For any problems with the circle battery mods, above, please take a look at the FAQ I had originally posted at Modaco and pasted below:
First of all, these mods are for GSF r3 ONLY. Secondly, to be safe, always do a Nandroid backup in ClockworkMod before installing any mod/theme. If you forget it isn't all that difficult to restore things to how they were, but it is a waste of time, rather than having the safety net of restoring the Nandroid backup.
FAQ:
Q1. After installing the mod my phone does not boot or continually shows the boot animation.
A1. You have probably installed the wrong mod/theme for your ROM (e.g. the GSF version on CM7). Don't panic it is easily fixed without losing any data. Boot into recovery and reflash the original ROM zip. Do not wipe any settings otherwise you will lose your configuration, SMSs, call logs, etc. when you get back into your ROM.
A1a. If you have downloaded and installed the correct mod for your ROM it may have been corrupted when you downloaded it or copied it to your phone - check the MD5 sum. Reinstall the original ROM zip to revert (see A1, above).
Q2. After installing I have lost some icons or features of my ROM.
A2. This is probably because you have installed the circle battery mod over another theme you have previously installed. In general, theme mods are incompatible with one another. Reinstall the original ROM zip (see A1, above) then install whichever theme mod you prefer out of the two.
A2a. Your ROM may be a derived one from the original release modified by another developer which has altered the framework or SystemUI. In which case you can restore the developer's features by reflashing their ROM (see A1, above).
A2b. ADVANCED: You can make a custom hybrid theme yourself with the features of the ROM/theme plus the circle battery mod: take framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from the ROM/theme and upload them to UOT kitchen under System files in the File upload tab. Extract settings.uot from your favourite circle mod zip file from this thread and also upload it under Kitchen's settings (or just chose your own battery icon from the many options in the UOT kitchen). Submit it, wait an hour or so and you will have your own custom theme mod with all the goodies from the ROM/theme of your choice plus the circle battery icon.
Q3: I have a different release of <xyz> ROM can I install this theme?
A3: It is only safe to do so if the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk has not changed. If you are not sure and you are brave you can take a punt, but refer to A1, above for instructions on how to recover if things go wrong.
Q4: I have a different ROM, is there a circle battery mod for it?
A4: See A2b, above.
Q5: Can you change the colours?
A5: See A2b, above, and play with the options in UOT kitchen.

Instructions?
Hi,
How do i do a nandroid with 2.2 alpha 3? With clock works 2.1.3.5
Also how would i install the theme and icons for launcher pro?
This is not for froyo 2.2 roms.
Thanks
B
Hi "Bazza1976"!
I´m a n00b sort of speak.
Very impressed with the theme and ofcourse I´d like to have it on my blade.
It´s a untouched rom, I´m guessing with some sort of vanilla (2.1-update1), kernel: 2,6,29.
In my case, is it best to read some about clockworkmod and get to work or is there anything else I should consider?
Thanks!

Yes read about clockworkmod and read again install clockworkmod.
I would recommend starting with modaco rom or other compatible rom with this theme.
It is all very easy i only started on this phone in October before i had the x10 but very different systems for theming.
Also goto modaco and read some posts on there for more info.
B
Alright! I´m forced to root and change rom for this theme to go hand in hand with the phone.
>> 2 modaco
thanks!
No luck with Greek Stock ROM 2.1
Flashed zip, reboot and ended up full of FC's.
Had to restore in recovery mode after that...
Thanks ! nice theme

Goal:
To try and achieve a stock ICS free look.
"Whats in the beta?"
The package contains all of Phone Candy GB final (minus the xml's as they can cause conflicts) but with the following ICS updates:
framework-res.apk
SystemUI.apk.
Contacts.apk
Phone.apk
Settings.apk
Ive removed the background gradient and replaced it with a solid black.
List of other apk's included can be found here.
The reason i have left in the Phone Candy GB elements is because 80% of the previous theme works, it just needs some refinement.Compatability:
The theme is based on AOSP so it should also work on CM9 and AOKP as they are based on AOSP.
As stated above i have left in the GB version of Phone Candy which contains some TouchWiz elements so feel free to try if you run a TW rom.
***The package will ONLY apply the files if they ALREADY EXIST.***
The package will create a backup after flashing located in "UniversalFlasher" on your SDCard but please create your own nandroid backup prior to flashing.Screen Shots:
Known issues:
There a couple of bugs that i am aware of including the over lapping of the status bar icons as seen below-
Resolved by creating new, improved icons:
Please help me find any more as i might not use the same apps/ menu's/ options as other people, so they can go un-detected unless reported. In the future:
I want to port this completely to AOSP/CM9 then ill start to work on the bugs and anything im not happy with.Credits:

Resolved status bar icon over lapping bug.

[THEME LH1] custom theme/batteries signal etc. lh1 firmware only.

Here is my version of a custom status bar with more color on the icons and larger battery icons with 1% increments.
I did not create the icons got them from various themes and threads already out there.
Icons Changed:
All battery with varying colors and percent, including charging battery icons.
Silent/Ringer icon now has red line through it.
Bluetooth icons are now purple.
Wifi icons start and red with 1 bar, then 2 bars is blue the purple for 3 and 4.
Vibrate icon is purple.
New image/notify icon is blue.
Eye icon is multi color.
Airplane icon is changed.
Alarm icon is changed/multi color.
Signal icons are 1 bar red, 2 bars yellow, 3 bars blue, 4 bars purple, 5 bars green.
NOTE: this is based on an AT&T leaked LH1 rom. I
I decompiled the stock AT&T rom with apk manager and make the changes myself rather than the quick and dirty just copy in new icons.
If you use this on ANOTHER CARRIER most likely your 3g/4g icons will not work correctly.
Use at your own risk, but make a backup first with cwm backup. I also recommend you manually copy a backup of SystemUI.apk to either SD of external SD, so you can manually restore if need.
It is based on a deodexed version of the rom but should work if you get rid of or rename the systemui.odex when applying but manually application will be necessary if you are odexed as the cwm script only copies the systemui.apk.
There are two versions below, first is the .apk by itself that you can copy into system/app and change permissions to match all other .apk's (rw r r ) and reboot to recovery and clear cache and dalvik cache and reboot.
I did this with root-explorer.
Second method,
is to flash the cwm .zip, also clear cache and dalvik cache (b4 installing patch) and reboot.
You need to be rooted to use these.
Here are some pictures to determine if you even want to use them:

[MOD][CM10.2]Transparent app drawer and status bar on CM 10.2

Want a transparent App drawer in CM 10.2?
Download the zip file from the link provided in second post and flash it through a custom recovery you use and see the magic. After flashing the zip file you will get a new option in the Settings >> Home Screen >> Drawer. There you will find Appearance section from where you can set the background transparency of the app drawer.
You can choose the drawer transparency from 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% and also none, you can check the screenshots below. After applying the transparency you will notice problem in animation while entering the drawer(not that worst) from the home, i m trying to fix that too. This is currently working on my Samsung Galaxy S3 CM 10.2, i m not sure if it works on other phones.. The transparent status bar mod is still work in progress and i will soon provide that mod too. Any suggestions are always welcome!!
Thanks to @kemoba for his commit for adding option in settings!!

I have uploaded the flashable zip file for the mod. Any further modification will be updated soon.
[Q] How to use the modification?
[A] Download the flashable zip and flash it directly through the recovery mode. Any recovery mode can be used to flash the zip file but CWM recovery is prefered. After flashing the zip reboot the system, for the first time you wont see any changes. Now after booting the phone go to Settings >> Home Screen >> Drawer. Scroll to the bottom and there you will see Background transparency under APPEARANCE section, from there you can choose how much transparent the app drawer should be.
This is currently only tested on Samsung Galaxy S3 on CyanogenMod 10.2. Users having phone other than Samsung Galaxy S3 can backup the Trebuchet.apk from system/app/ to the computer and flash the zip file, if the mod doesn't work than you can replace the Trebuchet.apk from the zip file with the one you backuped earlier and flash the new zip file containing your apk file.

Sorry for late reply.. I would be happy to share the transparent status bar as well but there is some problem with the modification i made. in my modification i set the status bar transparent (thats perfect if you are in home screen and app drawer) but when you switch to applications than status bar's color changes according to application's background color, if you still want that one i m happy to share. i tried a lot to make status bar color black only when apps are running but that is not working. I even tried to set the status bar color transparent only when user is in home screen and appdrawer(i.e. while running trebuchet, launcher) but that has too become mess..

4.3 Samsung Themed Keyboards

These Keyboards where done by @DoctorQMM over in the AT&T Note2 section. These keyboards DO/WILL work on our Sprint Variant of the Note 2 and look amazing. Again Thanks to DoctorQMM for his outstanding work.
I've always hated a plain ordinary stock keyboard and when 4.3 came out I didn't see anyone working on it, so I ventured thru the other n2 threads and came across this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2599343
Links and his Original Op are posted in the 2nd post below
If you like @DoctorQMM work then please consider going to his thread and give him a thanks.

Compadres, since I recently upgraded my SGN2 from 4.1.2 to 4.3 MK6, thought I'd take a stab at re-theming the Samsung keyboard... sharing for anyone who likes the stock Samsung keyboard (i.e., dedicated number row on main screen) but want some color splash as well. The 4.3 SamsungIME was a bit more challenging to theme than 4.1.2 (about 4 times as many png edits).. but its done, so here you go:
NOTE: this is the stock MK6 SamsungIME.apk (keyboard) pulled from seanzscream's "Sky_Note Air Vanilla F1" rom. BTW, what a masterpiece of rom development by seanz... absolutely best rom I've run in past 3 yrs (feature full, fast, ZERO FCs, and stellar battery life!). If you're still on 4.1.2, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out his work. Keyboard themes tested on "SkyNote Air Vanilla F1 (UCUBMK6) which is based on the latest ATT OTA..

How to Install:
1. make a copy of your current active SamsungIME.apk (found in /system/app ) and put it in a safe place (in case you wish to revert back). Do
NOT move or rename the active file.. just copy it and store in a safe location (i.e., on ExtSD or your computer).
2. make a nandroid / backup of your current rom (just in case)
3. copy desired keyboard flashable zip to your phone
3. boot to custom recovery... wipe cache.... flash keyboard zip (note: the Zip script will also wipe Dalvik Cache)
4. reboot and enjoy
Nice work! I'll be flashing some of these any second now.
Nice!
