Hello mga kabayan! It's my first time on Android (from Symbian) and I'm loving it every single day. I hope this thread will gather Filipinos and create a community to share ideas, updates, problems, and whatnot about our young.

Cranium made its very first release. But I^m still on stock recovery. For those who've made it, can you guys teach us how?

Here is what you need to do.
1. Download the CWM by skin from http://www.multiupload.com/IGKG2L5RAF and the Cranium ROM.
2. After finish downloading, do not extract it. Just put it in your SD card
3. Re-boot into recovery mode by pressing 'Home'+'Vol Up'+'Power' button
4. Choose 'apply update from sd card' by using the volume key
5. Find 'Skin1980-GT-S5360 CWM.zip' and install it. It will boot you into CWM recovery
6. Choose 'install zip from sd card' and install the Cranium ROM that you have put in ur sd earlier on.

Guys, I'm still stucked on stock ROM. I don't have time due to academic works (I'm working on a thesis) and good internet connection. Well, the thing is, I wanna create a custon ROM too.
Anyways, if you came fron different Pinoy-based forum, here are my usernames:

Please share your experiences with custom ROMs here. Magtagalog kayo para mas madali, kung hindi bawal. Hehe!
EDIT: So we can speak in our native language as long as it has English translation. I'll just post in the English language though. I am always posting using my SGY.

im currently using Creed's rom and its really beautiful, the only problem is the notification bar wont go down but other than that, its superb

Got a problem downloading the link of CWM Recovery of Skin. Can someone help me to this stuff? Btw, I tried to download it using my SGY thru wifi connectivity, then, it will start to download but it will fail after a few seconds, then, force closes my browser..

well I havent seen a theme for stock either, but that is because most people that root the galaxy nexus jump on a custom rom, which I would recomend you do as well. No themer will tackle a theme for stock, if he knows only 3-5 people would use it. If you still want to have a kinda sorta stock feel, take the AOKP rom and you will have many themes to choose from^^

I use stock and unrooted android.

Ah sry didnt look into your signature^^
Well as far as I know you its impossible to theme stock android, because you have to manipulate system files and you need to flash the theme.
I would highly recommend you to root your nexus and try out the AOKP Rom.
Rooting is fairly easy with the one-click-root nowadays and you miss out on awesome features when staying on stock^^

I know, i use AOKP since i bought this phone but yesterday, i flashed a theme for AOKP milestone, but i was with build 28, and then got a boot loop so i put stock 4.0.2 back and decide to wait for 4.0.4.
And now i see in AOKP forum the release of build 29 (4.0.4) and i will use him
Edit: I will wait for release of b30, lot of issues in b29

Hello
I've been using PA ROM, but unfortunatley, it's been quite unstable for me.
So I decided to flash omni rom. First impressions were great, but with one great error. The phone can't seem to turn on it's Radio.
Flashing kernels doesn't seem to help. And after restoring aospa, everything is back to normal. Any suggestions?

By Radio you mean mobile data? Could you give logcat & dmesg? My device don't have sim in it

Yes, I couldn't connect to my service provider, nor could I turn on WiFi.
Funny thing is, when I flashed it again today, to get the logcat and such, somehow it worked. I think flashing the boot.img from the zip the first time was unsuccessful. Now it works like a charm!

I've looked everywhere. Can anyone help with how to edit the quick menu options. Not just move them but to delete some tiles and add a couple others.

Ik heb een HTC OneX met daarop CM 10.2.1 Release, maar ik vind hiervan dat wifi slecht ontvangt. neem ik CM11 KitKat 4.4.3 dan kost dit veel energie voor de batterij.Al met al waar is de ballans te vinden?
De originele HTC 4.2.2 is erg kaal maar wel weer snel. Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_33.1 is ook goed maar bied weinig meer als het origineel en is ook Android 4.2.2.
Welke raden jullie mij aan? met als optie 1 goede gps lock, 2 goede wiffi, 3 lange levensduur batterij.

I assume you want a rom with good battery life. Well, with one x..normal if yours can last a day with normal usage. Most rom I can say equally, what matters if customization offered each rom.
Hope I'm guessing right cause can't recognize what language it is.

Hello ppl, I'm kind new here so... Need to start with some questions
As the name sad, I have a problem getting those button backlight into work on my OmniRom. I'm trying everything but onl 3rd party APP gets them to work. So I've got to this link: docs.omnirom.org/Device_overlays
But I can't find anywhere what is there said about 'frameworks/base - config.xml' etc.
Little help please?

Don't know is it last build or not. I have downloaded it from here -> [ ROM ] [ 4.4.4 ] [ Omni Rom ] [ Unofficial ] [ Weekly Update ] ; 1st download link. Rom is really the best from which i've tryed, and i've tryed almost all of them... Just there are few bugs:
- button backlight doesn't work
- camera freezes when i take a photo (had to manually raplace gallery2.apk with new one)
- can't set as wallpaper picture from gallery, bacause it chrashes
Still searching for the fix.

A fix is download latest one.... 2/11/2014. Seem you use early build. You will miss lots OMNI goodness.

Bah... I have instaled last update, but than I got stuck on setup screen, so I instaled 1st one.. Now it is fine, I have replaced with the lastest one, flashed boot again, and everything is working + bugs are fixed for now...

Seem you using AOSPA...go to setting-backup&reset..there an option there. Reset preference

Cannot install GApps
I´ve installed your Lollipop Rom and I just Love it. Thanks for you hard work
But I´ve got a problem with installing GApps. If i try to install it with th cyanogen Recovery it just say these two things:
E: footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
Hope someone can help me

if u make some researches u will find out that cm recovery is broken for all devices. It could flash but from sideload, or else just install twrp.

Haven't tried mobile internet yet but calling works great (really, seems that call quality is better than before). Overall, ROM is great, everything works great so far (I've had a few FC but faaaaar less than I expected). Battery life seems quite normal so far, no random reboots or atomic warfare. All in all - a wonderful thing for me and I really appreciate what you've done. Thanks a lot!

What mode of rom installation? It was not very clear to me, I can install on the rom sony stock or have to be on the candykat?

Fastboot flash kernel from cm11 becuz lollipop cm recovery broken
Boot into recovery
Make the wipes
Flash rom and gapps
Reboot

Candy5 Lollipop Bug
When i connect my bluetooth headphones it worksfine butvafter sometimes there is no sound. The music plays but no sound from the headphones. In buuetooth settings itvshows that the headphone is still connected. Help please

I told u no, u can't flash it on a locked bootloader. Not possible.

I have rooted my phone and installed dualrecovery.....and i know how to unlock bootloader......can you pls explain further...

U have to get on sony dev website to ask unlock key, then back up ur sh*t cuz u gonna loose everything, and finally u open flashtool and press blu button and follow steps...its easy as fu*ck
And don't be lazy...all informations/tutorials are available on xda, use searchbox

This is not a problem but a request. As its not possible to select wcdma only, or lte only. Could you please include that as most of the time it select GSM network by default.

Search for Gaurav's v2 it's stable and bugfree. I'm not using it as it's on mega and I'm unable to download from there. Right now I'm using decepticon Rom it's all good but with a bug that call waiting and call conference is not working.

Nothing wrong with mega it's because you don't have the app installed/account 50gb free cloud storage I used to be the same couldn't dl anything from mega n a bit wary to many people use it you're missing out for nothing honestly dl from playstore

I've downloaded the app, it's more than worse now. I've signed up on mega long back and can't remember the password now. The app doesn't allow me to come up with any password recovery method. It just put my account on hold and ask me to come back and login by remembering my forgotten password miraculously( after some sort of brain scanning ). Or the other way by signup with a new mail.

Right now there are 3 stble rom for t2.
1.Ultimate rom v2(no bug)
2.deceptricon (call waiting not working )
3.z2 deodax rom (sometimes it lags a lot)
So what I'm using
