I had this issue when I was using the phone the first few weeks. The phone - always when inactive - suddenly played the restart melody and briefly rebooted, though not as a complete reboot, many time every day.
I tried various solutions and one finally worked. The Accuweather widget was on the desktop. Removing this widget solved the problem! It must have adversely interacted with something else or the system itself.
I haven't had the issue once in the months since removing the Accuweather widget from the desktop.

tweak your phone..i think ram your phone is empty cause many application background and foreground running..
sorry for bad my english.

Please help with my galaxy note 2

Hi to all,
I bought my note three weeks ago, unlocked, GT-N7100, no warranty.
Yesterday suddenly restarted entering in boot loop. At first i thought i had pressed power button wrongly because i had it on hand, but after some time i saw the Samsung galaxy note II logo flash every 5-10 sec. I'm new on android and i panicked. I've been using idevices for years and always managed to handle every similar situation happened to me. I liked this phone in its original state so never tried to root it. The phone it's in stock ROM, (Jelly been 4.1.1) never restored, or updated. I haven't installed anything the last two days. Never had a problem till now, worked great.
I've been reading since yesterday in the forum the similar threats with problems as mine, tried a lot of times to enter on recovery mode with the vol+, home, power button and couldn't do that even once. I tried to enter in download mode with vol-, home, power button and i see the warning screen but when i press vol+ to enter on download mode the screen turns black and the note II logo reappears......
Tried to remove, put the battery again, no changes. The phone isn't recognized from Pc, Odin, Kies, Note 2 ToolKit. Rechecked the samsung drivers also. Please help me.
Is there anybody that can help me ?
Thanks in advance

If you can't enter into download mode ( vol- + home + power ) or recovery - i think usb jig and service center might be the only option.
Why is your phone without warranty ? Where did you buy it ?
I am afraid my friend tgat your phone got the sudden death syndrome.
You would have skipped this if you had updated to 4.1.2 which supposedly fixes the issue. You have to take it to your local Samsung service center.

It is a combination of hardware and software. Nand chip fails due to corruption by badly written firmware.
Why no warranty? I have heard that N7100 and all samsung phones plagued by this are immediately swaped.

Sounds like SDS. I don't think there's much you can do from your end sorry. Need to get it replaced or fixed at the service center. It's worth a try if you can go to the actual Samsung service center and not a retailer and check to see if they will replace it for you.

I agree, the warranty is usually provided by Samsung, not the retailer. You may need to print out your purchase invoice to prove you got the phone legit, though.
Thanks for replying guys.
I tried to contact the seller but he hasn't reply to me yet. I tried to contact samsung but they say to contact them in the country i bought it. I bought it from a usa seller, but samsung usa can't help because the model isn't in their database, because its GT-N7100 model. I'm confused to what samsung center to go now?
Can someone tell me what country was my phone destined?

Wifi + Bluetooth Problem

Hi everyone i have a problem with a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Sm-T800. I've been using since past novemeber so i hace almost a year with this great device.
But today i have a problem two days ago i was using normally my tab when i finish using i shutdown the device so today i turn it on but the Wifi and bluetooth buttons are unable to turn it on they stuck in gray color so i don't know what happen i already do the factory reset like 3 times and no response at all?
I friend told me to reinstall the firmware with odin i don't know what to do and if that is correct!
please someone can tell what to do with.
Note: It's running on 5.0.2 and my device is already rooted
Have you deleted any system files that might control wifi and bluetooth, an normal reset will not normally replace these files.
Have a look at the link below, it mention hard reset, to replace damaged system files, though the English is poor, I dont know if this is correct or if you will need to do flash an stock rom to fix your tablet as i have not faced this problem myself, hopefully and more informed owner with help you.

Someone had a similar problem with the Tab 4. It could be a missing mac file or something which causes it not to turn on. Take a look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=56474891

Hi there,
I have exactly the same problem with the 8.4 version (SM-T705).
I didn't root it or changed the official rom and have it since a little more than a year. I suspect a hardware break.

Spring Samsung Galaxy S6 - Bricked or recoverable?

Hi All,
First time posting - hopefully I won't make to much of a mess of it.
I'm UK based - and 6 months ago I bought a phone via an Ebay store (1st mistake) that looked like it was based in the UK and their page, and listed the S6 as being "UK version - networked unlocked".
As soon as I had made payment and requested it - it became clear that it was being shipped from Hong Kong - and when it arrived I realised it was a Sprint SM-G920P that had been flashed with some UK firmware.
I worked fine for a few months, but about a month ago it started randomly restarting, often then getting stuck in a boot screen loop when trying to restart. This problem got worse - to the point where it would crash 5 - 10 seconds after boot, and would usually require me restarting it 3 or 4 times to actually get it to that point in the first place.
I followed a guide I found, and flashed it back to the Sprint Firmware version - thinking it might be an issue with the Firmware the seller had installed on it, but this didn't resolve the issue.
I now have a phone that continually gets stuck in boot cycle. When i try and boot into recovery mode, it crashes back to boot. The only mode i can get it to boot into is download mode - but in download mode it informs me that Custom ROM is blocked by FRP Lock.
I can't get Odin to install TWRP - due to FRP lock, and I'm not sure what, if any ROM is worth me trying to install at this point.
Is my phone bricked? I'm also concerned about how much time i want to spend on it - as even if i get it back up and booting - if it is going to have the same - crash to boot problem as before, then it is still basically useless.
Thanks in advance.
I would try pit file. If you have 32gig version, koop has the file posted in his thread. This should clear up bad partition blocks. Then I'd let the battery completely die.
Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
Ok - so flashing the PIT file and installing a stock ROM has got the phone rebooting - but i'm still getting the random crashes.
My big fear was that this could be a battery / hardware issue - is there anyway to check what is causing the random crashes? Phone rarely stays on more than 30 seconds.

It just goes black - sometimes there is a very brief flash like animation.
For reference - when i've had something playing - or been on a call when it happens it gives a short harsh buzz as well.

post your /proc/last_kmsg file. That should have the culprits listed in terms of panics.
Also, look at the tombstones directory -- that will have the errors as well.

Restart every 2 minutes

I have the following problem:
My Galaxy S9 (G960F) has restarts every 2 minutes since a week.
The Samsung customer service thinks it is the circuit board, but he can only say more precisely when he has the device open - cost approx. 250 Euros. Is a lot of money for a 2 1/2 year old cell phone.
Maybe someone has an idea?
I am currently using an old iPhone but the move with Whatsapp does not work at all.
Greetings and Merry Christmas

flash most current FW with Odin and if it still does it, its probably a hardware issue and you might consider trading it in or something along those lines
I find it odd if it always shuts down at the same time every time.
Make sure battery is at least 60% charged and does indicate it's taking a charge ie battery %. Use know good cable/charger.
Try safe mode.
If you go to the boot menu and wait, does it cut it?
If not check to see if all hardware is working with the onboard diagnostic tests.
See what's set to have Administrator privileges; disable all.
Try a hard boot, and also clear system cache.
If that fails try a reload... run it before you load apps.
Try a reflash if all that fails.

Use Odin to reflash firmware. You can get the correct firmware on Sammobile.
I'd say it's almost certainly a software not hardware issue, if it started immediately after updating to Android 10.
Try rebooting into recovery mode and clearing cache and delvic first. Could be a rogue piece of software.
If the battery is low and not charging properly it will behave like this.
They auto shutdown when battery drops below 6% or so.
When you hook charger to phone without booting it up, after 30 minutes what's the indicated charge?
Then after shutdown, again without booting it up, what's the charge shown on the charge screen?

You do not need root to access recovery - The whole point in Recovery is to help out if something goes wrong. Reboot to recovery and clear the cache and dalvic. Then restart and see if the problem persist.
If problem does persist - Boot to download mode and leave the phone in download mode for a few minutes, see if the problem happens there. Because Blackhawk brings up a good point, you may have trouble even flashing the firmware if the device powers off in download mode.

Great. In that case, if I were you I'd try flashing the firmware. It shouldn't take more than 10 mins to flash. Ensure battery is charged to 100% to give best possible performance.
I mean, when the alternative is returning to Samsung and a €250 bill, I'd say it's worth a try.

If it doesn't work, then it means it isn't software and is hardware.
But considering Download Mode works fine, I'd say that pretty much cements the fact that it's software. Something was probably corrupted during the update. Since you've already cleared the cache ( You did that in Recovery, right?) then the best option will just be a clean flash of the update. You'll lose all data on the device, but you'll save yourself a bill from having to send it to Samsung.
As BlackHawk has said - A factory reset could potentially help. Might be worth a try before flashing stock.

Question A52s random “Can’t load Android system.” when rebooting

Hi all,
I am encountering this strange bug randomly: sometimes the device Is rebooting itself and it goes automatically in recovery mode, sometimes after a reboot it does the same. The error is always: Can’t load Android system. clicking on “try again” solves the issue (sometimes at the first retry, sometimes after some retries).
I’m attaching the error screens, also because the error message is not every time the same (Attaching also a normal way to enter recovery).
Has someone encounter this bug?
Any hints on how to solve this? I haven’t already do a full reset of the phone, but i think it wilL be the next step I’ll do if the phone is continuing like this.
Thanks!
Hi Arobase40, thanks for your answer.
Yes i know that this things could happen if you do some strange things to the phone (and in my past i was used to that ) but in this case, all is pure and untouched, no unathourized apk and no modding at all. (My use is quite noob-ish now eheh)
And that's seems very strange! :/ I made only ota update and this happened both with android 11 and 12.

If full reset is not enough (specially when the system is missing....) you'd have to restock it with an official Samsung firmware... ^^

Well ok, in your case try to flash back a stock firmware from Samsung with Frija or Samfw (don't forget to supply the correct model and CSC) using PC Odin.
If that don't fix the problem then get in touch with your local Samsung website and you should find a phone number for the after sale service and they will give you the nearest Samsung official repair center from your home.
They should fix this issue very quickly using most probably the same tool which is PC Odin.
If you go to the repair center don't forget to backup all your apps and data, remove your scard if you have one and also your sim card...

Just to be updated and make some laugh: today the phone while was charging has become completely unresponsive, showing "Samsung Galaxy" on a black screen when touching Power Button or connecting to Power. After a while (hard pressing Power Button and Power+vol up) it restart itself and works again. Never had such an experience with a phone (a COMPLETELY stock phone)

Idk, seems like a hardware issue to me. Try and have a go at where you've bought it and have them check it over.
My first thought too is hardware.
A few years ago I had something similar with a different phone (Moto G) - as a last ditch effort I popped out the SIM and SD cards and reseated them and it worked perfectly after that. If you have an SD card you might even want to leave it out a few days just to see.
Not saying this is your issue but couldn't hurt to try!
