So I decided to get a case for my Galaxy Nexus... About 4 of them! I figured at $2 - $4 each, one of them has to be nice
I'm expecting them to arrive in about two-three weeks.
Are you guys interested in a review of each of them? I know some of you will only use expensive brand name cases, but I can't justify $40 for a piece of plastic, so the review might help those who just want to be frugal.

I'm happy with it, although the seller seems to have jacked up the price to $19. Not worth that much, but it's worth $4 for sure and it only took a week and a half to get it from HK.
Please do. I spent all my money on the nexus so I can only afford one ultra cheap case for it lol

Unfortunately they don't. The UAG cases are very form fitted to the stock phone.
That site seems a bit too hip for me to buy from...
Same problem as ever, won't ship to Europe. Main company does, but I end up paying 2x more with shippings and customs and may take up to several months to get here...

I have the galaxy for about 2 weeks now, and I'm afraid to pick it out the table with it's current cheap original case!
I'm looking for something new, something to guard it from falls and prevent any damage! I'm on a contract for the next 3 years, can't afford anything happen to the phone during this time.
basically, I want both protection for the back and the screen, so i came to the 3 options i mentioned in the title.
I don't care how much inches the case adds to the phone, if it's comfortable or not, if the screen loses it's quality! i only care for the case to give the best protection possible, one that will last for a while as well and not lose it's quality in a few month (something i heard about the defender).
so what do you think? which case answers this need best?
all are the same price from what i saw, 50$. i don't mind putting them, but are there any cheaper suppliers? but not with the chance of buying a fake case, prefer to spend the 50$ fully...

Just wanted to share that I noticed that Amazon is now carrying the Otterbox Commuter and Defender cases directly from their own warehouse.
I bought a Commuter from Amazon not even a month ago for about $20 and the price of the same case dropped by $5.
Defender cases also had a significant drop in pricing as well.

I've used Otterbix for years. Literally on e eey device I have had. Got a black commuter from sprint 2 days ago. Just returned. Man what a pain In the add to get it on and off. I mean, I e never had that much trouble with a commuter. So bummed out. But I did notice the price drop last night. I may try the defender this time. Either way, thanks for the heads up for people who don't know :thumbup:

I wouldn't touch these even with your money.
These are 99% likely to be counterfeit cases since they are sold outside of Amazon direct at a price that is WAY outside the norm for Otterbox cases on sale.
Same for all those counterfeit microSD card deals we keep seeing popping up.
If it's too-good-to-be-true, then..... well you know.

Hey guys, i have a brand new ballistic sg case that im looking to get rid of. I bought it thinking i was getting the deal of the century thinking it was the sg maxx for the evo lte (thats what i get for ordering things half asleep) so now i have 2 sg's 1 i keep on my og evo and now a brand new one that im trying to sell. I got it for $10 with $3 shipping so i am selling it for $16 this way it covers the shipping to you (whoever buys it) im not making a single cent off of this, just trying to get my money back. i would just return it but i have to pay the return shipping and would be loosing out on $6. its a $35 case that isn't listed on their site anymore so i assume its not made anymore so $16 seems pretty solid for anyone looking for a pretty rugged cheap case. pm me or post here if your interested. also mods, if you feel this shouldn't be here then feel free to move/remove it. Figured i would post here since its a case for this phone and would be the easiest way for people to see it.

it is. i got one for my evo lte now and its indestructible. i have literally thrown it at walls just cuz and its survived it all. same thing with this case for this phone, i had my other one on here for months and then accidentally ordered a second :/ haha

Hello all. I have a question. Kinda like a poll. How much do you think I could get for my s3 if I sold it on Craigslist or ebay? It is the 16gb pebble blue one. I would rate the phone in almost mint condition. It only has a small scratch on the screen. I would include an extra battery, a pure gear dualtek case, and a seidio obex waterproof case with belt holster. No charger or ear buds would be included. My upgrade is coming in May, and I think I would get more for my phone than sprint would give me for it if I sold it privately. I would like to get $150 for everything. Is that price reasonable? Let me know what you think.

Just check your local craigslist to see the comps. Then price accordingly.
