change language

I'm new in "windows mobile"
I have saw many threads how to change language ... one of them I have tried
registry edit
but isn't work, it change only a part of it in english ...(only 3D touch)
and someone have tell me to try this one
hard reset
if I will make this one will remain 3D touch, google maps and the other programs that was on it from start?
or if are other ways to make it in english and with all programs that it comes from start please give me a link
thanks!
or to install the ROM?
I have try with cancel memory and now I don't see in file explorer internal memory, it's disappeared
I connect the phone on my computer , to see it new partition like a memory stick I put music and in phone with music player isn't any music file ...
please some help
thanks!
installing a new rom is the way to change the language. I don't think there are patches or updates that will allow you to change it like Vista Ultimate..
Doing the hard reset will install the Rom again, like you first bought it. It will delete all files in the main memory. (hold down volume down + centre button + red reset button for 3 seconds or so.. You get a menu where u can only reinstall rom or also format internal memory.. backup ur data before this..

On Linux - fdisk, gparted.
On Windoze... don't know many options other than some "Mini Partition Tool"... Win doesn't like to read Lin partitions. At all.
To the OP - perhaps you should provide some guidance here. It's very different from how XDAndroid builds are done, with one giant partition and looped mounts.... much easier for newbies to handle .

That "crazy led" represents sleep.
There's an APK called LEDEffects.apk. This will allow you to customize how this LED is treated. In XDAndroid builds it's in AndroidApps/Other IIRC.

Anyone with screenshots?
Anyone with screenshots?
This ROM is really nice!
I have a question for npkboot ROM's. After I run the installation from npkroom directory the installation starts and I can complet it without any problem. If I want to move the content on mpkboot directory into the root directory of my sdcard in order to make the OS start at booting, should I copy all the content of the directory npkboot into /sdcard/? in this case, should I keep two copies of all files one in /npkboot/ and one in /sdcard/? I hope I was clear enough. To make it short, what file sould I keep or/and moove to make this rom start with Gen.Y boot application?
Second question, how could I make the font bigger! It's too small for me
How did you resolved the Volumn Down issue.

Maybe you haven't copired npkboot into sdcard, you will have something like /sdcard/npkboot/ and from there run Haret. Rows will start scrolling down, at a certain point the screen will be cleared and only one line will appear on top saying to press "volume down"
Nope I have have the same. I downloaded the V2. Unzip and put npkboot at the root of sdcard. My location is /sdcard/npkboot/ . So is this correct or I have to keep everything inside the npkboot to /sdcard/
Looking it carefully I am getting this error. Currently only 1 or 2 FATs are supported, Not 255
What does this mean.
Can anyone help me out?

Ah, yea there's no good fix for that. Android/Linux doesn't handle the capacitive panel so well... When I had my RAPH, I remember if you touch from the very outside of the panel/button and ensure the button lights up before you press it - this usually ensures that the button you're pressing is actually picked up.
I've heard of the panel going completely dim, and never responding to touch input. Like I said, that damned panel is not so well supported. Not sure what's wrong with it, other than it's a bad design from the start. I'm sure Linux could handle it better tho... Devs welcome .

As for your first question, Neopeek butchered the rootfs pretty bad so you can't move the folder. Just tell Gen.Y to use the npkboot folder (there's registry settings for Gen.Y...)
As for your second question, lcd.density? Not sure.

Hehee, I guess so.
download the "update.zip" which is the root file, from the main root thread, then put it on ur internal storage, while ur phone is off, keep pushing volume up,home button and power button, when phone lights up just remove the finger over the power button and wait, strange mode will appear like the pics on the thread of rooting, tap over the menu button "touch sensitive button on left of home button" then ur recovery mode is working , now press volume down to to select apply update from sdcard then push home button to enter ur choice "navigation through options is done by volume buttons, touch screen isnt working" then apply ur update.zip file then from main menu choose reboot system, when ur phone wakes to normal mode just look for superuser icon (if u have it then ur rooted)

you don't want read carefully...:laugh::laugh:
don't worry it happens me too, sometimes even if you do the right things the process don't go well
format your card in a pc with FAT32 format and retry to do the backup... if something is wrong you must reinstall CWM (how do you install? with odin or with terminal mode?)
as you can see even if the things are simple... you must read... guides or threads don't be important... you must read
I hope you can solve yr problems
edit: and please be patient... don't touch anything when the phone is still making backup or flash any custom rom/CWM... wait the result it show in the screen before touching any key
dont format ur sdcard from ur phone, instead, plug ur sdcard to ur pc and check if it is readable (may or may not be readable) if its readable then u can salvage ur very imp data (dont copy the whole sdcard just ur imp data only) to ur pc then format ur sdcard
press thanks if i help you

I have the same problem with my first CMW flashed: 6.0.1.2
I download and flash it with odin... the backups are even corrupted or simply not good...
I decide to flash (with odin too) another version (6.0.1.9) and then it works fine...
don't desperate... try to download (for me it's better with pc instead directly with the phone) another version of CWM or simply the same... it is possible do you have a corrupted file
reinstall it (with odin or terminal mode) and retry to do a backup
first of all as you can read above format the SDcard in a pc with FAT32 format and set "predefinite" the allocation unit size

Is there any way it can save them to my extr-Sdcard ?
You can choose while in recovery to back up to internal or external.
