ICS Extended Toggle Strip - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi guys, I love the built in toggle strip\menu in ICS but is there a way to add in Airplane Mode and disable say Bluetooth which I never ever use?? Maybe there is an app I should use?? I really like the look of the stock power menu and would want that if at all possible.....
Thanx,
M

Not exactly what you're thinking of (I, personally, find it a much better solution to this kind of problem): MoreQuicklyPanel
Also, Llama.

Thanks. I just purchased it and it seems to be what I needed. Coming from the Galaxy S2, I seem to be paying for something that Touchwiz had already built in. Oh well. Live and learn.

You also can install AOKP ROM (or nearly any other custom rom) for example and must pay nothing for this Feature

Just sent you back one dude.

How did you do the screenshot / GN overlay with reflection ? Is this with Gimp or Photoshop or is there an app that did this ? Pretty damn slick!

I have no idea but that is essentially what my first post was about. I would like the Bluetooth icon removed as I never ever use it and it would be so sweet to be able to add in Airplane Mode and Mobile Data, both of which I use all the time.
TulpiX are you a developer?
Thanks,
M

[Q] Does anyone know how to make SpareParts settings stick after reboot?

installing Spare Parts from Market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.androidapps.spare_parts&hl=en
lets you change many hidden settings
however the one i like the most "Extremely Small Font Size" always resets back to default "Normal" size after a reboot
anyone knows how to make the setting stick?
It does that on the nexus s also. Not sure how to get around it
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
Some stick some don't
Spare Parts is basically a Google proof-of-concept app/tool/example, it's not actually intended to be distributed to the public. It works as it supposed to. It is more or less used for developing apps. It isn't os suppose to be os wide.

Could someone either tell me how to get rid of this button or remove it for me? Would be greatly appreciated. Small thing that annoys me.
I think you have to use apk tool to remove it, or you can download a new sms manager from market. But why is it so horrible? Why do you want to remove it?
You honestly don't want an easy way to add an attachment. Why?

Interesting. They probably had some code merged from the Note and left this in there. Even still, we don't have the hardware to take advantage of the S Pen.

heres an easier way to enable it
http://androidadvices.com/enable-usb-mass-storage-option-samsung-galaxy-s3-tutorial/#.UC6adN3N_X8
but If your still wondering I found it under USB in the shortcuts
Thanks - but how is that easier? lol
I just long press my desktop in Apex, select shortcuts, select USB, and wala! choose mass storage, done.
Pretty easy to me. and thanks again
Are you running apex pro? My free version doesn't have the "USB" choice.
maybe its my rom I guess.

(App)Action launcher

I know many of you favour apex and nova, but if you fancied something a little different and have a few $ spare I can't recommend action launcher enough. It now has icon support!

I actually think Action Launcher is pretty cool, even though I don't use it. The features are neat, they just don't do anything for my specific usage scenarios. Cool ideas, though.

This launcher so far is the best if you want a different launcher but simple and elegant!

[Q] Stock ICS recent apps on stock rom?

I don't use small apps and I like large thumbnails for switching between apps.

Possible or it depends on the framework? I know you can get the aosp lockscreen by deleting uxpnxtlockscreen.apk, is something like that possible for the recent apps?

I already did that, that just disables the small apps bar. The thumbnails are still on the right hand side, exactly the same and I consider them to be small.
I'd like AOSP version, I think Sony ICS version was also the same.

It's still a little buggy for me. Camera still has a purple tint, Subway Surfers isn't working(only game I play, LOL) and battery drains too fast for me; phone lost like 25% over night while deep sleep. All that on OpenSemc RC2, once those are fixed(fingers crossed for Rayman) I'm never going back to stock.
