Interesting. They probably had some code merged from the Note and left this in there. Even still, we don't have the hardware to take advantage of the S Pen.

How did you get to those settings?

http://androidadvices.com/enable-usb-mass-storage-option-samsung-galaxy-s3-tutorial/#.UC6adN3N_X8
but If your still wondering I found it under USB in the shortcuts

Thanks - but how is that easier? lol
I just long press my desktop in Apex, select shortcuts, select USB, and wala! choose mass storage, done.
Pretty easy to me. and thanks again

Are you running apex pro? My free version doesn't have the "USB" choice.
maybe its my rom I guess.

[Q] Deleting apps with "edit" method in apps drawer = uninstall?

Okay so I have done a couple searches on this question but the terminology is too general and I always end up with a bunch of articles on how to delete bloat and the such so I was wondering if someone could just end my curiousity once and for all:
When you access your "applications" folder of all your apps from your homescreen, and you hit options, then edit, and then small minus symbols appear next to all your apps, you can click these and it asks "are you sure you want to delete the application?"
I know this is a way to hide bloatware but not delete it before rooting, but I was wondering if this is a full uninstall for other apps. If I use this method to rid my application folder of an app I don't want anymore, is it the same as going into my downloaded tabs in memory management and uninstalling it? This has been bothering me for a while, and while this is a pretty convenient way of deleting apps, I want to be sure I'm completely uninstalling them, not just hiding them away somewhere.
TIA XDA.

Go Launcher EX has that feature
when you click the edit and hit the X it will uninstall the App completely

No problem. It should be available on custom roms too as I think no Dev will take that option out. There is also this option if you home button and select task manager and then the tab show in the pic.

ICS Extended Toggle Strip

Hi guys, I love the built in toggle strip\menu in ICS but is there a way to add in Airplane Mode and disable say Bluetooth which I never ever use?? Maybe there is an app I should use?? I really like the look of the stock power menu and would want that if at all possible.....
Thanx,
M
Not exactly what you're thinking of (I, personally, find it a much better solution to this kind of problem): MoreQuicklyPanel
Also, Llama.
Thanks. I just purchased it and it seems to be what I needed. Coming from the Galaxy S2, I seem to be paying for something that Touchwiz had already built in. Oh well. Live and learn.
You also can install AOKP ROM (or nearly any other custom rom) for example and must pay nothing for this Feature

How did you do the screenshot / GN overlay with reflection ? Is this with Gimp or Photoshop or is there an app that did this ? Pretty damn slick!

I have no idea but that is essentially what my first post was about. I would like the Bluetooth icon removed as I never ever use it and it would be so sweet to be able to add in Airplane Mode and Mobile Data, both of which I use all the time.
TulpiX are you a developer?
Thanks,

[Q] App to draw on pictures?

Ok, I must have clicked on every app in my GN2. Which app allows to draw on pictures? I saw it on commercials and I saw it on the reviews, but for the life of me I CANNOT recall the name of the app. Making me crazy.....
Long press on pic to take a screenshot and it will let you draw on that right then. Or create an "idea note" and insert a picture.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
From the gallery, if you go to any image and press the menu key, there will be a "draw on image" option that will allow you to change marker types and colors to draw on a picture you took.

Thanks guys!

I got this from the other thread. Go into Samsung Apps and download Photo Editor. It's free and has a similiar icon to the gallery. In there you can choose drawing from the decoration menu.

You have to be pressing the button on the S Pen for it to take the screen shot. It then immediately puts you into the drawing mode to draw what ever you want on that screen shot. Hope that helps.

[Q] Question About Showing Gallery Images

Hello all!
This has been bugging me for a few months. I've tried a number of times to search for ways to hide galleries from the native Android Gallery app. I don't really want to use a third-party app.
Does anyone know how to hide galleries displaying on my phone? The ones I want to remove are 2 flickr accounts linked to my google account, and my dropbox camera uploads.
Thank you!
Eli
Not sure if this is the one tht you are looking for.

You can go into the stock gallery and choose only what you have on the device and not online!

Or the next thing is to unlink those account's and they won't show up in your gallery. Unless you tell it to!!

Shoot, you know what... everytime I restart the Gallery App the "View By" menu where you choose "Content in Device" gets unselected.
Is there a way to permanently keep it so those albums don't show up?

I'd say you may have to unlink them from you gallery folder!!
But yeah I see what you mean it defaults back to all content!
But it's as simple as hitting menu and setting it again until you reboot. Two clicks ya DONE!

[BOOTANIMATION] My Collection of Bootanimations

Here are some bootanimations that I have converted from a Nexus thread and ported them on our device. Previews in this thread are much lower quality than actual animations. This is to help load the page faster. Flash these in recovery (tested on CWM only). Animations saved to data/local/ folder.
Here is a link to a folder if you guys are really interested.
