Hi, I just installed creeds rom following all the steps with the special recovery but after I did that, everything was fine and then I rebooted and now I just get a blackscreen and a sound , my device is gt 5360l whats wrong!!!
u would not have done a data wipe...go into recovery,do w data wipe,then install the rom

try to pull off the battery,and insert it again,if nothing happens go to recovery and wipe data and cache..
Thank you!, I solved the problem by wiping the data in the normal recovery, not the custom one!
Its normal when you flash a new custom firmware over a stock. Usually it takes about 5-10 mins before it completely boots up.

Hi Guys I recently flashed CM9 ICS from mclaw and decided to move to the Orange light rom, I wiped and then flashed the zip through CWM but now the phone does not get passed the samsung logo. I Then proceeded to flash a stock 2.3.6 through odin but still the problem persists I am now without recovery and ideas.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do a factory reset and wipe sd-ext and dalvik , first boot can take some time...

Try one of these Recovery's from phiexz.
You can flash them with Odin.
Thanks guys the issue is resolved! I flashed cwm recovery and with that the phone booted normally although I still don't know what the issue was!

i have been a user od the cm 9 i wanted to try the aokp rom. so i downloaded the gapps and the rom itself.i put the files on my sd card and went into recovery.in recovery i did a factory reset,formated the system, wiped the cache and the dalvik. the i flashed the rom and gapps. but when i reboot it the phone is stuck in the boot animation and all ic can see ist the s3 logo. when i flash the aokp file i feel like its installing to fast .the phone says that the installation ist complete but i think it went to fast . i really dont know what im doing wrong. i totally listened to the instructions. i would appreciate any help

it sounds like a bad download...when aokp is installing in recovery it should take anywhere from 15 to 20 sec same with gapps. i would redownload off the computer and stick it on the root of your sdcard... hopefully u had a backup. also what recovery are u using??? I recommend twrp it is very user friendly and also mounts ext sdcard. some of the recovery for this phone is finnicky.... twrp gives me no problems

i do have a backup =) an im using clockwork recovery.and what do you mean with :i would redownload off the computer and stick it on the root of your sdcard.
I got this issue coming back from aokp I just had to install tw kernel maybe u just need aosp kernel

i redownloaded it a few times but it still did not wokr( i have a t-mobile galaxy s3 and live in germany) i used these site for the downloads: http://aokp.co/index.php/releases/_/jellybean-build-1-r28 for the rom and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1798981 for the gapps
by the way i tied to install cm10 and it perfectly worked, if this helps

Reflash with odin .. most of the times it works
Try wipe data for 3 times after flashing rom.

You need to enter recovery and wipe data and cache this will solve your problem

Can you get into recovery or download mode?
If you can get into recovery, try wiping cache, dalvik and data wipe/factory reset.
If you can't or wiping doesn't work, try going into download mode and starting fresh with an odin flash of your firmware (stock ROM)........

I have un bricked it but now can u please send me full instructions to install 4.2.2 on my device coz when i flash it every thing goes fine but as i insert my sim the device hangs and reboots within a few seconds...also my external sd card is always mounted but data is never shown ???:crying:
please suggest the supporting cwm for it and how to flash it coz it is in "img" format..:cyclops:

Why did you take the sim card out?
Have you tried the flash with the sim card in place?
It might be a problem with the sim in which case you'll need to get it replaced by your network provider.........

I followed the instructions in the link bellow including the baseband everything works fine except ever time I reboot it lock the phone up and I have to re flash and go through the setup again the phone operates perfectly every time till I reboot then I loose everything this happens with every rom I am using twrp b 2.5.0.2 recovery I put my backup of rooted stock 4.2.2 and every other rom I can get my hands on did a wipe data before flashing but every time I get the same thing stuck at splash after first boot

You could also try a full wipe. Not just a factory reset or just data

I tried all that and yes I saw the red print oh well I did find that it will boot if I go to recovery then boot system from the reboot section
Fixed followed the unroot section and put stock 4.2.2 back on and started over with putting a recovery back on then followed the guide all is good now
