Same Flip Cover for International and North American LTE Note? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

Does the original Samsung international note flip cover fit the new LTE North American version as well?

yes it should be. there is no different on physical size.

Except the ATT Note has the NFC connection on the battery cover. I heard that the Anymode flip cover has the connection on its cover. I haven't heard about the Samsung Flip cover will have the NFC.

I was at the Telus store yesterday. They had the official Samsung flip cover with the integrated back cover. I tried, and the store rep tried, to get it to fit on my Hong Kong N7000. It mostly, almost fit. One side would click in and then when pushing the other side in the clicked in side would pop out. It was so close I was hopeful but it just would not stay on.

I have the internation flip cover, does not fit my Rogers note.
Joe, which Telus store were you at? Where are you from I really want a flip cover that fits.

so the normal back cover of the at&t one should also fit the international note?
I want that Galaxy Note logo on th back of my Note

The AT&T Back will NOT fit on the International versions. Its either to thick, or has different connectors.

I was at the Telus store in Burlington Mall. Just west of Toronto.

Which Case for Samsung Galaxy S2 X T989D

Hi - could someone advise me which case would fit the Telus Samsung Galaxy S2 X?
I am in the U.S. and bought this phone but need a case.
Would one of the popular ones from Amazon fit?
Thanks!
if you phone the same as t-mobile galaxy s II, look here
Well that's the Issue, I was hoping someone here would be able to tell me if it is the same and same cases apply.

Yes, the same cases for the T-Mobile T989 will fit the T989D for Telus perfectly.
I ordered my Seidio Active Case with Kickstand and Holster from the US and it was specific to the T-Mobile T989 model and it fits perfectly.
The phones are identical, the only difference is the writing on the front of the phone. Mine says Samsung at the top and nothing at the bottom, just the settings, home, back and search buttons. I believe on the T-Mobile model it says T-Mobile at the top and says Samsung at the bottom. Other than that they are the same phone.
If you have doubts you can always walk into a t-mobile store. I'm sure they have a live unit on display you can hold your's up to for comparison.
They are 100% the same
As stated above, the only cosmetic difference is the T989D just says "Samsung" at the top of the screen where the T989 is branded "T-Mobile"

make sure you dont purchase a case for the att skyrocket. its external speaker is on the opposite side.
the skyrocket and t989 can use eachothers roms, radios, but not cases.

Thanks for the feedback, I went with the TPU best selling case for this phone from Amazon to just keep it simple
I'm looking for an extended battery set with cover for the T989D (samsung galaxy S2X)
Of course the market has only sets for the T989 minus the D.
Are you saying that the dimensions of T989 and T989D are similar enough such that the battery cover will interchangeably fit?
PDADB.NET seems to indicate otherwise, as the dimensions indicated are different.

They are physically the same phone. I believe I have a seido (sp?) 3800 ext battery and case if interested. Otherwise, I have a BNIB CDMA Gnex ext battery that will fit with stock cover.. some may need Minor mods. but if using a case then doesnt really matter.

what case do you have working with the T989D with extended battery? (just to clarify, case = full body case, NOT a battery cover).

All Verizon Galaxy Nexus accessories are compatible with Sprint Galaxy Nexus?

Anyone can confirm if All Verizon Galaxy Nexus accessories are compatible with Sprint Galaxy Nexus?
They look like the same phone

has anyone tried the Verizon extended battery on the Sprint model? It doesn't work on the GSM so might not work on the Sprint either.

my opinion is that gsm is a smaller model, verizon and sprint are cdma/lte/fatter model. i imagine everything should fit....

The Verizon extended battery cover does not fit the sprint galaxy nexus. I went to a Verizon store to see if it would, and the cover tabs do not align properly. You might be able to grind the one tab that is misaligned, but the cover wouldn't fit as snug. The battery looks like it fits, has nfc and the same electrical specs, but the part number is not the same for the 1850 mAh stock size.

Thanks, was just about to pull the trigger on one. Shame, I really want the 2100 mAh battery.
Sucks was hoping that the verizon battery will work on sprint. Guess have to wait then
So even though the Sprint and Verzion websites list slightly different sizes I would be fine getting this case? http://www.shopandroid.com/seidio-active-case-with-kickstand/4A54A9572.htm

The LTE Extended battery does NOT fit. As a previous poster said, the tabs on the back cover are different. Also, the cover is lighter in color. The sprint galaxy nexus is a dark titanium, where as the Verizon is a lighter titanium color. So we just have to wait for sprint to release there own version, if they ever do
As for the cases, those should all fit fine. I have the Rinke *sp* and that fits good. it snaps in perfectly, but since there is room for the extended battery, the lower back half has a little flex if pressed on.
I also have the incipio NGP and double cover, both fit perfectly
I just went to Verizon and got the car dock. Works and fits perfect..
Verizon accesories
My preordered phone arrived on Friday. I rushed out that evening to find a screen protector and case. I found the ZAGG screen protector at Best Buy but was disappointed with the case that they were offering. Luckily a Verizon store was across the street. I was offered 6 different cases. I went with an INCIPIO DOUBLE COVER. Fits like a glove.
Extended Battery
The cover does not fit but if you cut off the two little tabs it does fit. The extended battery does also work. I've been using the regular and the extended since Friday. It also works if you get the seidio extended BT Case Cover or the Ringke Slim Case CDMA version.
It looks better with the case on than the VZ cover. I hope sprints makes an Extended cover.
I hope this helps.
soooo.... pic 1 kinda looks like ass.... is that AFTER cutting the tabs????
i tried this myself in the verizon store it didnt look like it would fit right.
All those pics were taken after cutting the tabs.

Wow. If that's how the VZW back fits around the Sprint CDMA Camera, these two phones are vastly different in size.

I ordered the verizon extended battery and cover and cut the two tabs off, it works fine and does not look like it would come loose. I also ordered the siedo surface case for the Verizon phone with extended battery to hide the ugly verizon logo ;-)
Geoff
Don't suppose anybody out there would make a battery door that would fit the verizon battery, only instead of having the verizon logo, have the google logo like the GSM?

Will a usa and canada otterbox fit my international HOX?

All the auctions in eBay say that the otterbox case is for usa and canada only, will it fit my international version?
I have the us otter ox and it fits fine. The camera holes are very slightly off and so is the bottom Mic hole. But neither affect performance or pictures.

Grat, thanks! I ordered an international one from eBay, like the only one up there lol!

Do the Euro Note 2 cases work for the US Note 2's?

I am looking on ebay for cases for the AT&T Note 2 but some of the cases say (only for the n7100) and very few sellers acknowledge i317..

I know some people are not tech savy but I don't want to buy a case that's slightly off (specifically a flip case that replaces your back cover)

Not talking about size, im talking about the way the back cover goes on the GN2 for the flip case. Are the clips in the exact position (Euro vs Tmobile)?
Bump,
Can anyone with an AT&T GN2 confirm that the n7100 flip case that goes in place of the back cover is compatible?

Its just the Galaxy S3 the deisgn and size didn't change even if some of the innered are different, you can use cases and backcovers just fine.
I got a Canadian Note 2 and bought the official Samsung flip cover and reading the inside of it, it actually reads N7100 as the model number on the flip case and I got that from my Carriers store.
So any cases or back covers you order for N7100 will work for i317/M
Phones are all exactly the same except for Verizon and their funky home button.

Then why is it that ebay sellers say their cases are only compatible with the n7100 and not other sub models? That's why I'm skeptical in buying a case...

Samsung + AT&T = Cheap?

So I was at a mall today and walked into a BestBuy mobile store. They have the Note 2 from AT&T and Sprint on display.
I picked up a Sprint Note 2 and immediately noticed it's thicker than my AT&T version and also sturdier. With the permission of the store worker, I open up the back, and confirmed that the back is thicker than that of my AT&T version. And because of that, it feels a lot more solid in my hand.
Don't know if others have checked it out, but if I am right, the AT&T version has a thinner and cheaper back. At least that's the "case" with mine.
Then I walked into another mobile store and bought an OEM Samsung flip case (BestBuy is waiting for their case to come...sigh), the kind that you have to replace the original back with the back on the case. Again, the back on the case is thicker and makes the phone feel a lot more solid.
Also during the few minutes in that BestBuy store, I saw two people walk in and ask for Note 2. Pretty cool.
Just because it's thinner doesn't mean it's cheaper. I'm just fine with a thinner phone. I usually put a tough case on mine because of my line of work, so the thinner the phone itself is, the better. But I have no problem with the feel of the att

A carbon fiber hood is thinner than a steel/aluminum hood. Guess which is cheaper.
Given that these back panels are made of the same materials the comparison isn't exactly the same but I'd take a thinner phone... My ATT note 2 feels plenty solid to me. Why add weight or bulk?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
Owning 2 Sprint versions Ive found AT&Ts build quality more solid.
The battery cover is more sure then Sprints.
Sprints is little heaver & thicker due to extra radios....a mess of sorts which is one of the main reasons I went ATT .

It's interesting to read all the opinions. I either have a not so impressive sample or I prefer a more assuring feeling of my phone. I used to think my phone feels ok until I picked up the sprint version. I certainly like a thin phone, but the original creaking back just doesn't give me a secure feeling when I handle it lol.
I'd take thinner any day. Sprint's version could be indestructible and that wouldn't be enough to bring me back to them.
Mine doesn't creak.

Mine doesn't creak at all...it did with the OEM flip case from AT&T...but since I put my original back back on it doesn't and now that I got my Seidio case on as well...it's a non-issue all together for me..
I suggest if it bothers you this much...take it back and get a replacement for it. You can also try some other backs on it and see how they feel to you and if it stops the noise.
FWIW...I handled the Sprint's version before and after I got mine at one of their stores...I couldn't tell any difference in the sample there and my own in feel or operation..so perhaps you do have a defective one..
