Thanks for them.. Would you like to be an Information Finder? Because of all these things you have helped me a lot (Made my work from 58 to 52!) so I would have liked if you want to join.
And I don't mind whether someone has a tag "Junior Member" because I also had that once..

Don't worry. The 14 toggle status I was working on is now almost complete. Resizing is getting tooooo difficult as I am going through a lot of problems with Photoshop. Some pics go easily whereas some get distorted.
That problem is only with my PC... Dat is why I want more an more ppl.
EDIT - And you are in for tester,.

Can't believe no one has posted about this yet

Apparently tcp has developed a complete booting ics kernel from source
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=etQxrNT722U
That's because we all know TCP is an excellent developer and we are grateful to have him with us.

You mean like this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1643585
TCP is a prime example of how it should be done. He used others work in with his own to further development for this device and then credited the people that helped him along the way. This is how it should always be done.
Nice!

The only progress with source on an ics kernel that I'm aware of publicly is linked above. If you're talking about gingerbread, that is completely different than this kernel.

Not at all. The development community is all about team work. It is also about giving credit where its due. TCP does both. I am being serious about what I said. It shows true character for TCP to take on a project like this and then to conduct himself the way he does.

You said in another post that you had "kanged " Scott's kernel. I have to say I don't believe you "kanged" anything. If you had then you would have claimed all the credit for yourself. Your OPs have credits for all that has helped and made contributions no matter how small. To me that isn't kanging. That's sharing and working together. That's what I meant by what I said. I'm serious when I say your setting an example of how things should be done. Well done sir.

New Samsung Galaxy S III Android 4.1 Jellybean ROM Ideas

I wont be able to create this ROM unless I get enough donations release project, so please support!
Our plans are to pay for a team that will create a User Interface very similar to iOS 6 and then me and my programming team will program it over our custom android 4.1 port.
We are only looking for $100 to release the beta. The donations will be used to host the server for the BETA release. Anyone who donates will get a direct link first for maximum download speed.
Current Donations: $60 / $100
I have decided to port Jellybean 4.1 to the Samsung Galaxy S III.
I made this thread to look for ideas on tweaks/custimizations I should make to my ROM.
Hopefully this ROM will be completed in the next week or two.
If you are interested in testing this rom comment below.
ROM Status: Ported & Waiting to release a beta w/o the custom UI.
What do donations have to do with porting something?
I would love to test it out
Will I be guaranteed that donations won't be going towards buying cookies?

I am getting a group of friends to help me creat this rom. We are going to make it the best rom ever, to do that we might have to hire some extra programming to help us work on the code/design the UI etc. We can only do that if we get donations from our supporters!
So let me get this straight. You have 3 posts and you want people to donate to you in the hopes that you port a ROM. In asking you provide virtually no detail of what you're working on. I'll get right on that donation.

Yes, the first donations are going to be going out to purchase some more formal user interface directory designers. We are building this ROM from the ground up (other than the initial port). We want to do it right.

We are actually thinking about basing our custom UI on iOS, that is why we need to port 4.1 and create the code in a way that we can easily match it with a UI like iOS.
We tried to do port of the iOS UI, but that failed completely. We decided to spend money and do it right.

Demanding donations for a project is against the spirit of XDA

[ROM][OFFCIAL][NIGHTLIES] Vanilla RootBox [Feb, 21st, 2013]

As you know, Bajee11 has decided to close his thread due to amount of immaturity in his thread, and I support his decision.
I do however, believe his ROM is 110% amazing, so I've downloaded the source for RootBox and built it.
3 things to make a note of before I begin this thread...
1. If Bajee isn't comfortable with this thread at any point and time, I will close it.
2. Flaming will not be tolerated, I will report you, there are greatful users and they shouldn't suffer for foolishness.
3. I will not build every night, it depends on progress. But once a week for sure. If Bajee11 decides to reopen his thread, this will close.

Upon further inspection, I synced maybe right before this was said. Also, I don't think he has pushed it yet. When he does, I'll sync again and release the next nightly. (Unless of course he wishes to release it)
Pretty cool to do all this and release it for public, but may I ask why you don't ask before you release?

I messaged him. Normally source is available because its supposed to be used and most devs are cool if you link to sources, and give credit (I'm not kanging or anything). If there is a problem with anything, he will let me know via PM and this thread will be gone in an instant. I'm not modifying any of the files, leaving them directly as I got them from the repo, just trying to do my part. This ROM was too good to let die because of some flamers, I hope you understand.
