Smart Device Manager - Where can I freeze it/Uninstall it - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Nevermind, I glanced over it. What would have allowed it to be force installed over the air? I had froze the sprint installer applications.

Perhaps you have the market set to auto-update. I don't have this app installed but it's in my update tab in the market

[Q] Make web downloaded apllication on MY APPS playstore

Hello,
Here is my problem:
Sometimes I installed an apllication not from playstore but from web(manual apk).
Is there a way so the list of that applications which I download from web appear in MY APPS on the playstore so I could know if there any update for the applications??
As you know if we installed application in play store, it will appear in MY APPS that we will easier to know every time there is an update for the application.
U can use Titanium backup, long press on app, from menu select "attach to market".

[Q] Disable auto-updates without market

It just drives me crazy to have apps auto update especially on expensive data. For some reason my stock market doesn't work anymore at all in my phone, I tried to install a fresh download of market but still wont help so I removed it permanently from system apps and the phone became free of the so many force-close errors I was getting with most apps and runs very smoothly. I usually get apps through apk downloader. Am using sdext2 for the installed apps. Is there anyway of disabling apps from automatically updating themselves but have internet access for social media apps?
Problem solved, I got a terminal command that does it perfectly.
mod you can delete this now

new ota taken and Playstore fix.

Before I updated my ftv by re-enabling the update service or deleting the hosts file entry I performed the following tasks.
a. uninstalled modules in xposed app and xbmc launcher module from within xposed app.
b. uninstalled or basically disabled xposed cababilities from "within" the xposed appliction and rebooted for settings to take effect. (I left xposed apk installed)
c. uninstalled all root apps that autostarted like drive mount, ssh-ftp server, landscape orientation app etc.
d. after taking the ota I then re-rooted with towelroot.apk and reinstalled and enabled evertything from steps a through c again.
This may not have been necessary but I did not want to take the straight update as is since it has only been out less than 24hrs.
The google playstore was not working. I then reinstalled all 4 playstore apks required. one of the tab choices when reinstalling 2 of the apks was "new" or "all" under the [rights] section of the app before clicking the "install" tab for the apps. first time through I selected "new" which did not work and playstore would not start up. selecting "all" corrected this issue. Hope this helps.

Can't Uninstall Apps from Play Store (and more frequent app update/install failures)

Hi there,
Recently I saw that I cannot uninstall apps from the Google Play store. Usually when viewing an app that is installed on my device, there are options for "open" or "uninstall".
The "uninstall" option is not present right now. I noticed this only a day ago (relative to the post date of this post)
The only major changes I know I have made to my device are that I moved a few apps to the "2nd partition" of the SD card via Link2SD, and I put a large amount of videos on the main partition of my SD card (though I don't know why this would affect Google Play not being able to uninstall stuff)
I have a rooted Tab S running stock (no custom ROMs), and I am running Lollipop and have disabled OTA updates
Any ideas?
I am in the same boat RE missing the uninstall option in Google Play Store. I even did a clean re-install of the ROM (IronRom 2.5) I'm using, with no success.
Hopefully the option reappears again soon. It's a pain to have to uninstall via settings.
EDIT: Also having the same issue on my old Motorola Xoom tablet that my daughter is now using - running OmniRom 4.4.4.
Have you done anything like moving apps using Link2SD or anything?
I think this could be a cause for this problem...
I recently uninstalled Link2SD from my device and since then the Uninstall option has come back in Google Play

Game killer as a system app

I have installed game killer for testing purposes on my device (Rooted with SuperSu and TWRP Recovery Samsung Galaxy Tab S3) as a system app using lucky patcher because game killer couldn't recognise or list any of my apps/games. Now that im done with it and want to uninstall it, it doesn't want to get uninstalled. I have tried also removing it from a system app but lucky patcher can't find it and it isn't on the list. Is there a way to uninstall game killer? (Maybe a flash from TWRP recovery?)(I have also tried uninstalling it with those "System app uninstaller" apps from Google Play store but they didn't work either.
