[Q] Can't send message right now. Too many many unsent multimedia messages - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

The thread title is the error I'm getting. This, from what I can tell, is not the wifi issue.
I'm stock, rooted and I use GoSMS.
I have noticed recently that when I try to send a picture message that is the large clear resolution that is shows up pending for a long time and eventually wont send, probably due to it's large size. To resolve this, I have started doing the smallest resolution, and thus smallest size when I know I'm going to be sending it to someone.
This works to make sure it get sent, if it decides it can. I get the "Can't send message right now. Too many many unsent multimedia messages" To try and fix it I close GoSMS and all other apps, but usually it takes a reboot to get it to go through. There shouldn't be any messages trying to send, as they will usually give an error saying the message couldn't be sent. I don't like to delete messages so I have one thread with 8000+ messages, mix of sms and mms, so going through and deleting all of the sent messages isn't really an option.
I cannot replicate the problem right now to test and see if using the stock messaging app would fix the problem.
Is there some folder or something that stores the pending outgoing messages that I could look at and see the "unsent multimedia messages" are that cause this error?
Is there some other underlying issue, some kind of buffer, relationship between received mms and sending, or anything else like this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Unable to send MMS

Im trying to send a picture, under 300k to someone else but keeps giving me an unable to send error with an envelope at the top with an exclamation point through it. I also seen something asking me if I wanted to stop the current connection to send.
Anyone running into this problem or know how to fix it?
In order to send/download MM messages, the current active connection may be closed (this may affect other applications in use) Do you want to continue?
Then it it asks me to either HIDE or Menu, with Yes or No in it.
Any help would be appreciated. Im getting MMS's from others, can send pics via email and upload to Facebook, its sending out is what the problem is
well i tried sending a picture message to my buddy who has att or sprint, i am verizon, i pressed send and walked away, came back turned the screen on and had a notification saying that it failed. however he still got the message. this is the only one i have tried, as i don't send pics a lot. so i take people aren't getting your pics even though it says they fail?
Thanks for replying. Im a TMOBILE customer and on one of the pages around here, lol, I found a thread where I had to go in and change the address in the MMS settings to where it was going. If you are a TMOBILE customer and have any problems, let me know, I can walk you through how to set it up without issue, plus the 6.5 has a quick uploader for Facebook, much easier than sending a picture or video as an email

SMS Sending failure

Apologies if this has been in here before, couldn't find my issue with a quick search.
Right, basically the issue I'm having is that for some of my contacts, when I try to reply to a text it won't send. This isn't the error I've seen before of numbers not being formatted properly and a failure to deliver message, it's different: When I receive a text and compose a reply, nothing happens when I hit send! Te send box lights up, so it knows I've pressed it, but nothing happens (is if it were never pressed at all). The message still just sits there in the compose box waiting to be sent. The only work around is to save it to drafts and then reselect the recipient and send it from there.
Now, I have yet to try an alternative SMS app, or troubleshoot my installed apps. I'll do that if no one else has come across the problem before.
Is this a problem other people have experienced or is it just down to my individual set up?
Any help much appreciated, thanks!

[Q] Text message problem...help

So I seem to have a messaging problem I cannot figure out. I can't pinpoint exactly when it started happening but it was around the time I installed CM7 RC1 or nightly 38...
I only get my messages in bunches some time after they are sent. Its like after a while multiple texts get pushed through, just not when they were sent from the person. Sometimes i get multiple texts in the wrong order. I've also figured out the only way to get the texts to come through is when i call someone. Once i call someone, multiple texts push through.....really strange
Its like the phone has to actively access the network before is receives text messages...
I have no clue what this could be, any suggestions
Similar issue
I loaded the same Rom but it appears if I send out a txt with multiple recipients only one recipient gets it.

group text message

so ive tried handcent, gosms and pansi and all seem to have the same problem.
When ever i try to send a group text message i get an undelivered error message. Now weather its because a contacts number is incorrect or what ever other reason no one else in the group will get the message.
Is there a limit to how many recipients i can send a message? On my evo i couldnt add any more than 40.
This is getting rather frustrating especially being that i am pass my 14 day trial period on this phone. Im starting to think i shouldve waited for the HTC One to come out
Try Group SMS free. It allows you to send through your normal carrier or a Google voice account....which is free texting. I use it all the time!
Hope this helps.
ok ive downloaded the app mentioned but cant figure out how to forward a message. I tried copying from the phones messenger app but wont let me paste, and this app wont allow me to view my messages.

[Q] MMS not sending all the sudden

I'm on most recent firmware and most recent CM10.1 nightly and suddenly MMS pics will no longer send. It tries to send but then fails with messages "message not sent" and "service not activated on network"
This has never happened before and happened all the sudden yesterday. I had sent one pic that did work, then a few minutes later I tried another and it failed in this manner, as have all further attempts. I even deleted all of my sms/mms messages thinking there was something wrong with the messaging program. No help. What it APPEARS is happening is that instead of the program sizing the images down to an attachment-friendly size, it is trying to send the full ~2MB jpegs and it would seem that is too big for MMS. But if this is the case, I have no idea why it would have started doing this all the sudden.
Is there anything in the messaging or gallery programs that I can reset or refresh that might help this?
Thanks

If you can send a SMS (simple text message) then all you need to do is have your provider take you out, and then reinsert you into the network. SOMETIMES, sending a picture to yourself after a battery removal boot can get things going too.....
You also could try the basic and use app manager and clean out the cache of whatever app you're using to send the MMS msg, and retry it. Remember, the MMS takes a while longer to send vice the SMS transmission.
Good Luck!
