hi everyone; my galaxy nexus is rooted and i'm trying to learn clockworkmod and i have e been format system, cache and data.. and my phone is not boot the anroid i press the power button screen is GOOGLE and padlock logo but no boot What should I do

is this a joke or what?
u formatted everything (included system where the OS is installed)...what do u expect to boot now? u deleted everything in ur phone
flash a rom

Oh boy... Here we go again... Sorry to be an ass but read people READ before go messing with your multi hundreds dollar/euro phone! And don't use the B word.
Flash a ROM and be sure to read what you should do, in what order, what the risks are and how NOT to do it. There is a huge information source right on these forums but try to give it some effort yourself.
/* end rant */
Now go to the devellopment section, read all stickies and if you then don't succeed: ask again.

why would you think formatting system is a good idea? would you format your C: drive on your computer like that?
the good news is your phone is not bricked, you need to learn to use fastboot and reinstall android.

Welcome to XDA, next time a search would have gotten you the information you were looking for.
The good news is, you're not bricked. Boot into recovery manually, mount USB and attach your phone to your computer. From there you can drop a rom into your phones storage and flash.
Take some time and read through some of the threads. Starting with the pinned ones at the top of the page.

FLASHING a rom 101:
Switch off phone
Boot to RECOVERY mode by pressing the Volunme buttons and POWER button simultaneously .
Scroll the Volume button down till you see “RECOVERY MODE ” . Then press POWER button to select.
The phone will boot into Recovery mode and you will see the RECOVERY menu.
Using the vol buttons , scroll up or down to and perform the following actions :
Press POWER button to activate your choice
- Clear cache partition
- At Advanced – select it and choose Clear Dalvik Cache
- Select ” wipe data/factory reset” ( Read the NOTES below on this step )
- GO Back and select ” Install zip from SD card” – than select ” Choose zip from SDcard” . You will see a list of all your files in the SDcard – use the volume button to scroll up or down and select the rom zip file . Press POWER button to select it
Your phone will start to flash the new rom
Wait for process to finish and phone will reboot successfully into the new rom. This process will take 2-3 minutes to complete
NOTES : Most rom developers will advise you to wipe phone , ie clear data/factory reset when flashing their upgraded roms or new roms. The main reason is to avoid bugs or unnecessary force closures and all such reports with phone wipe clean will enable the rom developers a more accurate assessment of your issues. However this step is really unnecessary if you are flashing among roms of same build ( eg 4.0.3). It is advisable to wipe clean if you are moving from say 4.01 or 4.0.2 to 4.0.3. Anyway if you did not wipe phone clean and you faced continual rebooting , than last option is switch off phone. Boot back to recovery mode, select clear data/factory reset and reboot system
You use the same method if you just need to flash KERNEL only. Just copy the kernel zip file into phone and follow same procedures. NO need to clear data/factory reset if you are flashing kernel only...

thank u everyone i solve the problem using galaxy nexus root toolkit v1.3 i press flash stock + unlock and my phone is workin sorry guys but thank u

Read before messing with your phone please.

It is a little late but with search you will find this thread easily.
you can just flash a recovery with fastboot no problem at all.
then boot to recovery and flash what ever u want.

Yo. Don't go formatting stuff unless Instructed to.
And also have a rom ready if you do this. If you would like a place where all the roms are I'll send you a link.
Are you a CDMA sprint or Verizon???
Or a GSM???

Can't help that much: can't read arabic !
There was a ROM specifly built to use arabic: http://www.ce4arab.com/vb7/showthread.php?t=234471, but seems development is stopped. Still do not know, homepgae is in arabic with some little things in english.
Maybe also some other ROMs still in development in here would give you arabic language, but you'll have to search and sneak by yourself to find the one.
If by chance you find one which give you all you need, maybe a simple post in here would help some other people looking for the same thing.

Please Help!!! phone keeps looping after flashing ROM ICS by JM HTC WILDFIRE BUZZ

Hi All
Sorry for my bad English
I wanted to flash the following rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626331
but after flashing my phone keeps rebooting (looping on on boot)
On the same thread I came across a solution that creating a partition through recovery >> advance will fix the looping issue. But no matter which option is select in recovery menu the screen goes blank with REVOLUTIONARY logo in the center.
please HELP !!!
I flashed the rom through ROM MANAGER app in market
I have flashed other roms before and they worked fine but this one didn't.
Thanks in advance
Use the trackball to select, not power button.

I'm able to select the option from menu but when I select advanced (or any other option from menu) and press the power button the enter it comes up with REVOLUTIONARY logo
Please help, Im not sure what to do now
Like I said use the trackball (little circular button on the bottom) to select. Not the power button.

I think what Lesicnik1 meant was: you use the power button to select recovery in HBOOT. In Clockworkmod you should use the trackball to select - not the power button
(although I remember slightly you could set the other too - but I'm not sure)
--- EDIT ---
On the other hand - if you already flashed other ROMs you should be used to that.
So if that's not your problem: have you tried to reflash this - or a different ROM? Besides that CM9 is officially experimental bootloops often are caused by not wiping caches. It's also a good idea to format system before flashing a totally different ROM.

I'm able to select the advanced option and I also created a partition EXT size 512 SWP size 0 but my phone is still not booting it keeps looping.
I have also noticed that very time I partition my SD card it gets completely formatted (even deleting the Zip file)
I have always been using the ROM manager app to install it worked fine but this rom keeps looping
should I partition and then install the Zip file or the other way ?
Am I doing any thing wrong .
Thanks again @Lesicnik1 and @eventcom
Partitioning the SD card does format it.
Do this.
Partition SD Card (not needed if you already did)
Go back to the main menu of the recovery
Mounts and Storage
Wipe Data
Wipe System
Connect USB cable to phone
Mount USB Storage
Put ROM's .zip file on
Re-flash ROM
I see (haven't read carefully) not an ICS ROM - just ICS style. If you used to have a CM ROM before wiping system shouldn't be necessary (but it wouldn't harm also) - I always do the following when flashing a new ROM: format system, wipe cache, flash the new ROM, flash GApps. The requirements of the thread say furthermore: "Wipe Dalvik,Cache and Data" - so first: have you done that?
Do you use custom mtd partitions on your phone? (as you always have to reflash the bravo-boot-file afterwards...)

Root guide for Byond MI Book MI3 (CWM recovery and ROM DUMP included)

First things first:
1. Rooting essentially means you are fiddling with the installed OS. This may at times turn ugly and may result in permanent bricking of your phone (simple terms: your device will be dead, wont boot up).
2. Most companies do not entertain warranty claims for a rooted device, obviously because you have unlocked their software.
Ready to take the above risks?? Read On:
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
ROOTING GUIDE:
1. Charge your device to 100%
2. Go to settings/development and check the USB debugging mode to : Enabled.
3. If you have never ever connected your device to PC, connect it via USB cable. You will see that the drivers for your device will get installed.
4. Download UnlockRoot Pro v3.2 (free version) from : http://www.unlockroot.com/download.html
5. Run UnlockRoot.
6. Click root device on left panel of the UnlockRoot UI.
7. Wait till it says : your device is rooted.
8. Your device 'may' restart. Let it restart.
9. Check for 'Superuser' app in your app drawer.
10. Can you see 'Super User' app?? Congo!! Your device is now rooted.
Hey Wait !! Since you are now rooted. You can now install ClockWorkMod recovery on your device. With all the tinkering you will now do on your device, since its rooted, it becomes very important to install a 'System Backing up' tool on you phone. Every time you want to fiddle with your system, make a back up of your entire device (includes OS/Settings/Apps/Data) on an external SD card; so that if something goes wrong, you can restore your backup and your device will be good again (just like recovery point system in Windows OS).
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
INSTALLING CWM and MAKING BACKUP.
1. Be doubly sure that your phone is rooted and charged to 100%.
2. Download CWM.zip file from the attachments at the end of this post.
3. Transfer the CWM.zip file to the external memory card on you device, with the help of USB cable.
4. Switch off your device.
5. Press power + volume (-) button together until you see an android logo. The moment you see the logo, release the buttons.
6. You will next see an android bot logo, with his heart ripped and and exclamation mark on it. He's heart broken that you are fiddling with him.
7. Dont freak out. Now press volume (-) button again and you will see the default recovery manager.
8. Scroll down by pressing volume (-) button, to 'install zip from ext card' option.
9. Select this option by pressing volume (+) button.
10. A new window will open.
11. Scroll down to install from 'external storage' option. Press volume (+) button to select.
12. A new window showing all contents of your SD card will come up.
13. Scroll down and select CWM.zip file. Press volume (+) button to select.
14. The zip will get installed. A new windows will open up showing the CWM recovery manager.
15. Congo !
16. Now lets take 1st backup of your System. Scroll down to backup/restore option and press power button to select.
17. Scroll down to backup and select. Backing up will start. Once finished you will be redirected to the home window of CWM.
18. Now. Scroll down to reboot system option. Press POWER button to select.
19. Your system will shut down. Manually boot up your device again.
* Be careful with the controls for 'scroll' and 'select' in default and CWM recovery. Both are different. Follow the above instructions carefully. * Every time you want to back up/restore your system you have to repeat the above steps. I have not flashed the default recovery with the CWM, so that you always have the stock recovery working, in case everything else fails.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
TO RESTORE A SYSTEM IMAGE YOU CREATED EARLIER WITH CWM.
1. Follow steps 1 - 15 in the above tut.
2. Once you are in CWM recovery. Scroll down to backup/restore option and press power button to select.
3. Scroll down to 'Restore' option and select.
4. Choose the backup image you want to restore. Press power button to select.
5. System restore will start and finish.
6. Reboot.
Always do a backup before you try to uninstall any system app. Never uninstall any app about which you are not sure, what it does. Follow your gut feeling.

This problem has been occuring in all mi3 tablets. I had contacted ByondTech Customer Support.
NO NEED TO ROOT TABLET FOR THIS PROBLEM.
They emailed me an update patch which again enabled Google Account access.
update.zip
Select and apply the update.zip file. [For steps check the first post for applying CWM. Similar steps just instead of CWM.zip here file name is update.zip]
Reboot and then you will be able to access Google AC, Play Store, Gmail, etc.
Thanks a lot for Update.zip

Byond Mi1 - Lying Android Bot with exclamation mark
Hello,
my topic doesn't fit perfectly, but after pressing the home and power button on the Mi1 for a few seconds, I have an Android Bot lying on his back with an exclamation mark above him.
Since the Mi1 has only a power button, a home button and a reset button, I don't know how to get it out of this state. If anyone has experienced this, and has a cure, I would be more than happy to hear about it.
I went to the local Byond support center, but they were actually not a support center anymore, they said. And searches on the net only found the same questions, but no answers. Before I try to run to other support centers in the bigger cities, I would like to try my luck here.
Thanks for listening

Hi Ejazr,
When you finish with aroma press the back key, then select advanced (the last option, in the bottom), and there you'll find the option reboot recovery, select it, then follow with the wifi modules etc.
Good luck.

My device is Xperia Arc S. Already unlock bootloader. Already root and install X-part for CWM.
next time read the instructions provided by the ones who posted whatever it is that you have downloaded.
> after using FlashTool to flash the kernel restart your phone.
> then right at the moment you see the kernel's logo on the screen press any of
the hardware buttons of your phone repeatedly until your phone enters recovery
mode.
> inside the recovery mode choose "install update zip" or something like that,
then choose the .zip file you wish to install, in this case, its the CM10.1 LX ROM
that you have downloaded. wait until it is done.
> then wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.
> restart the phone.
for more details i suggest that you go back and read the instruction provided in the thread where you saw that ROM, and use the search function for tutorial on how to properly install ROMS and Kernel and what not.
