[ROM][AOSP][4.0.4] CM9 Kang *Updated 6/12 6:40pm* - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

This is CM9 Alpha for the Sprint Nexus. There might be bugs.
The is a build of CM9 that I compiled and thought I would share. It has pulls from gerrit in it. This is kind of like a Nightly build but with more experimental stuff in it.
Pulls from gerrit and other modifications:
File Manager
A few Launcher Speed Tweaks
File Manager should work like a ICS app now.
Home Button animation tweak. Credit to CrushD for finding it.
Fix don't interrupt ongoing PIN/PUK verification
Uses 4.0.4 props
Increased video recording quality.
Make notifications consistent with the Gapps'.
Hide Buttons completly during fullscreen do this to prevent burn in on OLED devixes and also to get a cleaner look
Secret sauce from Franco. Should increase performance.
frameworks: new effect sounds contributed by "Dennis Cleiren"
Lockscreen background customization
Power Widget: Add toggle profile button
Weather : Autosync upon network connection
Lock screen weather: Simplified 'no-data' layout & refresh indicator
Settings : Verify weather prior to saving
Changes in 6/12 build:
Linaro stuff added in!
bootanimation: performance enhancements
Brightness toast panel - dialog displayed showing brightness when using statusbar brightness control
LockscreenTarget : Switch to dp from px for insets
Status Bar Brightness Control Padding
Browser: Remove duplicate actions from overflow menu when using quick controls
Fix occasional completely mute incoming call
Mms: added the option to change the soft keyboard type when composing messages
Port bug fixes from webkit to plug leaks
LatinIME: Option to reverse volume key logic on cursor control
add some cdma missing prop to toroplus
A few other things that were merged in.

That's just how the Galaxy Nexus is. Raise the brightness up a little bit and it's fixed.

Works really well so far.
-Roaming indicator, as mentioned.
-Any settings made under the "display" settings menu don't persist after reboot (notification light, custom display levels, etc.)
-Runs really well with Lean Kernel

Rooting the phone now...will be flashing this momentarily!

For some reason, mms send has proven more difficult than it should be. The problem appears to span across all aosp variants at this time. It is being heavily researched as a type. Wtf is mms still in existence for anyway?! Somebody please bury mms 6 ft under. Ugh.

I actually get a boot loop after flashing this. I have removed a lot of things from the rom so I will just chalk it up to that. Looks nice though.

Awesome thanks for the feedback. My goal with this is not to get too over the top with ui design, and also not take too much away from the stock layouts/elements. However i like darker elements jere and there and also a bit of color to notification icons. I have a few things on my to do list for this but requests are completely welcomed as well. Thanks again

After browsing some info about about paid themes and playstore links the op has been modified to remove my direct link. I dont want any trouble so i choose to comply. Thank you very much. Im glad there is some people using it, keeps me driven to update and improve. Speaking of, id like to get another update out in the next few days so if theres anything anyone would like to request now would be the time. Cant make any promises but all will be considered, and possibly added in future updates. After that im going to focus most of my time on my other theme ive been putting together. Id say i need about 2 weeks to get it in form for an initial release. At that point time will be divided between the two for updates. Thank you all again for the encouragement and feedback. A special thank you to those who have purchased, i have not checked the developer console stats to see who you are yet, but if you did, sincerely thank you. It really is appreciated, but never demanded.

DELETED

Lock/delete please
How to submit a bug.
When you submit a bug you want to make sure that nothing from your side is causing it.
Otherwise I might be hunting a bug which doesn't really exist.
The best way to achieve this is by doing the following.
Make a nandroid backup.
Perform a full wipe (factory reset + wipe /system)
Now we have two different ways depending on what kind of problem do you're having.
--When you're having a problem with a ROM function flash just the ROM without GAPPS etc. and boot back into the system. You will boot directly onto the homescreen.
--When you're having a problem with a 3rd party app in combination with our ROM then flash the ROM and GAPPS.
Boot now back into the system. You will boot to the setup wizard.
Log in to your Google account but make sure that you untick "Restore from my Google Account to this phone/tablet".
Finish the setup and open the playstore and download only the app you're having problems with.
Start a logcat recording and reproduce the bug (if possible more than once) while taking the logcat. If you don't know how to get a logcat read this tutorial or this.
Post the logcat in a txt file or on pastebin (this is important because you otherwise clog up the threads with your log) in the correct thread.
Please also write detailed how we can reproduce the bug.
Restore your backup from point 1 and wait for a fix (don't ask for ETAs).

http://d-h.st/qEC <- for now, after you flash it on verizon, you have to flash this http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/general/flashable-zip-switch-roms-tuna-devices-t2362644 in order it for to work on Vzw. launcher fc's when hitting home but when you hit home again it works. I saw that happening in a review, I assume just using alternative touchwiz launcher works, saw it in your thread. Also it seems to want to stay in "roaming" although it does get signal. Roaming is disabled and everything. Despite all of that, Rom is working fine and runs smooth.

I would be interested in testing this... is the mail app in there? I like the native subfolder sync that the TouchWiz mail app has.
Also, is this 4.2 or .2.2?

It needs touchwiz framework this is just themed along with the lock screen its cm base it clearly says cm10 which is 4.1.2 reason I left it at 4.1.2 is because of the toggles and the lockscreen

So far Samsung sync crashes, But other than that it is working good.

To center it you go to settings
Then you go to lock screen settings
and you will see an option that says clock
alignment then with that you center the clock

Taking this for a ride and it's running pretty snappy.
I have a small question though, I noticed after installing all my aps that when the Maps ap was loaded it usually loads the Nav ap
This isn't the case here, And I was wondering is this just missing or do I have to use the maps to navigate to a location?
Thanks for the work
EDIT: NM Just read the NEW Maps contain the entry point and does away with the separate Nav icon shortcut
You can reach the Nav thru Maps
Anyone having any major issues? Stable enough for a daily rom? Thinking about giving this a shot. 4.3 isn't that spectacular.

I've been running this from the start and it's been running fine.
Give it a try.

Have you tried calling anyone and does the lockscreen work I don't really now since I don't own the Verizon gnex
Sent From The Third Nexus
So far the only issues I'm seeing are with the toggles. I can't get the LTE one to show up, and the torch one doesn't work. The torch app does work, however.
Thanks for the great ROM.
