How to submit a bug.
When you submit a bug you want to make sure that nothing from your side is causing it.
Otherwise I might be hunting a bug which doesn't really exist.
The best way to achieve this is by doing the following.
Make a nandroid backup.
Perform a full wipe (factory reset + wipe /system)
Now we have two different ways depending on what kind of problem do you're having.
--When you're having a problem with a ROM function flash just the ROM without GAPPS etc. and boot back into the system. You will boot directly onto the homescreen.
--When you're having a problem with a 3rd party app in combination with our ROM then flash the ROM and GAPPS.
Boot now back into the system. You will boot to the setup wizard.
Log in to your Google account but make sure that you untick "Restore from my Google Account to this phone/tablet".
Finish the setup and open the playstore and download only the app you're having problems with.
Start a logcat recording and reproduce the bug (if possible more than once) while taking the logcat. If you don't know how to get a logcat read this tutorial or this.
Post the logcat in a txt file or on pastebin (this is important because you otherwise clog up the threads with your log) in the correct thread.
Please also write detailed how we can reproduce the bug.
Restore your backup from point 1 and wait for a fix (don't ask for ETAs).

Too quiet in here for this to be a CM10 ROM. Must be because Slim bean is running so well. That's the only reason I haven't given this a try.

[ROM][AOSP][4.0.4] CM9 Kang *Updated 6/12 6:40pm*

This is CM9 Alpha for the Sprint Nexus. There might be bugs.
The is a build of CM9 that I compiled and thought I would share. It has pulls from gerrit in it. This is kind of like a Nightly build but with more experimental stuff in it.
Pulls from gerrit and other modifications:
File Manager
A few Launcher Speed Tweaks
File Manager should work like a ICS app now.
Home Button animation tweak. Credit to CrushD for finding it.
Fix don't interrupt ongoing PIN/PUK verification
Uses 4.0.4 props
Increased video recording quality.
Make notifications consistent with the Gapps'.
Hide Buttons completly during fullscreen do this to prevent burn in on OLED devixes and also to get a cleaner look
Secret sauce from Franco. Should increase performance.
frameworks: new effect sounds contributed by "Dennis Cleiren"
Lockscreen background customization
Power Widget: Add toggle profile button
Weather : Autosync upon network connection
Lock screen weather: Simplified 'no-data' layout & refresh indicator
Settings : Verify weather prior to saving
Changes in 6/12 build:
Linaro stuff added in!
bootanimation: performance enhancements
Brightness toast panel - dialog displayed showing brightness when using statusbar brightness control
LockscreenTarget : Switch to dp from px for insets
Status Bar Brightness Control Padding
Browser: Remove duplicate actions from overflow menu when using quick controls
Fix occasional completely mute incoming call
Mms: added the option to change the soft keyboard type when composing messages
Port bug fixes from webkit to plug leaks
LatinIME: Option to reverse volume key logic on cursor control
add some cdma missing prop to toroplus
A few other things that were merged in.

For some reason, mms send has proven more difficult than it should be. The problem appears to span across all aosp variants at this time. It is being heavily researched as a type. Wtf is mms still in existence for anyway?! Somebody please bury mms 6 ft under. Ugh.

Changing clock in notification bar

Hey all I was looking at alternative Clock apps and found Timely and I was wondering if their is a way to make it the default clock app to open when I single click the clock in the status bar? If it's possible a quick how to would be awesome! Since the app can sync across all android devices, I want to apply the same setting to the status bar clock (if possible) on my Nexus 7 tablet (1 generation) as well. I'm running [ROM][SPH-D710][JB][4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 Official Nightly Builds on my phone and Official Cm10.1.3 on the Nexus 7. All help is much appreciated!
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Disclaimer: This is based on AOKP, I'm pretty sure it's this way under CM too, but not 100%, so I apologize if this doesn't work for you
Settings => Rom Control => Clock (under statusbar)
Then you can change the actions for clock short click, clock long click, and clock double click.

Tried this as well but the status bar just continuously force closes till I restore the clock
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
It requires to re-map the clock to the timely app, then. Which is beyond my knowledge.
Is the long-click stuff mentioned here helpful? https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/CYAN-962
Based on my linux skillz, it does seem like their should be some way to do this via symlinking, but I can't even find the clock app in the places the other apps seem to live, so I don't know how to go about doing this, sorry

Heh actually the guy was asking the same question as I am. The long press I already knew about I just want to click on the clock app and it use my clock. The forum also said what I knew that older versions of cm allowed it but for some reason 10.1 doesn't or at least I don't know how to access it

An Infamous Development

Thread Rules:
1. I am not responsible for any damage done to your phone, SD card or anything else. If you flash my rom your warranty becomes void.
2. DO NOT ASK FOR ETA’s (biggest pet peave on XDA)
3. Be friendly and supportive to other members =)
4. Do NOT compare roms in this thread. Devs put a lot of hard work into their roms for them to be criticized and have their work diminished by random XDA members.
5. If you like my work, please give me a good rating and thank me =)
6. MAKE SURE TO DO A FULL WIPE WHEN INSTALLING (unless told otherwise). If you don’t do a full wipe, I will not provide any support for whatever problems you have.
7. I’m still a noob at this so cut me some slack =P

FAQ
Where is the Deluxe Settings app for Jkay?
-Go to the Jkay Deluxe thread and download the apk linked from his thread. Not including the app in the rom as request by _JKay_ himself.

Which CPU drive do I choose for Viper sound mod?

What music players does Viper sound mod work with?
-I edited the build prop so that every music player (including YouTube, Pandora, etc…) will work out of the box.
Why did the clock turn a weird color when I installed a battery mod?
-Go into deluxe settings > Status bar > Battery Options > Use solid color and that will fix it!
Where can I find a full feature list of Jkay Deluxe?
-In the original Jkay Deluxe thread
Where can I get custom battery icons for Jkay Deluxe?
-Check the thread linked above, and look for the link a link to custom battery icons. They will install as Apk’s that you can uninstall any time you want.

* App Circle Bar
So, how to enable Lockscreen Notifications or Floating Windows?
For enabling Lockscreen Notifications, go to Settings/Security/Lockscreen/Notifications and touch to "enable".
For enabling App Circle Bar and optional Floating Windows, go to Settings/More... and tick "App Circle Bar". Touch to "Included Apps" and add your favorite apps to App Circle Bar. And if you touch right top corner of your device, you will see App Circle Bar. Spin the bar and select an app to open, if you want to open an app in floating window, long press to app icon in app circle bar and select floating mode option. You can open infinite apps/activities in floating window.
