I went in to best but today and picked up one if the best buy mobile magazines. I saw a picture of the Galaxy Nexus saying it was coming to Verizon but it was called the Nexus Prime in the magazine. It was priced $299 on contract and $799 without

That $799 off contract is just... wrong. And the Nexus Prime thing is an obvious placeholder. Why not take the magazine and give a pic to us?

LMAO @ the $799. that's why i don't do business with verizon. the big red are crooks and a half. and then some. and what's sad is people are being robbed willingly.

$799?! Ouch! I was going to wait until Best Buy or other US vendors get the GSM/HSPA+ version. But I may as well get one for $700 at Handtec right now.

I believe the $799 pricing is unsubsidized. It also says the rezound is $799 off contract which we know from vzw it is $649.99.

The 799 is the best buy price. It's always been that high for a non-contracted phone. To give you an example: Sprint has the EPIC 4G TOUCH S2 for $499 while best buy charges $699. But their subsidized pricing matches all carriers. and they even price match against all carriers.

I don't think you'll find them any cheaper. But if you want it you'd better hurry as there are only 4 left in stock and they sell em fast.

Pay the extra and get from negri or expansys so you have warranty. If you buy from Amazon or newegg you'll only have the return or maybe just exchange period as your warranty.

OK, I exaggerated. You get 15 days of warranty where you can exchange the phone. After that, you're left with a likely UK phone in the US trying to get support from Samsung. Ain't happening.

Still try again. Some of us ordered from expansys and negri for a reason. We might have to wait but we have warranty. Cheaper is not always better in this case. Thats why coreyl is laying down awesome customer service in the expansys thread.

Also because of expansys's exceptional customer service i am going to order my car dock from them. They goofed on some orders and coreyl went above and beyond making up for it. Ordering a couple accessories at a premium is the only other way to thank them.

Yeah I'm probably just gonna buy it from Negri again. They were top notch first time around. Just need to find a decent coupon now and I'll be good to go.

Guys does the LTE version can be unlocked and used with free sim all over the world ? im currently in the US but in my country we alredy have diffrent 4G providers, it should work then right?

Nope Verizon CDMA handset only. The GSM version would be required for elsewhere

Nope - you don't pay the UK taxes if you're buying it for immediate export - in other words, if you're getting it shipped directly to somewhere outside the EU...
Also, there is, or will be, a Euro/Asian version of the XL with global LTE frequencies.

depends on what stellar employee helps you out... some will im sure. they price matched me on my last phone $50 difference but got almost $40 in tax on top of it knocked off

Couldn't upgrade thru BB website last night.
Went to a local Best Buy this morning. No stock until next Friday (11/2). Same 299.99 for 2-year renewal. Tax will be like 60 some bucks.

wth do these cost so damn much more than a tablet with pretty much the same specs (gn10.1)?

On a whim yesterday, I stopped in a local Sprint store. Said they didn't know when it would be launched and wasn't expecting stock. About a mile away is another Sprint store. Stopped in there and they had 2.
Since I recently upgraded to the GS3, I wasn't able for upgrade pricing. They told me the stock was for upgrades only. After a few minutes of chatting, not only did they sell it to me, but they gave it to me for $570. :good:

Bestbuy.com has upgrade stock for 299 now.

It was not in the best buy ads. I got mine from bb on Friday because I saw the price online Thursday was 99. I tried looking through all the bb black Friday ads online and it was not listed in them that I could see. price is back at 199 online now

i got mine on the 18th and paid the 99$ too at best buy mobile. Didnt know about the sale, cause the day before i went to sprint and they were charging original 199$

The sale is not on anymore. but it is $99 on amazon wireless-http://wireless.amazon.com/LG-Optimus-Android-Phone-Sprint/dp/B00A0CJI9C- still trying to figure out how to buy it from amazon.

I have my letstalk pic for 139 though. And amazon is showing ship dates of January 9th probably to anticipate though for the holiday season.

How are you getting Sprint to price match? They wouldn't budge at all with mine. I even had a BB receipt from a friend who paid the $99!

Sprint wouldnt do anything for me as usual. My credit card has a policy that if anything I buy with it goes on sale for a lower price within a month they give me the difference but I have to have proof of the lower price
