Recommend a "full screen" protector? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

I'm looking for a screen protector that fully covers the front screen. I've indicated the most common areas that are not covered by various screen protectors out there:

I'd like at least areas A, C, and D covered. Can anyone recommend a good film for this? I don't want any of the soft films like BSE or Zagg that will easily indent with regular stylus use. Like most other users, I'd prefer something with minimal rainbow effect, good image clarity, and fingerprints that are easy to wipe off (I don't mind fingerprints but I'd like to be able ot easy wipe them off - oleophobic coatings are a bit extreme IMO). I've read a bunch of reviews here on xda and other forums of different SPs but each one seems to have one major drawback or doesn't cover the screen like I'd prefer. Any suggestions?

Anyone?

SGP GLAS.t. Hands down the best. Trust me I have tried them all and wasted too much money in the process.
It covers the areas you want, its oleophobic, and I have found absolutely no faults after 2 months.
Its a tad expensive, but you are paying for what you get, and that is the best.

Zagg InvisibleShield.

Best screen protector I have ever used and has a lifetime warranty.

thanks! i saw that mentioned a couple times by other people. i've just worried about the stylus responsiveness...did you notice any reduction in stylus accuracy?

I have a friend using spg glas t. It won' t affect the sensitivity. I want it for my note but its abit expensive for me.. But i would definitely save up for it coz its a good investment to protect our precious notes..

It was the one thing that made me sceptical as well, but it doesn't affect the SPen at all and I use it at least once a day.

thanks! worth a shot then instead of blowing money on the different softer SPs to find the "perfect" one

anything but the oleophobic sgp. Total waste of money. I got the exact same results from a £1 protector both in grease resistant property and screen visibility.

SGP Samsung Galaxy Note Screen Protector GLAS.t Premium Tempered Glass Series
Bought this "SGP Samsung Galaxy Note Screen Protector GLAS.t Premium Tempered Glass Series" yesterday, for 30 quid. First time I ever invested 30 quid for a screen protector. But its worth it.

I agree with all those that said the Glass.t. I installed it yesterday and its amazing. Full protection just as you want. The clarity is just fantastic. It is expensive but I'm sure it will last and keep your phone looking like new.

Yes, the package is a freaking story book for this damn screen protector. Right till now, this is the most expensive screen protector I have bought to date, and can be found only in gmarket so far. This is kind of like a hybrid matte/clear screen protector, where the matte layer is layered over the clear one slightly, and a protective coating on top of the layers if I understand it correctly.
I've been using it for 3 weeks, and I have to say this is one of the best screen protectors I have owned to date. The screen is smooth, not much clarity is sacrificed, cutting is great, and the best part is how EASY it is to wipe oil stains off the screen. When I wipe the screen with a cloth, I do not even have to use a single bit of strength. As instructed in the booklet, I just have to wipe the screen by circling with the cloth. 3 weeks into the usage, and I already like it a lot and would recommend it despite the high price.
This is not the most expensive I've ever paid for a screen protector, but it is close enough.
The 3M Estoc+ is indeed one of the best around. Easy to the touch and glide, the feel is almost powdery. Its readability and color clarity is on par with a glossy SP, saves there is no gloss at all. It is in fact matte!
I also find that it is suitably thick but not enough to hinder the sensitivity of the screen.
All in all, very good product.
Thanks, Vulpix, for introducing this to me and allowing me to join your purchase.
can you tell us how much did you pay for the screen protector (plus shipping cost to Singapore) ?
Thanks

Mine was shared with 2 others, it was around SG$26 per person after splitting the cost.
Wow....
...A really nice installation! Good work!!
My Copter display does not look as good as this one.

looks very nice but i will stick with my SGL GLAS (btw its more expensive) its absolutely the best and the most amazing screen protector.
Looks good, i can also highly recommend http://www.amazon.co.uk/SGP-Samsung...Q2WQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1314395567&sr=8-1 you can get this slightly cheaper on eBay, you would not even notice there is a screen saver on it

Ehhh, I had this before I put on the Estoc. The problem was the coating coming off after a few weeks, which prompted me to search for a new screen protector. I wouldn't bother with the Ultra Oleo.

I bought this from Amazon and the first day it got scratched. A big ugly one where the you could see a slice of rainbow effect. Not recommended! Might try Vikuiti or just get SGP Glass b/c it's sexy.
I want one of these but it is impossible to order on gmarket even with chrome translations etc. How did you guys order this? Is there a website user guide or somethin?
using it for 3 weeks, it really excellent. Not the most expensive screen protector i used, but certainly one of the best. Thank you Vulpix for ordering for me
Where did you get those from?
Same question...
I think that is the product:

Ok I will give it a shot at ordering. To save on shipping costs would anyone like to get a combined order in for the UK? I am in London so any takers, we could possible exchange number or summink and I can make this happen.

The term best is always subjective.
I did not find it on eBay
I am now curious and interested to try this protector, but at the same time apprehensive, as it is very hard to find or buy. 3M sells a lot of stuff in Canada, yet this product cannot be found on their website.
I am POISONED!!!!!
Went to G Market.. learn some korean.. *ahem.. google translator* and order 2 pc for myself.. waiting for delivery now.......

[Review] Fantom Tempered Glass Screen Protector

The idea of having the best and ultimate protection for our phones is great and luckily, X Gear had brought this to life with a tampered glass screen protector.
The screen protector was packaged up very nicely with its own separate box. A cleaning cloth was also included in the package.

Installation itself was really easy. What I did was peal of the first layer, which revealed the adhesive side, and aligned it properly according to the cutouts. After having it lined up, I just released the other portion of the screen protector. It stuck very nice and felt great.
The glass wasn't that thick at all; according to the website, it measures only .4mm thin. I had encountered a couple minor problems on my end, such as a decrease in touch sensitivity on the bottom half of the screen as well as a crack when I tried to rearrange the position of it. It might only be a defect with this particular screen protector but I am going to ask for a replacement and see if that helps at all.
After a couple weeks of using it, it provided a magnificent type protection that kept the actual screen's surface nice and clean, and I have to say it is worth the investment and trying it out.
Link to product: http://www.xgearlive.com/products/android/samsung/fantom
I have noticed that while the outer surface of the screen protector seems to be very scratch resistant the side with the adhesive seems to be easily scratched. when applying the SP i noticed some lint on the adhesive side of the SP so i used the provided MF cloth to clean the screen upon installing the SP i noticed a slight scratch. Despite this one minor nuisance i find that i am EXTREMELY satisfied with the Fantom SP, almost everyone that has seen my phone with the SP on has no idea by look or feel that i infact have an SP on the phone until I mention to them that there is a Tempered Glass SP on it.
I should also add that it fits perfectly with out any interference to the SGP Ultra Hybrid case that I use.
Thanks for the review, I'm definitely going to try one out for myself.

Nice Review! I'm tempted to buy one now.
i know there are some people that don't seem to have issues, but i'd highly recommend against this protector. it kills the touch sensitivity on the bottom half of the screen and nav bar. i had to remove mine last week due to the sensitivity issues. looks like you pay for return shipping & 20% return fee, too, if you find you don't like it. read this thread:

DBA Cases: Just Like Glass Review

Recived my DBA Just Like Glass screen protector and three words define it, it feels just like glass.

Immediately after installing onto my Galaxy S III, I can instantly feel how smooth the screen protector is; as if there was no screen protector at all my fingers just roll against it. Seamlessly
DBA stays true to what it saids for Just Like Glass, it repels against any oils or makeup etc.
I see no distorion to the touch pannel, nor oranage peel compared to other screen protectors
A truly unique feature of Just Like Glass is how it increase break reiestance to the touchscreen (not willing to try, but I do trust their word)
heres a video depicting how strong Just Like Glass is Just Like Glass
Only cons which are apparent to is:
How at times there will be a rainbow texture when the phone is off in certain lighting (rarely happens),I really do not like it but its not a huge problem - just noting it
Also how it does not fill the whole screen - due to the design of the Galaxy S III curved glass (not DBA's fault), I do relize there is design constrants but I still do wish it filled more the the front surface
In conclusion, Just Like Glass is the best screen protector on the market. There is some flaws but its overseen once you see the dozens of features it has compared to other screen protectors (Zagg,SGP etc. etc.). Just Like Glass is now replacing all ZAGG screen protectors on my devices as ZAGG is not even close to par on Just Like Glass grounds.
Overall I am extremely happy and satasfied with just like glass and reccmond a plunge into this new company as there is no chance of let down

Just like glass the worst product I ever bought
If I could give 0 I would. This product is of pure quality. Yes it probably does what it is supposed to do but adhesion property is terrible, I probably have installed at least 100 screen protectors, so I am not new to this. Yes it is smooth but it is ugly. Terrible fit on the screen, leaves some strange markings after a couple days, looks scratched up as well. Looks like a home made piece of plastic with cheap adhesive. A waste of money, Do not be fooled by some good reviews. This is the worst srcreen protector I have ever used and installed. I went back to steinhill and realized that it feels just as smooth and the build quality is a million times better than JLG. Just like glass is an unfinished product, the edges are terrible and the adhesive they use is low quality. Do not be fooled by the good reviews. I have installed hundreds of good screen protectors and I am not new to this. I asked for a refund and the company said they will ship me a replacement. Is this some kind of joke? I don't want this product. My phone is a Blackberry Z10 the cutouts are not precise, looks like a 7 year old cut it. I don't understand the good reviews.
Have you tried this?

Would be great if someone did a screen protector comparison of all the $1-$10 brands out there to see what, if any differences there are in actual use.
As long as it comes in a box so the protector can't become bent in shipping I imagine they're all quite similar.
mediadevil is fantastic, 2 screen protector for 9$
Amzer Kristal SP for N5 at Fommy
Well in my past experience with my older phones the major problem I used to face with the screen protectors was their cut out problems they dont have such fine cut outs and due to that it also creates problem at the time of installation and even result into bubbles......but this time I bought this Amzer Kristal Screen protector for my N5 , its a dry application and has very fine cut outs...no problem in the installation and believe me not a single bubble at all...
I am really happy to have it on my N5..it does not make any impact on the screen and its touch sensitivity...so far its working very fine and smooth....I got it from Fommy....for almost $ 7 - SHIPPED...which I would say quite worth one.....so you can just check it out once...may be you like this one because its better to take a good one rather than to go for these cheap ones because of some bucks discounts and all . As SPs can directly effect your screen and nobody likes to take any risk on it for sure...especially when they have their new and fav gadget in their hands .Can't say about all...But I will never.... ....I like this SP and my N5 both......
Thanks

Designed specifically for a fast, easy, 100% bubble-free application and made of the ultimate, high-quality invisible film
Protect screen from daily scratches, dust, scrapes, and normal signs of wear
Attaches quickly and smoothly with self-adhering surface, leaves no residue when removed
Includes: 1xBye-Bye Bubble Ultimate Screen Protectors, Micro-Fiber Cleaning Cloth, Squeeze card
Being the cheapskate I am, I was using a 1st gen Nexus 7 screen protector cut to fit the new Nexus 7. It's safe to say the amFILM screen protector was a step up.
First it's worth mentioning the screen protector was in a good stiff cardboard holder. Protects it from bends during shipping. It's good to see this as a lot of cheaper screen protectors are just sent in an envelope from ebay.
It comes with quite a bit of nice accessories. The microfiber is good in size and quality. It's better than the small cheap ones thats usually included. It also comes with a squeegee and lint remover/hinge stickers. The lint remover/hinge stickers are meant for any dust you can see on the screen before applying or used as a hinge for applying the film.
Also for the noobies to applying screen protectors, it has step by step directions for best results. The have instructions for 2 methods. Hinge method (what the stickers are for) and regular method.
There is a single cutout for the light sensor and camera. It's a perfect fit on the screen, good feel, no loss in touch sensitivity of the tablet, no rainbow effects and not to sticky when swiping your finger across it. Super Clear and can barely tell there is a protector on it.
Overall I'm very happy with it. Great customer service and lifetime warranty! Whats not to like?

This protector is fairly large so there isn't a huge margi. Of error when applying. However they have a 30 day money back guarantee and are willing to send you more protectors if you have trouble.
I bought a tech armor sp (as a spur of the moment sort of thing) when it comes in I'll write up a review
Sent from my SGH-I747 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Thanks for the review. I've had the amfilm SP on for about a week and I seem to be experiencing a bit of touch response interference. It seems to get worse when there are a lot of smudges on the screen. Luckily that only happens... All the time because the trade off with this SPs great clarify is its penchant for fingerprints.
Anyone else having touch response problems? I'm close to removing the sp altogether to see if the responsiveness returns or if there's a deeper delay issue with hardware. My guess is the SP is at fault.
That said, it installed easy, has great clarity, and was at a great price point. Hard to beat 2 for $7... amazon prime helps, too.
Yup, awesome products at a GREAT price!! I used nothing but Ghost Armor for years. After trying TechMatte though, that's all I'm buying from here on out. I've got their screen protectors on my N7 FHD and Note 3. I also use their Qi Receiver in my Note 3, as well as their car mount. All excellent products!
