do u guys know another site ? i just got email saying this
Hi there!
We apologize for the delay as the initial database has returned the results as negative. We are currently trying an alternative database for you.
Please do not worry, if we cannot retrieve an unlock code for your device you will be refunded 100%. Please allow us some time to try the alternative databases for your device (Normally within 48 hours we will have results).
Our automated system will email you right away once it is ready. In the meantime you can double check your IMEI number by pressing *#06# on your phone to make sure it correctly submitted.
Once again we apologies for the delay.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your patience.
Regards,
i need phone unlock so i can use my phone

It won't work on T-Mobile anyways.

did you end up getting the code from Cellunlocker.net?
I get most of my codes through them and majority of the times it works okay. I think they delayed message means they are just trying an alternative method to get your code.

Awful experience with cellunlocker.net
Be carefull with Cellunlocker.net, they didn't comply with the refund policies.
I bought two codes with them, OrderID::xx4024 and OrderID::xx2763 and at the end the codes didn't work.
They start to send me some instructions to make the codes work but with no success.
Sometimes it seems like the person who answered my emails didn't know anything about my orders. They get me tired sending me the same instructions time after time and asking me for some videos with a "REFUND INSTRUCTIONS" as email header.
Once I realized we were going to nowhere I asked them for my money back as its refund policy in their website, I received nothing. I didn't receive an email with the reason to don't refund me.
I'm very disapointed with cellunlocker.net, they have attended a lot of people but my experience started very well but at the end it was completely awful.

My experience with Cellunlocker.net along with my friends was great so far they gave me refunds where necessary and a working code on other attempts
Surprising to see this thread actually. wow. Sorry to hear about it!
I do know of another site that I know works well which is cellphoneunlock.net
You can give them a try, someone unlocked their phone at that site without any hassle.
Good luck to you all

Poor HTC Repair service :( what to do next?

its been two months now and ive been asking them to send me the new battery. Every time i call in they will say that i should recieve it end of the week or within 2 days but never recieve it...
battery hardly lasts. Cant charge it ovr 85% and phone jumps to red and turns of at 30%.. Its definately the battery issue..
are there any companies like watchdog or something who i can contact? or take any legal action against them because this is just rediculous that even after 2 months i havent recieved my battery
HTC's warranty & repair service is total crap. They make pretty good hardware, but the support isn't good. I had to write a letter and post it to them to get a problem resolved, the online system didn't get me results. Having to post an actual paper letter through the post, to a company formerly called 'High Tech Computer Corporation' is a joke. They finally wrote back to tell me they are now 'taking it seriously'. Isn't that nice?
I'd recommend trying a different route. If you bought your mobile from Amazon, they are very good about helping you out. They gave me a full refund on a year-old phone. If you bought it from a carrier, or somewhere else, just try a nice email to them describing your problem. Explain that you made a effort to do this the correct way, through the manufacturer, and that HTC failed to provide support. Keep it short and state exactly what you want.
Also, if HTC claims they sent a battery, can they provide any tracking number, or other evidence to back this up? Start nailing down the facts, and keep a record of each contact. Get names & dates, and keep everything as short as possible. You can file a complaint with Trading Standards, but this won't get your battery fixed. Save any complaints until after you get the phone fixed, that's what the record keeping is for.
Last, you can try contacting your bank, if you used a credit card or bank card to purchase the phone. They may work with you, or offer their own warranty program. It's worth a try.
Don't give up in frustration, that's what these systems are designed for. Most people simply give up. You will only beat HTC here by being patient and organized. Kick ass and take down names, as they say. Good luck.

[Q] Galaxy Ace II x - Failed Unlock - Ebay Store

Hey all,
I purchased an unlock code for this handset (Galaxy x2 S7560M) from the following webstore on Ebay: (tinyurl.com/opvytmc)
The source server is located at (unlockclient.com)
I've flashed various phones in the past and have experience when it comes to modding and provisioning devices. I followed all instructions, enabled the appropriate mode within the service menu. Yet when I ran the server client, the code returned is being rejected by the device.
I've tried to enter the code provided four times now. Leaving me only one attempt left to unlock successfully. After failing to unlock the device with the code supplied I proceeded to email the seller threw the webstore profile page - as well as open a dispute with Paypal .... documenting each step I took, in the comments along with my submission.
My question is. Has anyone dealt with this vendor before? Any vouches or reviews? If by chance I purchase a code elsewhere and it happens to get rejected - what would be my next step to unlock my now hardlocked device?
Is there anything I can do to verify the code I've been given? I seem to feel I'm going to get shafted here. And I would hate for that to happen considering.
Most importantly. Could anyone hint towards any reputable services that can perform this unlock? Preferably cheaper if possible considering my current dilemma with this process so far.
Thanks for reading guys.
Over 100 views and no one can weigh in here? .... I've opened a dispute to have the payment reversed. We'll see how that goes.
Maybe this thread should be deleted considering?

Dealing with Le Eco US

I highly highly suggest not doing business with this company, they do not answer anything on phone calls. They answer calls but only with generic scripts and a promise to call back within 24 hours which out of 4 times they have done 0 at this point.
My order was paid for by me and processed by them and then lost somewhere before it ever even left the city of origin. I have been contacting them for more than a week now and gotten nothing out of it, they are not offering me a phone or a refund just continue to say they will call me back and never do then every time I call I start at square one again. I am now out over 300 dollars while I wait and hope that PayPal will solve this and refund my money, this can take 30 days though so still not the ideal situation.
Just my rant. hopefully someone reads this and it saves them some problems.
Have you tried the leeco forums yet, usually they answer my question within a few hours.
I'm sorry bro. My phone did get delivered on time though. But I hear what you're saying. It doesn't sound right.

why don't you just call your credit card company and issue a charge back? it's really not hard and takes minutes. if you have the tracking number, it will be closed in your favor, pretty much instantly

Bought a google locked S9

So, I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 (T-Mobile) from some random stranger online, And when i got the S9 it did not come with anything else but the phone which immediately raised a flag for me.
When i tried to set it up it asked me to connect to the internet to set up, And once i connected to the internet and clicked next, I then found out it was google locked? It required me to log in with the previous owners email, When i contacted the owner he did not respond at all and i assume he stole it from someone else and sold it to me. I started to search around the internet and found a video of a person unlocking it in some way with Odin3 so i tried to do what he asked and nearly got a virus from it which left me unable to trust any other videos or sites, So I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me some way to unlock and use this device, I tried going to a phone store near me to try unlocking it and they said it would cost me $120 usd, But i was sure i am able to do this at home by myself for free, But i'm not quite sure what to do without getting any malware. So if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated
You could try flashing stock firmware using Odin. Look up your model number on Sam-mobile.
What you are asking is the same as "I stole a phone that is FRP locked, help me gain access"
We have no way to know if you bought it or stole it
If you bought via eBay or similar, contact the site owners, if you used PP or a credit card, open a dispute and get the transaction reversed
If you did a bank transfer, you have details that can identify the seller, start legal proceedings, contact the bank
If you bought online, you will have some sort of digital footprint to find him
And at the end of the day, you took the risk buying unprotected like that
What *Detection* said, this "random stranger" didn't just show up on your computer, you had to find him on a website. If what you said is true, then there is some type of digital footprint. If it was on Ebay, then you have a way to possibly get your money back. Next time, demand a screenshot of the IMEI and do a quick search to find out if the IMEI is clear. If you bought a stolen phone, then your guilty of buying stolen goods.
I know a a method to unlock/bypass it easily but u can google it. like many of the other users are saying, you could have stolen it and trying to get a partner in crime. Just get a refund or ask the person for the info temporarily and then he/she just.change their pw quickly. It'll notify them when u have sucessfully unlocked the device. Good luck.
What's your conscience telling you? Do a trace, get a refund, and return the phone to its original owner.
Thread closed.
FRP (Factory Reset Protection) is done for something and we at XDA do not allow discussions to bypass such security systems. Even if it's for good reasons in the end we don't take that risk.
Please read the rules again HERE.

Don't post copyrighted materials or do other things which will obviously lead to legal trouble. If you wouldn't do it on your own homepage, you probably shouldn't do it here either. This does not mean that we agree with everything that the software piracy lobby try to impose on us. It simply means that you cannot break any laws here, since we'll end up dealing with the legal hassle caused by you. Removing the Screen swipe lock on a non-rooted, developer mode disabled phone.

I have a phone given to me by my mother's friend who's son died in a drowning accident. She wants to get the images off of his phone (internal memory), but the phone is swipe pass locked, and he never enabled debugger mode, nor rooted it.
Is there a way to remove the screen lock? I do have his email and password, but I don't think that's enough, based on what I've tried.
Thanks

firstly, id like to offer my 100% sincere condolences. I just lost my mom a little over a year and a half ago and one of my favorite aunts just 2 weeks ago. So please believe me when i say im sorry for your loss.
There is a way to do this, but its very much on the outside of what XDA can advise on as it would open pandoras box for thieves.
Your best bet is to call google with the email address and password, inform them of his passing along with showing them where the obit is online and ask for access.
Im not sure what the death clause exactly reads, but you might have to have the executor or executrix of his estate request this. I work in health insurance and we have to abide by HIPAA, but i dont know what crazyness google will make you go thru
good luck man. I had a similar thing trying to get pics off of a mac for a friend who's sister passed away. It was a total b**ch to get done, but i got it done (Linux to the rescue)

Great, thank you so much for the advice. It's too bad I can't do it myself, but you've saved me a lot of hassle trying to do something I can't. I'll let her know.
