Loved the theme but my only issue is I like to replace the mutitask button with the menu button

How's it running? Smooth? some options are missing but the size of the ROM speaks for itself if the speed and smoothness does not.

Its running great, going to give it a couple of days and see how it goes from there
All these rom options are intimidating coming from the rezound, trying to find one rom to settle with is proving to be difficult

Wonderful job putting this all together. One question: some icons displayed are different that what I actually ended up with, e.g., email icon '@' and the apps laucher. How is this done?
Best Regards, ~D
If I understand what you're trying to say the icons are from launcher pro.
People ill upload the milestone launcher soon..
Thanks for the feedback

Thanks iceandfire pretty frickin nice. I dont usually go for "themed out" but this is not too over done. switched out the kernel with matrix 5.5, changed the launcher, added some voodoo color modifications http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002090 now its really functional eye candy , I have no 4g reception where im at right now so all I can say is that the radio appears to turn on and search.
Yeah the 4g is working on my phone with this rom, the 4g switch in notification bar does not toggle though. Have to go to wireless and networks and enable it that way.

How to download? I even looked on the other site and don't see any links
I am really liking this so far. How does the stock kernel compare to matrix for battery life?

Note, there is no APM, but thanks to Whitehawkx, you can go to the reboot option in the status bar and choose what kind of reboot you want. Again, all credit goes to Whitehawkx for that and the entire extended quick settings code port, originally from Lidroid.
What can I expect to see in GingerSnap in the future?
See the change log for upcoming features!
Check the Changelog to see what’s coming in the next release/what I’m working on now! You can also leave comments there or here to tell me what you’d like to see!
Instructions:
1) Place ROM on internal or external SD, doesn’t matter which one
2) Boot into recovery
3) Factory/data reset
4) Install zip
5) Wipe Dalvik-cache, fix permissions
6) Reboot
7) Wait 10 minutes for resources to settle- don’t touch your phone
8) Reboot phone
9) Go into settings, applications, development, enable USB debugging
10) Done.
I understand you may not like the ROM, but I have put over 40 hours of work into it so, feel free to voice your concern, just be respectful to me and other forum members
Also, if you want to use a CPU controller, I recommend CPU Tuner! It works the best for this ROM.
Bugs:
-Force close on notification swipe away
As a side note, to all of you that want to be able to develop your own Android ROMs, it’s not impossible! Feel free to message me for info on getting started! Please keep posts relevant to ROM though, thanks
Credits:
ADT for the black/blue Gingerbread Keyboard, lots of speed tweaks, and help in the process of creating this ROM.
qasimzia512 (the best themer around here ) for the ICS icons and phone/setting apks as well as anything else that has blue in it.
-Mr X- for the clean, CIQ-free base, and being awesome.
faux123 for the kernel.
Lidroid for the OG extended quick settings and Whitehawkx/TeamKang for the ported code to our SGS2.
AndroidON for the cache tweaks
All the beta testers!
All of their work is what makes Android so great! Please thank them!!

Welcome!
I'm a HUGE fan of Xboarder from the G2 forum. I just sold my G2 and left his last ROM on there for the new owner.
I look forward to seeing this ROM develop.
I won't worry about the green, that's what themes are for. People want speed, better battery life, and reliability. They also tend to want the new stuff ASAP, good luck with that.
OP Updated. Download link live.
Great to see a new, recognized and diversified dev. Welcome aboard and thanks! (button hit)
I'm guessing this doesn't have wifi calling since it's a att rom

Based on Deodexed UCKJ2 2.3.5 [Rogers]
How is that an att rom? Please explain.
Wifi calling is not available as of yet. Looking to implement it after I do some more framework edits.

What is the difference between the 2.3.5 Rogers build and the 2.3.6 T-Mobile build?

Minimal: Both Gingerbread, 2.3.6 fixes a voice search bug and the side-effect of impairing the Wi-Fi hotspot functionality of many Canadian Nexus S phones. (Did a google search...took 2 secs).
some of us really dont care about wifi calling long as the rom running fast and great battery I personally happy. thank you for the rom. for sure I will try it.

I apologize if this is a noob question, but from my understanding, the synergy kernel can be customized for oc and uv?? I'm just curious where its set to, as battery life and stability are on top of my priority list. And as usual, I'm pretty excited to try out another rom, so thanks for this!

There are apps to adjust the performance and battery life and you can flash a different kernel if you prefer. But synergy is my favorite. I've heard people raving about darksides new kernel it seem to be full featured to.
I flashed faux09 (OC) and find the performance to be a bit better. This ROM is excellent, the smoothest and quickest of the bunch and believe me I've tried them all.
Great job Rob!!!
Just outta curiosity does anyone know what, if any, themes work with this rom?
None so far.

I was waiting for RasBean but this might become my default ROM considering I only use the Franco Kernel and I don't like CM/AOKP based ROMs. Downloading now.
About time. Lol.

Just flashed it. I do believe the Navigation bar is messed up, or is that a new button style? Looks too squished to me.
Nav bar is awful
Many thanks to everyone testing.
The nav bar is from here
If you would like to revert back to normal, I will upload a zip tomorrow to revert it

Honestly the Nav bar keys you used look glitched, even if that's how they're supposed to look. You're going to get a lot of complaints about this because really, they look more defective than stylish. Thanks for the zip though.
Great ROM I hope there are still features and regular updates to follow. Thanks for your work
Stupid question: is everything working in that ROM?
What are known issues?

I'm using it and I can say it's bugless (at least for me!)
No bugs till now. I didn't find any bugs after lots of testing.
My opinion: It's the best.
