[THEME][DISCONTINUED] AOSP Theme 1.41 for VillainROM/Cognition

This Theme was made with the intention to make it look as close as possible to Stock Android. There might be some missing graphics, if you find any I would appreciate if you report them. What isn't stock are the Notification Shortcuts (obviously) and the Battery Icon.

Installation:
Install CF-Root
Copy *.zip to sdcard
Flash zip via CWM App or Recovery
Only tested with VillainROM (all Versions) and Cognition 1.13, no support right now for other Roms. Could work with other Deodexed Roms though.

Looks awesome, i'll give it a try, good to see the stock lockscreen - I hate the touchwiz one.

Nice theme I'm guessing the lockscreen isn't included? since i'm assuming it's widgetlocker, I actually ported ock's gingerbread theme from the SGS, it is a great theme

As I stated in the first post, the Losckscreen is not included. I tried to port it but samsung changed a lot from the previous touchwiz. WidgetLocker works great though

Yeah I know, I tried myself to include an AOSP lockscreen with my theme but it just wouldn't work Great work all the same though, I would test it but I already have my theme which is pretty much a replica (Well, despite the progress bar & some icons) and mines on Lite'ning ROM. Keep up the good work mate.

Off topic, but what's the app/mod that gives you variable control over different types of volume? Nice theme btw

This isn't a App or mod. Just go into Settings - Sound - Volume and you will get these sliders.

Like i said previously I tried to port the standard lockscreen as described in a SGS thread. But samsung changed a lot of things in those files with TW4 so I wasn't able to port it.
WidgetLocker works great for me, why are you sick of it?

I had some problems with porting the extended Power Menu from KF1 to KF4. I'll have to wait until someone experienced with smali will port it over. Until then you just don't get the extended Power Menu with VillainROM 1.3.
Other than that, everything works.

I had this working on the VR1.1. Then suddenly VR1.3 and 1.4 came out virtually in a matter of hours. Do you if this works on these yet?

Did try it and its similar to Cronos Ginger. On my Hero the speed similar to Ele's v2.3.5.

Still using this ROM, so far so good.
I thought there is a GOD mode in the settings. Is this missing from this ROM?
I really miss the CM settings.

Downloaded. Instaled. Works fine but I am not impressed with speed. It seems that SalsaSense is faster.
Will try it for couple a days to see how things go around.
EDIT: Problem with importing contacts from .vcf file. It is done but after importing there are no any contact shown, and under accounts I can`t find phone account. Google sync is working.

This rom is very good, I love the way it's so clean.
But, I've had market problems, namely certain apps not showing in the market. And I would prefer the old market, but those are the only things!

You can use ele's old market addon from his thread.

Thanks iceandfire pretty frickin nice. I dont usually go for "themed out" but this is not too over done. switched out the kernel with matrix 5.5, changed the launcher, added some voodoo color modifications http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002090 now its really functional eye candy , I have no 4g reception where im at right now so all I can say is that the radio appears to turn on and search.

Yeah the 4g is working on my phone with this rom, the 4g switch in notification bar does not toggle though. Have to go to wireless and networks and enable it that way.

I updated the ODEXed version. It now includes the AIO mod.

Loving everything about this rom So far it has been running excellent. There were just a few things I noticed, that I thought I would bring up.
Just noticed a few apps such as Voice Search and Talkback appear to have issues updating:
Also for Contacts when highlighted, display an odd pattern underneath. If it's the last contact in a specific letter it appears to display it normally:
Is there a way to set the lockscreen wallpaper by chance? When doing it through the settings/display/screen display I get the following:

Only issue so far is the lockscreen wallpaper, but I am using widgetlocker instead, and I miss the 4g toggle, but that is an issue with AIO. Since I'm stuck with sammy roms (I need 4g), I was wondering if you would have any interest in adding theme Chooser, or possibly the ability to remove specific notifications either DX or CM7 style? I might be able to get ahold of a dev for some help on such, if such help is wanted/of interest

The lockscreen wallpaper issue may be related to the Gallery3D.apk you have included in the ROM. I've seen the same problem when you try to use a third party app to change the wallpaper.

Thank you for this. I have wanted a AOSP looking ROM since I got this phone. I was almost done with a Kang for myself but it doesn't look near as good as this. One suggestion maybe as an add on. Would it be possible to do a mms that didn't use bubble. The chat window would be more like Google talk but black instead of white? If not no worries. Thanks again.

Great rom. Alot of things are just like asop. The only thing is the highlights in the notification pulldown are still blue.

If Steady Hawikins stock repacked EL26 kernel was used it may be the reason why you are getting these errors. He has since updated if you have not already changed kernels.

google plus issue
Love the Rom but I noticed that google plus has a sign in issue
FIXED: There was a different window opened in my notificaation bar asking to allow my permissions for my google account. I clicked that, it passed and i was able to log into google plus. Thanks.. please disregard the issue.

no it's not the stock look. i have to go to dinner with my fam in like 2 minutes but i took a bunch i will upload later. it's got all black UI and a bunch of other stuff. all inverted gapps with a custom icon set.

I got a cm9 linaro build also but I never posted here so I'm gonna test it out with this first and see how it goes.

How's it running? Smooth? some options are missing but the size of the ROM speaks for itself if the speed and smoothness does not.

Just took a screen shot with it in 1080 P. It works for me? Native is 720....

Its running great, going to give it a couple of days and see how it goes from there
All these rom options are intimidating coming from the rezound, trying to find one rom to settle with is proving to be difficult
