[ROM][JB] Team EOS 3 *JELLYBEAN* Nightlies - Stingray / MZ602 / US 4G ONLY - Xoom Android Development

Team EOS XOOMJB 4.1.1 Stingray MZ602NIGHTLIES
Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!
It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. The launching point for this development effort is the Motorola XOOM.
For the latest news on Team EOS Xoom releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #xoom.

--
A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS Xoom is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.
Team EOS Xoom Nightly builds: http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/eos3/nightlies/stingray/

No 3g/4g for me... first thing to pop up on boot was err mssg about process android.phone... all else seems smooth so far

Wow! How fast! No 4g, but still great!

No 4g here. Noticed no baseband listed in settings.
Just flashed and wanting to wait to hear back on the 4g before I restore all apps and setup home screen.
Can't believe how quick EOS got this out. Thanks!

Yes, very smooth in early testing. WiFi hookup quick and solid, stock android browser smooth and fast navigating to xda forums first time. No discernable keyboard lag.
Boat browser doesn't work, prob not ready for JB. Haven't downloaded other apps yet to test.
Shows great promise... thanks EOS.

Same here, Baseband shows up as unknown. I also got the android.phone error at startup. Voice Search doesn't seem to work. Google Now starts, but doesn't complete setup. My clock did not auto-set after initial setup.
Camera works better than I ever recall seeing on my Xoom. Boots quite quickly, and seems to be ridiculously responsive. This is incredible for just hitting source, I wish I could be more helpful!, keep up the good work guys!

Yeah it is working amazing except for that. For me it just blacks out after i go through the little tutorial at the beginning. Then i get a FC message.

Works great. Unbelievably smooth. Google now isn't working right for me. Freezes on startup. So far really impressed, great job!

Savaged-Zen ROM
RC5 Test Renditions
http://savaged-zen.com
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The crespo4g build of the Savaged-Zen ROM is currently under testing stages. EXPECT THINGS TO BE BUGGY! If you have issues, please submit issues to the link below.
2. For the TESTING STAGE, the ROM currently includes the latest kernel from mathkid95, the Matr1x kernel. We are working on a Savaged-Zen kernel specifically for the crespo and crespo4g. Please be patient while the other developers on our team get those loose ends tied up
3. Once the crespo4g build is STABLE, this thread will be renamed and reworked to include hosting from our official mirrors. In the meantime, please feel free to contribute by testing or donating. Thank you!
Now that that's done, enjoy the show!
Thank you:
Anyone who has ever submitted code to AOSP development. Without you, projects like these would not be possible. (CyanogenMod, Evervolv, SalvageMod, etc)
Our dedicated Crespo4G testers: jta462, bradart
For helping us set up the repo and countless other reasons: preludedrew
If I forgot anyone for ANY reason, please kindly PM me and I will correct as needed! No need for flame wars.
Savaged-Zen ROM is an AOSP project based on Google's AOSP Gingerbread (Android 2.3.4). We have incorporated some popular tweaks from other AOSP ROMs, as well as added a bunch of our own.
The main focus on this, it to make a lightweight. FAST ROM that is specifically designed to work perfectly with our Kernel. Right now, we are tweaking the ROM and adding our own custom features that you won't find anywhere else.

Thank you for the support everyone!
I will be maintaining the device for the time being, and since I do not own a crespo, my eyes and backend testing work is being done by jta462 who has been extremely helpful so far. (Be sure to thank him as well as this would not be possible without him). Tomorrow, I will have another release, hopefully clearing up the wifi, camera, and mms issues. Tomorrows fixes were brought to my attention by mikeyinid, so a thanks to him is in order as well!
Please stick around ! Love the teamwork of the crespo community thus far.

Great! Glad to see beta-3 is not causing any issues. I have a Crespo version build (Nexus S) built and ready for testing on the Crespo forums. Its pretty silly to think those screen shots are from a phone. The aspect ratio is a dead giveaway that its from a tablet. Team EOS makes their ROM multi-platform, and as far as: know this is their first release for a phone. I've been using a rom of theirs in one form or another since I got my Xoom. Really top notch stuff.
BRD and gang: Great to have this ROM on the GNex. Great to have devs that write their own code from scratch and not borrow features from the community too. Originality FTW!
Maybe we'll have you guys back on the show again soon as well!

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.
This is a merge of AOKP, CM10, and Paranoid Android done by DAGr8. Thanks to him
This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. If kittens start to raid your house in mass, then I am not responsible (also, take a picture and post it on Reddit for archival purposes)
Thanks to:
- DAGr8
- Team KANG
- Team Douche
- Rohan32
- Paranoid Android Team

Flash normal jb gapps of your choice. These are recommended: http://d-h.st/1C0 4.2 gapps by KillDroidHack.
Please report any bugs to this thread, and I'll see if I can fix them, I threw this together for fun, and didn't do that much testing.
I also became really lazy and kanged Team KANG's boot animation.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:

No changelog, because I can't find one. I'll try to do nightlies. I'm syncing right now.
Also, keep in mind that I only have ~85 Mbps internet and a 3570K, so it might take a while to compile for all devices (I'm going to start supporting maguro and toroplus), but toro will always come first.

Hey guys use any 4.2 gapps that suits you. But this is my personal blend in here
http://goo.im/devs/teameos/roms/eos4/gapps
You'll find everything that a gapps pack should be. Like photosphere, swipe kbd, currents daydream, and other misc win that I mixed together. Of course if somebody made an inverted version I'd wub u forever.
Awesome thanks for this

It's a solid build based on aosp with some unique features. Only bug I got is you can't install paid apps with a custom kernel. I'm working overtime hunting it down. As always with EOS, it's an ongoing and evolving project with some very talented developers. Do a Nandroid, update to latest 4.2 compatible recovery, and give it a run. I'm always open to thoughts, feature ideas, or if you think it just sucks . But i don't get that very often.
Edit: weird kernel bug fixed that prevented installing paid apps from market on custom kernels. New nightly out with fix and some other good stuff. Feel free to flash kernels and have a merry Christmas.

Not sure if there's a common denominator here but I keep getting dead hooker with this, slimbean and another. I flash between so many Roms I can't keep up with them all..lol.
I'll run a logcat when I can...

Lulzing! Never heard that one before. I was gonna say it's what happens when she forgets the safe word. That being covered, this like many aosp builds suffered random reboots in the first builds. However I haven't even had a random reboot in weeks. One thing that can cause a working ladies untimely demise is undervolting/underclocking. If you drop too low you create a crime scene.
Lol I'm gonna run with this one for a while!

Thats funny
Has the source code ever been released by Samsung/Sprint for our Toroplus? This ROM is running beautifully not so much as a hiccup!

I think she becomes unresponsive after going into deep sleep...I cant wake her even with a gentle slap. I'll do a rewipe and flash and see if I get the same. Happened this morning and then once at work.

Nope, but even if they did we wouldn't need it. The only difference between toroplus resources and the rest of the tuna family is the small handful of radio binaries. And they all function just fine. But if anybody comes across 4.2 binaries for Stingray, please let me know
Edit: OH! just wait for the next nightly. all i can say is Kevdliu is getting sick with it. I mean, he's on a rampage!

Let me know how it goes. It would be nice to verify it on another device.
Ahh darn. Was going to make my own thread. Oh well I'll just keep compiling it for myself. Thanks for taking it over so other people can have some Carbon awesomeness.

Yeah you should be fine. I haven't changed anything and it worked well when I did it. I should have a new build ready later tonight.
I had to do a fresh flash over 10/20 non stop android.phone fc.

Not to step on anyones Toes, but here is a fresh build from late last night with proper APN for data fix. Have yet to have the phone FC and data is stable, been running since last night. I use same sources as Spleef used. I wouldn't flash the NH Kernels, even though i love them too, it makes the builds way too unstable (no offense NH).

You are not stepping on any toes. Sorry I missed the newer APNs, I am still getting up to speed and acclimated. I will make sure the new one is included in tonight's build. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Unfortunately im almost never in a roam area. I'm lucky i have 3g/4g towers everywhere around me. You could let us know if you try it....
I get repeating phone process force closes on both 10-29 and 10-30.

Really strange, I've got better battery than usual, been running good. Here's my battery so far...
Installed the agimax version this evening. LTE speeds are just about normal. Customizations all work. GPS locks quickly and is very stable. WiFi connection is solid and stable. Will put it through the paces over the next couple of days but so far impressed.
