Try getting root explorer from the market. Then you can get to it. Once you got that its in system/build.prop and make sure you mount r/w

They are supposed to be in the system/app folder on your phone. Used Root Explorer or ES File Explorer to check.

I have never had to add system files back in before, so I might be doing something wrong. I dl'd those 2 files and added them to the system/apps folder (they weren't there), but its still not working even after rebooting.

Double check that they stuck. Some apps will claim to copy files to system but don't make it rw and don't give you an error message.

Yep. I don't remember how to do it in Root Explorer but you may need to fix permissions (I use File Manager it makes it a lot easier). Once you reboot they should be there.
Good luck!

K. First change the one apk file so that copy copy doesn't show in it. Then long press on them, select permissions and just select every check box on the popup.
Then regular tap on the apk and attempt to install. You may get a message saying the app didn't install, ignore it.
Now reboot your phone. Hopefully that will fix it. If not there might be compatibility issues with the ROM itself.
It must be a rom thing still not showing up. Mmmmmm dam blazer rom lol

SD Card won't read on Epic 4G

I turned my phone off and on and now my SD card isn't being read. My phone says it's mounted and I can go into it with Root Explorer and mess with anything and everything, but when I go into Apollo or Google Play Music, no music is shown, and when I go into gallery, no pictures are shown. How do I fix this?
Check for a .nomedia file on the root of your sd card.

Did you reboot after and verify it was gone? Also look in your music and picture directories for that file and remove it. Then reboot.
