how to tell if you have a cpo or "refurb"

I'm lucky enough to have exchanged me black ET for a white, and received a brand new one. Came in a fancy box and everything. Also, as I've done this for a few customers as well, I can say that I've received about 5 brand new ones, fancy box and all.
Hurry now, before Sammy or sprint catches on.

What exactly have u done and how do u do it ? Those aholes gave me a refurb when I asked for a swap on the E4Gt I bought off contract!

you only get a new one if they are out of refurbs. they are not aholes lol.

I wish i had a white one. My phone broke and i got back a refurbished black one. i requested a white but they said in the store they cant do that. Someone hook me up with a white one please?

That is awesome. I just finally had to get my phone replaced for the first time since launch day as I just kept going into roaming at random times. So I asked for a white one as a replacement and the store didnt have any so had to have one sent to the store I just got it yesterday and seen this thread and yep I got a new one YA BUDDY lol

Well looks like I got a refurb. Not a big deal considering what I had before was a brick. I'll trade a brick for a refurb any day of the week.

Honestly the White ones should be all mostly new as they were released after the black versions. I would expect the Black ones to start getting refurbs since they have been out for a longer period of time. Still nice to know how to get the info however.

I just got my 2nd new replacement. The first was from asurion when I lost my phone and I just got one from sprint Monday. it came with no original box or accessories but it is brand new

##codes will not work in aosp roms. To get a white epic, you have to ask real nice. I can assure you it is a current matrix, and if the tech denies you, he doesn't like you.

i kept refreshing the page, and it said 11 Central "its time" as soon as 11 hit, I tried to purchase 3, then 2, then 1, but the online traffic made the site slow, for me at least, then 9 freaking 15 hits, and its back ordered.
$400 offered to who got a 360 and dont want it

I ordered straight from Moto.

After refreshing lots and lots, the website crash for 2 minutes. The backorder for grey version of the watch went through. I check my order history and now have 2 orders. Now have to call to cancel one of the orders.

I'm in the process of calling the customer service to cancel one of the order. I'm on a 20 minute hold. Someone will get it as soon as I cancel one of the order.

Verizon White Note 4 preorders

So it has been reported that the Verizon N4 White versions are now showing Oct 31st for availability. Is this only for preorders that are made NOW due to a backorder situation with the number of white phones that have been preordered to date? When I preordered my white on September 26th, it said it would ship by the 23rd. I called verizon last night and they said it looked like it was going to ship next Wednesday (presumably to be here on the 23rd).
So is this new date valid for people preordering now, or all preorders?
I have to say that this is my first experience buying a phone through Verizon, and I'm completely shocked at how bad their system and communications are. They provide either no information, or completely confusing information. Dominos Pizza has a better order and information system than they do. It's absolutely stupefying how bad it is.

probably for new pre-orders going forward. that's gotta be the only reason it was delayed, because they ran out of stock of the white ones ya know?

That's what I suspect, but the information they share is terrible. Heck... my preorder is still "processing" like everyone else here. Most systems change from "processing" to some other status that indicates that whatever you ordered has been successfully processed and is awaiting shipment or something.

Most systems only do that when the order has been successfully processed and is awaiting shipment. Given that Verizon has been saying the pre-orders will ship by 10/23, it's not the least bit surprising that their system is still saying what it says. When it's actually awaiting shipment, it will say it's awaiting shipment.

yup! when I pre-ordered the s5 the same thing happened. it doesn't change until 2 days before when they ship it out.

Yeah news to me too lol. Black, or white phone I'm fine with. don't think I could ever pull off a pink phone though. Had a black gear but for the gear 2 went with gold for something different. Note 3 was first white phone wanted to be different from the crowd and my normal.

Old school mentality. I used to only rock dark colored phones for that reason but if I look at my friends white S5 and compare it to my Black S5 his phone looks so much better. It has a more premium look to it and the screen also "looks" bigger. I opted to go with a white note 4 this time around. The phone just looks so much more premium in white and also the demand is much higher so resale value like someone else pointed it is much better.

As you get older you stop worrying about what people think about the color of phone you carry around.

White phone, black case = class
I used to only own black/grey phones. Bought the white Note 3, threw a black case on it and it's a beauty

Because 99.9% of females own white iPhone's. One major reason why its perceived to be more for women then men.

Someone has gotta be reasl insecure about something to say its feminine to own a white cell phone Lol. I had a black note 3 and the dark Grey note 2, seriously considering white if it's in stock on release. Anybody know if the white feels the same in hand? On the note 3 the black felt much better and grippy than the white one.

Another fantastic question! Me Personally, I Like my Electronics to be white. I hope my "manhood" is not in question (not that I care). to me, the device has more of a premier Look when it's white. My furniture are mostly in black. To each his own I guess.

There was a poster on there that said he worked for T-Mobile and they had a briefing. Its the most recent droid-life article for the HTC 10 talking about the update today. If you go in the comments. He has since deleted his post. I'm guessing it was pretty true for him to delete it.

I mean it would fall in line with the time frame. Id bet it gets announced tomorrow giving them a week to advertise. What else really could HTC and T-Mobile throw in? They cant throw in a Vive because its alot more expense than the lg 360 cam like they did with the G5 or what sammy did with the s7/s7e. Plus I'd imagine HTC doesnt wanna discount it too much. They need money lol

I'll try to check-in with our HTC Rep today and see. We expected a A LOT more info from the webinar other than "launching May 18 with a free Ice View case and extra charger" promo. The way she worded it made it sound like it was going to be a launch day only thing which I hope is not true... They've already made it more difficult to sell by killing off Uh-Oh! on carrier devices.

As per T-Mobile Twitter, no pre-order, just straight up launch.
I am not waiting until the 18th. Since I found another $100 off code that works, I just ordered via HTC with next day air for $7. $650 after taxes. I figure if I resell it this fall if the new Nexus proves to be great, I'll probably recoup what I would've paid in JOD payments anyway. Or if I really love the phone, I'll just return it within 30 days to HTC and use JOD with T-Mobile to get the extra freebies and not have to worry about re-selling later.

I hope this phone is available via jump on demand!

I never once use the S-Pen, and this Note has the same sized 3,000mAh battery as the 10, so they should get close to same battery life ? I always prefer Sense over TW.

Does any one have any info on the Limited Green logo edition?

I hope its the green one I do get sent and hopefully receive Friday 17th as stated in my email but not had any other emails about Dispatch or anything yet.

Bought PAYG on the green one and haven't had a single email either. was on live chat earlier and was told it would ship today....obviously just live support BS to get me off the chat.

Well I will keep an eye on my email tomorrow and let you know if I get anything. If not I may ring Three to find out. Don't suppose anyone knows how phones are usually shipped? Royal Mail or Courier (Hermes, DPD etc)?

They told me it's DPD next day. Which makes no difference with me as usually DPD downgrade all next day parcels for Northern Ireland to a 2 day service so I doubt i'll get it Friday.

Interesting, At least if its DPD for me as well, then I'll have a 1 hour time slot. Can get my brother to pop over mine if its coming while I'm in work.

Yeah Camera App isn't the best at the moment, nothing wrong with the Camera hardware as it is supposed to be an improved version of the camera used in the S7. Which is pretty decent. So until Razer release there Camera updates it's gonna be a bit hit and miss. Btekt on Youtube has showcased how the Razer Phones camera was improved by using this Modded version of the Google Camera ported from the Pixel (link below) however it only takes advantage of the main camera not the second. But until Razer comes out with an update for its camera app then the Google Camera port may be the way to go, at least temporarily.

no updates out of the box. I think theres a difference in regional software in the Razer Phone or between the Razer Phone and the Razer Phone SE, i dont seem to have some preinstalled games and wallpapers as others from the U.S i saw on youtube (I´m from denmark). As regarding my impressions of the phone, im happy about the 120 hz, the sound, and especialy the Dolby Atmos support. The performance and build quality. I´m maybe a little bit disapointed by the screen, coming from a Note4 with superAmoled, and the camera isnot good at the moment.. But again, this phone has something cool about it..
