I believe he's looking for the PIT file to flash via ODIN... Very dangerous stuff.. hope he knows what hes doing.
However id like this file as well, as from my research, this file is what controls the partitions, and id like to remove 300MB from my system partition. But in my post about repartioning, i heard it was very risky.

Badly needed .pit partition file for SGH-T989 (T-mobile samsung SII)......

the only reason to use it is if you repartitioned on accident, odin uses the .pit stored in the phone for mapping , this website claims to have the right one but it must be flashed with ics firmware , http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f777/samsung-t989-pit-file-badly-needed-1526176/
i have not tested this file- so flash at your own risk

[Q] HELP - No Connection/Baseband Errror

I need the help of some Pro's here:

Thx for help
might sound crazy but have you tried doing a factory reset ? And also do you have a custom recovery(CWM) (TWRP) that you can get into or is it stock ?

dont think the recovery will do any difference , you was not supposed to click on repartition .... have you tried the guide in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2258628&page=24 do you know if the phone is on 4.2.2 or you tried to update to 4.3 and what type of error message di you get .. and errors in odin? which odin version are you using ... is KIES running on your PC when using odin and did you notice the drivers install when you connected the phone into download mode ?

I dont know exactly what happend, he just gives me the phone and said that he has no connectivity, after he told me that there was an alian at the screen and he doesnt know so he aborted it, doesnt know he he has done it, think by long pressing power button.
No errors in odin, no errors by flshing, no kies installed, and yes, in download mode it installed the driver, but only one, the other one (samsung usb driver) i have installed manually, but, that doesnt couse to the damaged phone, tryed it before with my device and it was the same.
Odin 3.07 not portable or something... i have a pit file with the stock rom, and somewhere i read that i shuld try to flash with pit-file and rePartition, no errors, it worked, but no changes to the errors that have been before my tryings... still no connectivity, baseband and imei are unknown...
So if im correct you can still turn the phone on and use it right ?? Have you tried to flash a baseband? And you are unsure of what version he had installed 4.2.2?
try this...?http://galaxys4root.com/galaxy-s4-tutorials/how-to-unroot-galaxy-s4-and-remove-root-completely/

Back again, sorry for long time beeing away...
of course, i did try to flash a baseband... and also i tryed to flash a stock rom, the official austrian XXUAME2 and too again only the Baseband... no changes to the phone.
Now the Phone is Android 4.2.2
Ok, now i`ve downloaded the XXUEMK8_ATO and ill try to flash it now...
OK, now ive flashed the XXUEMK8 and did a Factory reset and wipe cache in Stock Recovery, now i tryed to flash only the modem.bin (XXUEMK8) still the same problem... no baseband, no connection, no imei... what the hell has happen to that phone??? or am i flashing a wrong modem, do i have to use another one?? But the MK8 is the Austrian one...
Also tryed to flash another modem.bin (XXUEMK9)... same error....
Is there any other way to recover the phone, maybe with pit file and re-part selected, or what elase can i try?
edit:
To the occured error, i think it was updating from Android 4.2.2 to Android 4.3, and, like ive read with this update a new bootloader has been installed, maybe he canceld the update exactly when it was writing this section, should i try to flash the bootloader?
Ok, after a few hours of google and search i trink the efs folder has crashed... found some howto's to backup and restore the Partition, but does anyone know what to do if there is no backup to restore?

[Q] Boot into Recovery Mode through Odin

Hi there,
Is there a way to boot into Recovery Mode from Odin.
I install a Stock Rom to my phone from Odin, and now its stuck in the Samsung Logo. I read that I should go to Recovery, Wipe all and will be ready, but the Volume Up button does not work in my phone.
I am able to enter to Download Mode with a JIG (as the Volume up doesn't work, I cant advanced when before Download Mode says, Push Volume Up to continue), I have tried like 4 different roms, all of them pass but the phone doesn't pass the Samsung logo. I waited like 20 minutes and nothing .
I think the only way right now is to somehow boot into Recovery Mode from Odin, do the Wipe and recover my phone. I flashed the I747MVLUFNE6.
Is there a way/guide to do this?
Thanks!
Theres no need. You'd only need to boot recovery to factory reset. But im pretty sure mobile odin has that option built in. Just choose Wipe Data and Cache.

How can he get to mobile Odin if it won't boot past the splash screen? Maybe using a .pit file to reformat everything from Odin would work? That's definitely more your area than mine though

I´ll read more about the .pit file.

You'll either have to flash stock that matches your current bootloaders/baseband or try adb to push recovery mode and factory reset.

Lol! Oops! Sorry bout that! Perhaps sleep isnt so overrated after all!!!
If you can find a way to flash an insecure kernel from Odin, you can probably use adb reboot recovery. The trick is probably finding an Odin flashable insecure kernel! (If you cant, let me know and ill try to make one for you.)
The PIT file should work too though. It'll format the data partition (like a factory reset) which is probably what you need to do.
If you have any very important data on your internal sdcard, I'd try the adb method first. If youve got everything backed up already, or dont care about losing that data, use the PIT file with Odin.

I did a backup of important files just before the update, so I don't care to lose any data.
I'll try with the PIT file, however I couldn't find any for KK. Can I flash an old PIT file or needs to be for the specific stock rom?
The PIT file just needs to be for your model device with the correct storage capacity. (16/32gb).
Its the same across firmware builds, so long as it hasn't been changed, which it has not.

Bricked L900. Doesn't boot. Odin fails 100% of the time. Stock recovery gives errors.

Hi there. A friend of mine gave me a bricked L900 stuck in the black "Galaxy Note II" screen. The first thing I did was to enter stock recovery, but a bunch of red error messages appeared (as pictured). Wiping data/factory reset didn't do anything. Entered Download mode without a problem and then tried to flash every single Odin firmware for the L900 found on the whole internet, but no matter what I flash, Odin ALWAYS fails. Also noticed that after an unsuccessful flash, still in download mode you can read in red: "sw rev check fail device 3 binary 2". Also, it is not recognized by Kies.
The previous owner said the phone bricked while receiving an OTA update. I have spent a whole week trying to fix this thing! I decided to ask for some help here before smashing it with a hammer.
Any help is much appreciated!

I have something that should fix you right up. I have to find the file so it may take a while to get back to you. I am headed to bed now.

I forgot to mention I already tried flashing a file named "fix.tar" that I found in one of these L900 unbrick threads, but sadly it didn't work (Failed to flash, like anything else). I hope you have different file. Thank you!

heres what you can do you can flash philz recovery in odin and download a custom rom (will take a while but worth) and flash the rom and shouldnt be bricked trust me i bricked the note 2 before but got a rom to fix it up
Yes I did. Tried flashing every custom recovery and they all fail.

Have you tried using heimdall to flash? It is an odin link software that can be used on window, mac, and Linux.

Trying now. I have downloaded Heimdall Suite 1.4. After installing the included drivers and opening the program, I'm not sure what to do. When I go to "load package" I am unable to pick any of the firmwares I have downloaded. They are not displayed in the window that opens to pick the file (and I am in the right folder). Heimdall is new territory for me! Any suggestion?

You will need to extract the files and use the flash tab. Don't remember if a pit files is included in the tar.md5 package (fyi you might have to remove the .md5 to extract the files) bit if you need one let me know.
On the flash tab select your pit file then add a partition, then select the corresponding file. You will need to do this for every partition you want to flash. Once setup click on the start button.

Thank you. I have extracted the files but Heimdall doesn't recognize them. It doesn't recognize any .tar or .md5 file. I am very familiar with file extensions, extracting, flashing software, etc... but this is the first time using Heimdall and I am very frustrated because I can't make it work. Any suggestion? Thanks again.
You give up on this yet domenicostorino? Looks like according to your images, you just need to odin with an included pit file. Lemme know, I have a pit that works for this device, had to fix one last week. Your images are showing no such directory, so that should fix you.
Edit: Grab the pit from here Use it with stock tar and flash via odin. That is the one I grabbed.
Hey! My Note has been collecting dust on the corner of my desk but I haven't given up on it yet! I would really apprecite if you can share that pit file and some steps. So far, EVERYTHING I've flashed with Odin just fails. Maybe that pit file is all I'm missing! Please help me bring that phone back to life!!

Just grab that pit file I edited with, select it in the pit section of odin, it should check mark the repartion as well. At the same time grab the stock firmware tar. You are going to be doing everything just like you have been, just using a pit file and repartitioning at the same time. Good luck, just holler, I will be around most of today. I used this firmware with that pit. Firmware
If it doesn't boot, don't worry, enter recovery and see if it fixed the can not mount, I don't know which baseband you currenlty have, so that could keep it from booting. If that happens and mounts are fixed, then just grab the last firmware and flash it without the pit file. Here is the latest FIRMWARE.
Remember you flashing tar files, all three of them need to be extracted.
Thank you. I did everything exactly as you said but the pit file didn't do the trick. It failed right away again. Of couse when I enter recovery the same can't mount messages in red appear again.

Assuming you extracted the t0lte.zip to read t0lte.pit and placed in pit section of Odin with repartition checked, and extracted the rom to a .tar and place in the AP section then hit start. Should have worked or did for me anyway. Have you tried different usb cable as well as a different port on pc? <that can cause odin to fail. Also which Odin version are you using? I use 3.09 Odin. Wife's phone went on the blink last week because of a battery failure, nothing would mount after replacing battery. What I described is all I did, she is back up and running with latest stock and rooted now.
After looking at this again, according to the images on first post, you have the latest stock build NE2. I extracted the pit file from the wife's phone and compared to the other. They are the same. At this point I would just try one more time with the pit and the latest stock firmware. If that doesn't work then maybe it is just a bad eMMC.
Here is the extracted pit from wife's phone if you want to try it. View attachment L900_NE2.7z
I did try again many times using the pit file and latest NE2 firmware. I guess the eMMC is faulty. Thanks for your help anyway!

I'm having a similar issue. Phone was charging in the truck, came out to the Galaxy Note 2 boot screen with the green light on, once I unplugged it though, it just died, Any attempts after that and the screen goes fuzzy on me. I can only boot into downloader mode, but everything I've tried to flash via two different ODIN's so far fails almost immediately. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-2-sprint/help/odd-semi-brick-t3082102 I'd really love some help sorting this out.

4.4 GT-N5110 pit file

Can some one please be kind enough to give me a pit file for the 4.4 gt-n5110. So i switched from twrp to philz touch recovery and flashed a rom but for some reason i didnt have my full 16gb i only had 9 so trying to fix the problem i switched back to twrp and flashed an earlier rom but i think i messed up my partitioning. When i try to run odin to put the stock rom back on it fails right after it says checking for pit file. Right now i can boot into recovery but besides that nothing and twrp wont let install any of the roms i have downloaded already.
-yes im on the 4.4 bootloader
-yes ive tried wiping everything before flashing odin for stock rom.
Im open to suggestions if people think its something else. I got really careless with flashing and thats how this mess started.
Thank you guys!
Edit: i also need to know how to extract the .pit thanx

PIT file for SGH-T399

hello all my brother's Galaxy Light has been bricked when he factory resetted it through settings. That was weird so I thought I can easily format it thru recovery. But whenever I use the combinations to go to recovery, it just displays the ODIN mode. Really weird. But I can boot through ODIN. I downloaded Lightwave ROM and I want to flash it using ODIN but I got one problem. I got this error in ODIN. There is no PIT partition. I searched through Google for the PIT file of SGH-T399 but no luck. Although I found a PIT file for SGH-T399N but it doesnt work. Any good people here who uses Galaxy Light can upload their PIT file? Id really want to get my own PIT file but I cant boot the phone up. Thanks!
Hello there. I just uploaded the SGH-T399N and the SGH-T399 Pit files. I hope that helps.
