Calendar notification in JB??? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi all, I noticed that in the JB ROM I just installed when I get a calendar reminder and i look at it in the notification bar there is a button to "Snooze" but nothing to Dismiss. I know in ICS if I clicked on it I would get a button that said Dismiss or Snooze. Anyone know how I can get it to say both Dismiss or Snooze, or if I click on it how to get those buttons to show up?
Thanks.

That is annoying. Not sure why the dismiss button would be dropped??

Just swipe it away.

notifications n reminders ring, but on screen notification tells me what it is

when i click on the bell, it shows 2 reminders , option to either dismiss all or close. theres no snooze or anyway to see what the 2 reminders are. anyone else expieriencing this?
Have you tried tapping the area where it says you have 2 reminders? That should take you to the app that's trying to give you the reminders (most likely it's a calendar appointment that you set)..
i did, n nothing happens. on my old touch pro it popped up when i hit the notifications button. i had a dropped call earlier so i have a ! n when i click dismiss all, its still there. i dont understand it.
btw, i have sprint w the touch pro 2
To get rid of missed call "!" icon just hit the green send to bring up list. If I hit the top bar when I have a reminder it then pops up with what it is an dismiss or snooze option. Sounds to simple so maybe I misunderstand you.

Get rid of SMS notification on top status bar

I get a text and I dragged my finger down, choose it, read it. I go back to home and I see a indicator on my messages icon saying one unread. I have to click on messages and then it clears when I go back home.
Is there a way to not make it show up on the notification bar when I get a new text? It's annoying that it doesn't register that I've read it when I check through the notification bar.
Go into the messaging app and press the menu button. Scroll down and unselect incoming notification.

power saver in notification bar

hey
i hard reset the hox
after the reset the power saver appeared in the notification bar ( it wasn't there after the JB OTA )
first i really don't want it there , is there a way to remove it ? ( my hox isn't rooted )
second i noticed something weird
since the power saver appeared in the notification bar
when i get an email alert i no longer see the mail preview in the notification bar
i just see one line that says i have a new mail ( like before JB update )
also if i have a missed call in the notification bar there's no call back button in the notification bar
i need to press the missed call go the dialer and call from there ( again just like before JB update )
before i reset the phone i had both mail preview and call back button below the missed call in the notification bar
what can i do to make them appear again
the notification bar update is one of my favorites in JB
and now i feel like i'm in ICS again
solution!

Hi mate,
I honestly don't know how to get rid of the energy saver in the notification bar, exept rooting your phone . I just know how to turn it off so it won't show up on the homescreen.
About the expanded notifcations (mail preview and call back in JB), when you slide down your notification bar and swipe on the notification like you do to zoom in on a picture, you will get the extended preview of your mail or the call back/text buttons!
Good luck fella! :good::laugh:

Software Questions

Hoping people can answer as this phone comes out in the coming weeks.
I remember the M9 not having a few common Android features and am wondering if the 10 has these:
- Lockscreen: when a text message is received, are you able to swipe up on it to reply?
- When receiving a text while in an app, can you reply by swiping down? Or in an overlay (instead of having to open the app to reply)
- Does the screen turn on when receiving a notification?
Thanks

I don't allow text messages on the lockscreen, so I can't answer your first two questions. The answer to your third question is "no."
how to fix problem when swipe up notification bar??
When I pull down the notification bar it seems working properly (two-face procedure) but when I swipe up to make it disappear, it comes down again. More specifically, the first time I swipe up it goes up to the point it should be, but on the second scroll it appears again, like when I pull it down. So, I am able to see again the entire panel. To remove it I have to do the whole process very slowly and it is really annoying.
