What case are you using? - Xoom Accessories

I currently own the oem folio case, and I have a CaseCrown Bold Standby Case on it's way.
I love buying cases for my devices, what case are you using and why do you like it?

Currently using the awful Motorola folio case but I just ordered this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Folio-Leath...?pt=US_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item4ab85b8c18 but for 10 bucks and not 11½$ as state in the link from another user, hope it's better than motos folio case

I'm using the charcoal grey Zoogue case.....I like it because its comfortable to hold vertical or horizontal, the horizontal kickstand is completely adjustable and subsequently sturdy in any position, and vertically there's a strap for comfortable gripping, and lastly it looks sleek.

I use this one, looks like you are reading/carrying an old book. It has a few turn-able pages to add to the deception. If you left it visible in your car, no one would know the wiser, you can keep it on your bookshelf.... It's not cheap, but well worth it in the long run. This is more for transporting the device, not for practicality. Great during boring meetings, work or school!

I'm using the Kensington Keyfolio. Of course I did not pay $99, I got it off Ebay for 45:good:, the bluetooth keyboard is really nice:
Keyfolio Expertfolio
I added a hard case if I need to quickly remove it from the adhesive back

I use targus leather case.

Otterbox Defender and I love it.

I have the otterbox and a matte screen protector on it; have an incipio case somewhere in my house (only used while waiting on otterbox to release)

does anyone know which is the thinnest case with front cover for xoom?

I'm actually using the Xyboard 10.1 OEM folio with Bluetooth keyboard. It's a little tight getting it to fit at first but it works well. The camera and buttons don't line up with cutouts and such, but not an issue for me. I got it because the keyboard was the best I could find at the time and on a whim, VZW Rep said "let's try this" and it worked great and I also got it half off in the store

The bad thing is that itsn't 360 degree so if I have to rotate my xoom it doesn't give much help

Body Glove Phantom Xoom case

I picked up this case from Amazon. I was looking for a thin and simple case and this looked legit.
I have been using a honeycomb style TPU gel case that I picked up at verizon since I got it. It's cool and grippy, but a little sticky and sorta brown. I've been in the market for a black case.
Anyhow. Back to the Body Glove Phantom Xoom case...
It's pretty awesome. It's made out of TPU but it is thinner and more rigid than my TPU honeycomb style case. Definitely slimmer and not as "sticky". It has a good grip due to the grippy pattern on the sides and back. The parts without the pattern are smooth. This case adds almost no bulk at all, the cutouts are perfect and most of all, it looks really good and fits PERFECT.
Here's some pics. I recommend this case for sure.

I really want a case like this, but it's missing the hard cover of the stock folio case. Any ideas where I could look for something like that?

When coupled with the Dock, a mouse is a very nice feature. And when connected to a TV via HDMI its nice to have control from across the room.
got the case and your stand in the mail, liking them both more than the folio options. Thanks. Also it works fine with the speaker dock.
Thanks for the heads up on the case. I just recently purchased a Xoom and am loving it! I'm a scratch phobe so this case will help. Another thing I'd like to add is to check out Decal Girl, they have some insane skins for the xoom. I purchased the dark wood grey/black one...very slick. Later bud

Looking for a new case(Currently have smoke TPU)

So, I bought the smoked colored TPU case because matte black was sold out. I like the case because it's small and doesn't add more bulk to an already huge phone.
My problem is that it's very slippery, I'd like something a bit more grippy but do not want the full rubber cases, I had a case mate on my old phone and I sometimes it was a pain to take out and put in my pocket, it would just come off of the phone..
The matte black TPU I heard was good, but will it be as slippery as the one I have now.
This seems to have decent reviews:

Thanks, but the jack info is a deal breaker. I use my phone every time I get in my car with the Aux input. It's my source of music, taking the case on and off every single time would be a big hassle.
If I don't get more replies I'll take my chances with the matte black TPU.

Case with Kickstand Recommendations?

As someone who used the kickstand on my Evo OG a lot, I must have a case that includes a kickstand. Does anyone have any particular recommendations? I have used Seidio car mounts in the past, and they were very high quality and durable, but a bit on the heavy side (trade-off for durable I guess).

Oh man, I am so used to ordering everything from Amazon (or others) that I didn't even consider going to a store to get a case. I guess I was thinking that since the stores don't have the phones yet, they wouldn't have the accessories. Stupid thought process on my part. I'll have to go to a local store and see if I can find the case-mate.

How is it bulky? Its like 2 inches long and one inch wide. And doesn't add much thickness to the phone at all. When your fingers are in it, you won't worry about dropping it at all. I can easily reach all 4 corners of my screen with this baby. watch Qbkings review of it

I had it on my epic touch for a few weeks (before I quickly got rid of it) and it never felt like it was getting loose. It uses the 3m double sided tape, the same tape on the wall hooks that 3m makes that are rated to hold 5 lbs.
Another thing I like is that it lifts the phone speaker of the surface more so it doesn't dampen the ringer. That is partially annoying cause it doesn't lay flat on a surface if your using your phone laying down, but isn't a huge deal.

I love this case. My phone has been driven over by a car with this case on. The only thing that got messed up was my screen protector!!
i forgot my s3 on top of my car (I'm stupid yes I know) and I pulled out of a parking lot and heard it fall off as it hit my trunk. I went back around the street, which happens to be a busy road, and found it face down with tire marks on it. I was so amazed the phone was not damaged at all. Its a great case and offers great protection.
The only thing I can say I dislike about the case is that the rubber edges pick up lint as I put in my pocket sometimes. That's the only thing I can really find wrong with this case.

I just got my dualtek case today. I will share my initial thoughts for those who might be interested. I ordered the black version which has a matte finish, I ordered this one because it seemed to have good grip. It's actually kind of slippery. The power button is very hard to press, I hope that gets better with time. The charging port and the headset jack are not covered like in other rugged cases. The case includes a screen protector, I haven't used it but it looks like a cheap one, it doesn't cover the entire screen and it doesn't have circular cutouts for the front facing camera and the sensors. It is a VERY nice looking case IMHO, and it looks like it will hold up just fine under heavy abuse. It doesn't look extremely rugged like the otterbox defender, but it should protect just as good on drops and that sorta thing. Overall it seems like a great case and would recommend it to those looking for great protection at a great price point.

I have had my Otterbox since day one of my Razr Maxx so it's hard to believe a case exist better than it. Then only issue I can say is that sometimes I can make your phone heat up more than normal.

Fosmon TPU Case, flat matte back

Been using a cheap S-line case from eBay but I don't like the mix of matte and gloss back and the grip ridges. Didn't care much for the cruzerlite cases because I wanted a full matte back (akin to Diztronic cases) and the price was a little offsetting. Shopped around on eBay and found this one and it looks nice. glossy edges (eh) but the back is full matte which I appreciate. I'll have some more pics up once I get the case hopefully by the end of the week.

For $5, how can you lose?
Thanks for the heads up, definitely let us know how it is when you get it. The cruzerlite sline case is junk so I'm looking for a good cheap TPU case again.
Just ordered one off Amazon as well. Thanks for posting this!
Came in a lot faster than I thought, first impressions - WOW!!! For $4.95, this is hella good.
The fit is very tight and snug; the flat matte on the back mimics the soft touch of the naked n7, if you've used any diztronic case before that's how it pretty much feels. Cutouts are accurate and buttons are very easy to press, the glossy edges help with the grip. The case also is thin enough, overall the best TPU case I've seen and tried, this will be my primary case here on out. Also first phone/tablet accessory I've bought that comes in a paper bag haha.
Thanks for the review. Finally a case that doesn't have some sort of design on the back and doesn't look all cheap and glossy. Wish they made a white one but the black one in your pics looks pretty good.
Good looking out on this case. I couldn't press the "buy it now" button fast enough.
Instant buy.. thanks bro

I recently picked up a blue 2 tone (matte/gloss) case and really like it. I got it for $8.00 on ebay with a free screen protector, earbuds and free shipping.
Got mine yesterday. Fantastico. Really love it. Makes the tablet easier to hold and by having the ridge around the border gives you something to hold on to.

Just ordered mine today. I hope it doesn't make the tablet significantly thicker

It is remarkably thin. Charges via my "wireless" charger with no issues. You'll like it.

Just got it. Delivered in like 2 days. Case is fantastic. Feels real high quality and you were right it barely adds much thickness. Love it.

Received mine in the mail the other day. Only complaint is the flimsy packaging, but this is more of a USPS issues since ( I believe) the delivery person seemed to have laid some heavy packages on my package. The end result upon delivery is I have a heavy bend/crease in the case that wont go away and wont allow the case to fit over the tablet properly. I contacted the company and they are shipping a new replacement at no cost. Great case, and great customer service.
Does the case make the power and volume buttons any harder to press?
I saw them on EBay but I prefer the hard plastic snapon ones. Mine should be here anytime now.

Yeah it makes them a little harder to press but its not that big of a deal.

the case is great
Have to agree, got mine on saturday and it is great. The fit is perfect, it is very slim on the rear, and the extra lip on the borders makes it much easier to hold the nexus.

Shame about the shipping cost (at least to my country it's rather expensive (over twice the price of the cover itself)) so ordered a Mumbi cover. Unfortunately with an "X" on the back but the majority is matte and it grips reasonably well.
Finally able to remove the protective plastic from the tablet, after owning it for a week. Yes, I know, OCD, but I like my stuff to be neat
