CM9 Recent Apps - HTC One V

Did something go wrong when I flashed CM9 again? Or did something change in an update? When I used CM9 before I could long press the recent apps button for the recent apps and tap it for the menu. Now it only does menu. Is that right?

[Q] Missing Buttons

I dont know if this happened to my phone before root or after root + custom rom.
When you open google play market on the top right you should have 3 dot menu. on my phone it is missing that. does any one know how to get it back ? thanks

Hi, If you installed a custom ROM, your 3-dot menu should be disabled and the menu key is remapped to recent key (The last touch key on your phone under the screen)
And to repair it you probably have a tweak section on your ROM (based on j4n87 tweaks) go to the tweaks and change it back

Home key doesn't work

Hello everyone,
I have just flashed new CM10 Alpha 6 ROM on my HTC One X, and since then, my home key is not working any more.
The button itself works (ie lights up, you can press it and feel vibration feedback) but there is no action.
- I haven't installed soft key enabler or disabler or anything similar
- I have tried switching "Enable custom actions" on and off with various settings, but nothing changes with the home key. The changes are applied to long press right key (I have tried to set it to search - it works, set it to none - works too), but whatever I set for Home key, there are no changes in behavior
Anybody has similar issues? Can somebody help?
Thanks
did u try any other ROM after this to check if home button is working or not?
To get better help try to post this in the CM10 thread itself

I ended up reinstalling the ROM, it worked right after that.
I then realized it was maybe Titanium restore that screwed it up, so I did a selective restore of system app data instead of restore all that I did initially.
It works now!
Thank you for your suggestions

Nova Launcher

hi,
i am running now the 4.1.1 ORDROID+Nova LAuncher. .
my question;
I would like that when pressing the right button I would have a direct access to "settings"
is there a way to change it?

How to hide the "back, home and open tasks" button in B107?

There was a small hide button on those 3 buttons in B106, but after upgrading to B107 that disappeared and it seems you can't hide the "back, home and open tasks" buttons anymore? Is there still a way to hide those 3 buttons?
I dont had down arrow button in b106 welll but i also want to hide the soft keys, anyone can tell us how to get that hide button ??
Really? I had that function when I was in B106, but when I upgraded to B107 and reset my phone to default, it was gone.
This Feature is disabled on the global Versions, but with Root you can reactivate it Just edit your Build Prop

ro.config.hw_shownavisettings = true means that you can hide the navigation bar (Settings -> Navigation Bar). <- Works with ROM version 104 and 107

I m telling you what i did.OK, first you need to root your phone. Instructions are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390491
TRY THE 3RD ONE.THE BEST
IF U DONT GET ROOT THEN BACKUP UR DATA AND FACTORY RESET AND REDO INSTRUCTIONS !!!!
Then install build prop editor from google play store. Open it, it will require root access, press left button ( grant written in chinese).
Search for line "ro.config.hw_shownavisettings" press the option. now make the false buttons "TRUE", so the line becomes "ro.config.hw_shownavisettings=true"
Give feedback and press Thanks, cheers :highfive:

You can bring them back by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.

If developers option are visible then scroll all the way down and click last option which is "Kill App Back Button". If not visible developer option then click on build number for 7 times until it says "No need, you've already unlocked developers settings".
I think after that you may able to kill app by back button

Unfortunately, this rom doesn't have that option, or i can't see it. Maybe some flashable zip or something?
