Google voice not showing right outgoing number in ICS - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

I just upgraded my phone from GB to ICS 4.0.4. I was running Juggernaut ROM before, but I did a backup and factory reset in CWM recovery before installing 4.0.4.
Everything seems to be working well except for outgoing calls in Google Voice. I have my GV set to "Use for all calls." When I make a call, it shows the GV routing number, instead of the number I dialed. This is true for the call log too. This happens regardless of where I call from: using the keypad or from the contact list. Incoming calls are working fine. This definitely was NOT happening in 2.3.x, and I had been using it for many months without this issue. Has anyone seen this, or know if there's a fix?
Thanks!

There's an app in the Play store that will fix this problem for Android phones. Just search the Google Play store for "GV Outbound Call Log Repair"

Incoming calls not coming though via Google Voice

I have been using GV for a while and had not problems until this week. My phone has been unusually quiet. Turns out that I am not receiving my incoming calls at all. I only figured this out because I was getting GV vmail notifications but there were no missed calls in my call log.
Has anyone else had this problem/ Does anyone know of a fix?
Thanks!!!!!
I think that you need to go to the google voice page and have it forwarded to your phone.

Thanks for the reply Ruben but I already have it forward to phone. Until this last week. I can get GV to forward to home, work, etc.... It just does not want to forward/work on my cell. I have had the DI since launch date and it fx well till now.
I though that maybe it was b/c I rooted but then I removed/reverted to back to stock and still no luck. My wife and brother have the same issue.... ODD
If you make a call outbound, does the caller id on the receiver's phone have your GV number? IE: Does it GV work outbound but not inbound?
Have you tried to un-forward and then re-forward the GV?
All outbound calls work. Also when making an out bound call it will display my GV #in the caller id. I have tried un forwarding and then re-forwarding. I've even hard reseted the phone. uninstalled the app and tried to see if I can receive calls. Reinstalled the app, changed settings to ask b4 making calls, deleted my phone from GV and re-added it. So far no luck.
I am getting the same problem. No incoming calls, but can do outgoing calls.
Running an unrooted N1 with FRF91
Just tested with my DInc by calling via GV to GV of my friend's DInc, still working for us.
Unrooted Incredible
GV is still a bit of a work in progress. I have had some minor trouble with it in the past. Sometimes you need to reset your settings or just wait it out if its an issues with their servers. For the most part it has been problem free.

True... I had it when it was Grand Central....until now I have had an flawless experience with GV. Seems like once they transitioned from invitations their servers became bogged down.

[Q] Incoming calls straight to voicemail

On my wife's GSM Galaxy Nexus, running JB 4.1.1, all incoming calls are getting forwarded directly to voicemail. I've tried quite a few things to remedy the issue, but to no avail. Here are some of the relevant details.
Phone worked fine for at least a week after the JB update.
She can place calls without any problem.
She can receive email and browse the web without issue, both on WiFi and on 3G/H.
I can forward her phone to our home number and the forwarding works perfectly.
We use Google Voice for our voicemail service. When I try to reset voicemail settings to our cellular carrier (AT&T), the phone does NOT seem to reset the voicemail numbers (they still appear as her Google Voice number). However, when I do remove Google Voice and then call the phone, I get a message that her voicemail is not set up. Which makes sense: we've never set up AT&T voicemail.
I've done a factory reset: calls still go straight to voicemail. And the voicemail number after a factory reset is STILL her Google Voice number.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Did you port the # to Google voice? I that would explain the settings sticking after reset.. It sounds like a GV issue and not a phone issue

No, we did not. I'd agree with you that it's a Google Voice issue...except everything was working fine up until one or two days ago. Calls both in and out worked without issue, as did voicemail.
Very strange. I'm going to contact AT&T to get their take on things.
AT&T seem to think its a bad SIM card. I'm going to pick up a new one tomorrow.
last time this happened my girlfriend somehow added me to the auto reject list lol

I'm not sure if you said calling to google voice number wouldn't work or calling the mobile number...
If it's the mobile, its not a gvoice issue..
I really would not think that a sim card would cause the problem itselt, but it might reset your forwarding options... I dont know.. you can try this if it doesn't work...
dial #002#
this will reset ALL of your call forwarding options just in case something is wrong / corrupt there... after you verify that calls to the number work, then you can setup the conditional call forwarding..

Great idea. I thought something similar, but when I try to enter any call forwarding codes (like the one above), I get "Call forwarding connection problem or invalid MMI code." Again, this leads me to think that perhaps the sim card really is the problem. If not, it's an AT&T network setup issue.
I'll post again later today with whatever progress I've made. Thanks for trying to help!
Picked up a new sim card, and it completely resolved the problem. Strange, but whatever. As long as the wife's phone is working, all is well!

Google Voice doesn't play nice with 4.0.4

After upgrading to 4.0.4 (Evolution v4 and Darthstalker v3) Google Voice will show different number when call out. With 4.0.3 and before, everything works like it should. When call to contact, it will show contact name and number. Now, it will show contact name and some strange number. Problem is the strange number appears in logs instead of contacts' number, so I can't tell who I called.
Anyone experience this?

I haven't experienced this however I use google voice every day for VM. I used it at one point to make calls and it screwed up everyone I called because it was a Sullyvale, CA phone number instead of Orlando, FL.
Have you tried clearing the app data, uninstalling and reinstalling? Are you restoring it from TI backups? I've found I have problems when I switch ROMS and restore it from a previous backup at times.. Just a thought. My Gmail won't send mail when I restore it from TI backup, I always have to clear data or just re-install it from scratch..
It works great in cm9, cm10, jkv3

Have you checked your Google Voice settings on a computer? There are certain settings you can only access via a computer and I know there's a setting that determines the number that is displayed. I'm not in front of a computer atm, so I'm not sure if this would apply to your issue or not but it worked fine for me on 4.04
I'm using GV for all my calls via the handset and it works as expected and displays the right incoming/outgoing numbers, so maybe worth a look?

I've done everything possible, clear data, clear cache, then reinstall, then flash cache wipe via CWM, nothing work. Go back to 4.0.3 then everything works fine. I've checked the setting on my GV account and found nothing, weird.
My blutooth connects fine with my BMW 330i 2006 but will stuck at loading phonebook screen. I can make calls and receive calls, but won't see their names, just number.
I noticed Swype Beta takes forever to download and install when running on DarthStalker 4.0.4 v3. If anyone who is using that rom please help. I love the rom with unique features like incall recording.. but I can't live with those 3 issues.
Anyone who can help me solve any of those issues will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone.
Bump.....
Anyone?

GV + 4.1.1 = same call log issue as 4.0.x?

When using Google Voice to call contacts I see the bridge number that GV uses to connect the call rather than the number of the contact. This results in me being unable to use the call log to quickly redial a contact... Was hoping that the 4.1.1 or the new GV update would fix this but I still seem to have the same issue.
GV displays the proper number in the call logs when I run CM10.
Anyone know a fix for this (other than using CM10 as a daily driver?)
I have the same issue and its extremely annoying! Any known workaround would be much appreciated.

Default dialer and Google Voice do not mingle well

I did a search on the forums and didn't find any relevant threads, so I'm creating this one.
I have my Google Voice app set to show a prompt asking which number I want to use before each call. However, I've noticed that on occasion the call will go through using my carrier line before I even make a selection on the prompt. I tested this further and set Google Voice to always use Google Voice line to make calls, then I made calls to another number I have access to. After several test calls, I found that about half the time, the call still goes through my carrier line. There wasn't any indication on my phone that it was using the carrier line or Google Voice line.
If I use the Google Voice app to make a call, it will always use my Google Voice line, even though it's going through the phone's stock dialer app.
I'm wondering if anyone else has similar issues and what solutions there might be to fix this. I wanted to replace the stock dialer with Google's dialer app and Google Contact app, but it seems that Google's dialer app is not compatible with the Mate SE/7x.
Can anyone think of a solution? I think that by somehow making the stock dialer delay for 2-3 seconds before each call, it would give enough time for Google Voice prompt to show up and freeze the dialer until I make a choice. I'm not sure how to do this, though.
Alternatively, are there any good dialers to replace the stock one?
I am having a similar issue on my Honor 7X and my wife's 6X. GV has been working great for months on both phones. Now (I think we noticed it in late April) when someone calls our Primary Phone # it doesn't get routed to GV Voice Mail, it goes to the Carrier's VM. For my wife, when someone calls her GV # it doesn't ring on her phone and is routed to her carrier VM. When she sets removes her "Linked Number" then calls to her GV # are routed to GVM but do not ring on her phone.
I have tried installing an older version of GV, no luck, and I have since been updated to EMUI 8 (Android 8.0) and I still have the same problem. I'm wondering if it's a carrier issue/change? We use Consumer Cellular (ATT network). When I go into Call Forwarding in Call Options it will not let me set a Call Forwarding number and tells me "Unexpected Network Response."
Hopefully someone will fix this soon. My wife uses her GV# for work.
Having the same issue, it's not consistent, some calls go to gv some to carrier vm...
