Reliable replacement battery and dual charger - Galaxy S III Accessories

Just found this on Ebay: http://www.ebay.nl/itm/Original-OEM...ltDomain_3&hash=item3cca7e925e#ht_2718wt_1397
Unfortunately this does not charge your phone. And I have my doubts with this being the real deal. Which dual charger, so phone dock and battery dock in one charging both would you guys recommend? I could not find any similar topic with these sorts of products.
Oh and yes, this is a question.

Ive had the 2 anker 2200 mah batteries and charger for a few weeks and I really like it. The ankers last just as long as the OEM battery

Look for the Kidigi dock. It will charge your phone and a spare battery simultaneously

hmm I've always wanted to get one of these combo packs (battery and charger) - and this seems like a great deal... though being from Hong Kong I'm a little bit skeptical when it comes to original/genuine items.

Bought the same thing from Amazon, I love it.

The thing you need to check is that the NFC function works... An original samsung battery should allow the NFC to work, the OEM batteries don't... If you're looking for a cheap extra battery for just the power you can find them for around $3-$4 Aud on ebay. They work fine but don't have NFC antenna...
And just because it says NFC enabled DOESN'T mean t is...

Check out my thread.

For now, I would recommend the QCell 2100x2 with Charger since I didnt get to test the Anker and Hyperion yet. Plus the Charger charges the batteries to 100% unlike Hyperion chargers.

Ill post some shots of the Kidigi its awesome no prob from HK. took a bit but thats typical for free ship. Im waiting for an OEM batt w NFC from a domestic seller it was cheap as hell but all his buyers seem happy.

The link you provided is the real thing, from what I know, there isn't any fakes of this item from hong kong, these item were on a special offer if you buy a new S3 from a authorised store, and many stores sell them of cheaply without the purchase of the S3.
BG

i say keep waiting for the original samsung 3000mah battery to come out, thats what im doing.

Me too but it is really taking forever

Here's some shots of the Kidigi charging the spare batt. I'll post some of it charging the phone later. It also allows you to charge the unit with or without a case. The spare batt was not OEM. Didnt really hold a charge and NFC didnt work. Got my $ refunded and said I should keep it. You really cant get around buying it from Samsung. If theres a 3000mah that is the same size as stock that would be great, I wasnt aware of that.

spare batteries anyone?

Seeing a few on eBay now but it's unclear what the capacity is. I'm wary of them anyway as I've had Chinese sellers send me the wrong battery for recent phones (check the listing, the battery described is often different from the one in the title!). Also I've had fake capacity batteries sent out - 800mah or less packed out to full capacity size with foam-rubber!
I'm hoping someone will make an extended capacity battery as it wouldn't need to stick out the back much as the i9100 is recessed anyway. There is an external battery pack available but it's just an additional battery that clips round the phone, not a replacement. Fugly too!
Ditto. Would love to score some batteries by next week since I'm going on a trip and won't always have access to an outlet. Especially since the battery drain is horrible.
Guess we're out of luck in the States since it'll take a while if shipped from UK
Looking at eBay I see a backup battery like this:
1900mAh Back-Up Battery For Samsung Galaxy S2 II i9100
Granted it is not an actual spare battery...for approx USD$10 it may be worth it to get it for some emergency juice for the phone.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Anker-T-m...ccessories&hash=item33732f9f1a#ht_2425wt_1396
they have the best battery..... wall charge really fast like 2.5 hours . i have been using for 2 months and no problem
anker are known to be good batteries, but you should get the galaxy nexus battery that you can pick up from the verizon store. The OEM batteries have NFC capabilities the others do not. OEM should last longer too even though the mah are different.

ZDoubleZ, that's a sweet deal! I don't really care about NFC right now, but how is the battery life of the Nexus batteries compared to Anker?
Nexus extended is best.

Yup, and $25
Been on the VZ nexus extended battery for a month - wow it is great. Much better than I expected. Took off the label paper, trimmed off the plastic end caps to the battery height (with a razor blade). Left on the NFC antenna, but can get it thinner by cutting that off. My stock cover barely bulges. It's been $35 at Amazon (Samsung 2100 mah extended with cover) or at Verizon (lucked out when it was $25)
I just ordered the anker 2050 from ebay for 9.99 shipped.
I dont use nfc and our phones lack the secure element needed for g00gle wallet. I also wanted the back cover to fit correctly without having to modify the battery, and 50mha isnt a big difference.
Hands down nexus...

The better the system the more battery it Burns, I app pose that if the processors and memory were less consumptuous then maybe we would be better off. Honestly even if you are turning off certain process patterns or psych out the brain it won't help, the won't be such a thing as a perfect phone unless you built it yourself, but unless the boards and parts are sold to secure in sockets your out of luck.

I've been having major battery issues still even with new Rom and kernel so i decided to buy this nexus battery from the Verizon store. is this the correct one?!? i keep reading everyone talk about the extended one but i did not purchase that one. the salesman told me 39.99 but when they rang me up they said i get a discount and it ended up only being 20.00.
should i get the extended or will this be good enough?

Mobile Charger Anything Similar

Is there anything similar to http://www.spigen.com/cell-phone/samsung/galaxy-s3/sgp-portable-mobile-battery-kuel-f60q-series.html
It is basically like a brick that you can plug in your usb and chrages your phone from the 6000mAh battery inside of the brick.
Was wondering if there is anything similar to this but a much cheaper price?
There any loads of options available. Check around Google (not trying to be a smart one), just too many to list)

Tylt Power plant $59.99 5200mah sprint sells them works very well and pretty decent price considering you have a year warranty through sprint and 14 days to return I got this and a ten dollar pack of zagg screen wipes to get the twenty percent off of both

I bought this 5200mAh one when Amazon had that twofer with the 7100mAh one for $55. Sleek, smaller than a car garage door opener and has a laser pointer and flashlight built in too. Even now $34 is a pretty good price. Can't post links yet so search Amazon for: New Trent iTorch IMP52D 5200mAh External Battery Charger. I've had it for almost a week now and it's really handy to carry around.
I just bought the Trent iCarrier and got the iMirror for free as part of a promo on Amazon.

Cheap Stock Batteries?

I was searching for a stock spare battery and came across these... they have the same model number and the seller says its an OEM product.
are they legit?

I've seen lots on ebay that are excellent counterfeits, some of which work as well as the genuine part. For example, I once bought a phone battery that looked exactly the same as the original, except for the quality of the hologram and two small typos, and it held a charge better than the original battery that came with the phone.
So it may well be worthwhile even if it's not genuine.
Hopefully they have nfc support....
A wise man once told me, "You don't always get what you pay for, but you never get what you don't pay for!" $8 for a genuine Samsung battery - when they retail at $30 for a device that is still very popular, I would think twice. Spend the extra $20 for a legit battery.
Just my 2 cents.
Well I can always return it

i always buy the cheapest batteries i can find, you can order 3 or 4 and it still will cost less than one direct from samsung and you get much more battery life total
I bought two that looked identical to one on eBay. No nfc though.. I told the dude they were fake and he gave me my money back. So I got 2 free batteries that look stock with no nfc... beware of cheap batteries from sellers in Hong Kong...

all in comes at ~13$
I think it was 19.99$ before i dunno why it's that cheap
