Is USB fastcharge supported in CM10? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

If yes how to enable disable it? Any widget maybe?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus

Not supported in CM10's kernel.
You can download a kernel that supports usb fast charge and use a widget like fastcharge widget.

Or if you don't want to pay, there is a free app which is app supported, but you lose the widget.

Thanks.
Just installed the franco kernel. It suports fast charge. Now I need a widget.

Just so the viewers know, Codename Android supports this natively.

To be correct: not Codename Android (CNA) but the kernel CNA uses, which is Faux123

I hear it works better with DSP managers.
In any case, I don't think Apollo works with music on your Google account (music has to be stored locally). Makes it pretty much useless to people who only stream with Play Music...

It depends on the user. But the most mods I've found were in xenondHD, paranoidandroid and aokp

I've tried almost every ToroPlus rom and always go back to CNA 3.8.0
While roms such as Eclipse, Black Bean, Cm10, Paranoid Android, etc possess cool features and good performance, CNA seems to be the only one to put everything together.

I like sourcery based off of aosp and there is plenty of customizations for you to choose from. You can change everything you want about it and it doesn't bog down the performance. I use trinity kernel with it or ada kernel.

Try paranoid 2.53 I'm using it and he's very fast and stable

Thank u all... now am using xenon hd very good thanks for the update

For customization, NO DOUBT, Sourcery is the most customizable FROM THE ROM. This meaning minimal additional downloads/flashes, most customizations are available in the ROM.
That being said, I had kept going back to XenonHD, due to reliability. I have recently switched over to BAMF Paradigm, and am equally impressed by the reliability and performance.

Stock vs CM 10.2

Hi,
I'm currently running stock on my Nexus 7. I've owned an android device in the past before and flashed CM to get the very latest features that would have likely taken months to reach my device otherwise. My question is, now that I have a Nexus, is flashing CM even necessary? We already receive the latest updates first. Is there any sort of performance improvement/stability improvement to using CM?
thanks!

also confused. wondering whether nightly is stable enough for daily use.

Its perfectly stable. Pie controls and the "remove all" button while multitasking sold me. Paired with faux's mainline kernel I'm getting great battery life.

It's still worth doing so for the nice extra features. I use CM10.2 with Faux123 kernel.

There are apps and roms with this feature.

This was ported to Beanstalk build on Toro, so it is possible. I have it working right now with that build. And no app and mod works as well as ChaOS version of Active Display.
