[SHARE][APP]best Music equalizers on the play store in your mind - Galaxy Ace S5830 Themes and Apps

in my mind
1)The best equalizer on the play store. 100% Free
This is a app that i found when i'm "shopping" in the play store. And it's called Music FX. 100% Free.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lifevibes.musicfx&hl=en
cool and simple.
Makes your sound louder and 100% better. I prefer you to use this if you're using stock roms.
2)Another one.
The second best in the play store. Because although it has more functions but needs to be unlocked by purchasing the unlock key.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sImNvbS5zbWFydGFuZHJvaWRhcHBzLmVxdWFsaXplciJd
Hope you like it! or...
how do you think?
what is your best equalizer in your mind?
let's check it out!
Don't forget to hit :good:thanks if i helped! Have a nice day.

Hey mate,
these equalizers are known by most of the users on xda.
Music FX is included in most of the CM7 Roms.
as for the 2nd equalizer app,it is also known and there are already 2 threads made like these.
so this thread serves no real purpose .
sorry to disturb you.

Actually, in this thread I just want to know the other best equalizer in other people's mind but i forgot to wrote something that causes misunderstanding. I love the equalizer inbuilt with poweramp
It's brilliant

Jet audio full version. The best for me. I dont know if the free version have the eq. But worth the money.

Poweramp + DSP manager with some additional audio libs was enough for me..

Best music player app?

I'm looking for a simple music player app that lets me do the following easily:
Search my music files.
Get back to my playlists and library without having to close the app and reopen it.
The stock music player is horrible. It has a search but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to go directly to the library once you get a few screens into the app so in order to get back to my library of songs and playlists I have to exit the app and reopen it. Maybe it does have a simple way to do this and I'm just blind and didn't see it but there has to be something better. I tried Android Music and the Play Music app that's also built in and those are easier to navigate back to the main screen but they don't have a search function.
Is there something out there that will do the simple things I want?
I love power amp. It is by far the best music app I've used. There is a two week trial version on the market and I believe it is $5 if you want to keep it.
Google play music app is also very good and free

Free trial and its beautiful. Worth every penny.
I prefer winamp, reminds me of college.
Just press the asterisk from the player screen

Been rockin cloudskipper. I like it a lot. Slimmer and faster than anything else I've used. Does everything it needs to do. Nice Widgets too... seems to have good devs who are adding and twee king all the time

cloudskipper is my pick as well, its completely FREE and has a nice, clean looking widget. I didn't like poweramp when I tried it, plus I don't want to pay for a music player app.
Cloudskipper has free EQ as well. Highly recommended

I'm a widget fanatic, so UberMusic is my choice. Gorgeous app. On a tablet, though, Hive Music Player all the way.
I also recommend power amp...way better than play music...just personal experience..

Still haven't met anything that's better than PowerAmp for me - Been using it since my OG Droid and haven't seen anything better yet IMO!

I agree 100%, IMHO PowerAmp is in a class of its own (just the lock screen controls alone make it worth using)
As others have said, Power Amp is nice. However, I switched to Player Pro a while back, and like it even better. As with Power Amp, it's really full featured. The interface is cleaner on Player Pro, and IMO it's just prettier. I also find the buttons easier to control while on an elliptical (they're a bit bigger).

been using PowerAmp for a while now. back then.. this was pretty much the only option if you wanted real good lockscreen controls. audio quality is great as well. i've stuck with this also, since the dev responds to emails quickly. i am curious as to how the alternatives today are. maybe i'll give PlayerPro a shot, though i don't quite understand why the DSP pack is a separate install, when this should already be built into the app like PowerAmp.
I recommend Poweramp as well.
On a side note: Has anyone else experienced incompatibilities with Poweramp and Bean's VZW Custom Stock Rom R2?
Every time I try to open the app it force closes on me.
+1 for PowerAmp. I've been using it since the early days and it's only gotten better over time. Plenty of controls, features, and options with a nice interface. Using it with an ICS skin and it looks great!

Yeah UberMusic is definitely my first choice but not because of the widgets. Out of all my searching, it is literally the only player I have found that has a true shuffle feature (no repeats).

PowerAMP problem

I'm using PowerAMP + Creative WP-350 BT Headphones and I've very annoying problem. With most tracks it looks like this:
I'm pausing track while listening, and when I want to resume play after 5 sec, it won't play, but skips to another track, and with next click of headphones play button to next track again and again... It's not SD card or playlist fault, I've checked it.
I'm asking for help
Try to play with the headphone options in poweramp.
Already done it... no changes...

Then I think contack the staff of the poweramp, they can give you answers, I think it will be the fault of the poweramp.
An if I say, that I'm using PowerAMP + PowerAMP Unlocker what would you answer? I think I can't write with this to PowerAMP support
But when I was using Xperia X8 there were no such problems...

the poweramp is made of the program and the unlocker, I've bought the unlocker via their site, because that time market was not allowed. There is no full poweramp, just unlocker for trial from market.

Power Amp still best sound on a Music Player?

Man, there are tons of them now.
Bells and whistles are secondary...I need good depth of sound. Power Amp always held that crown for me.
Short of using them all, anyone have any candidates that rival that app?
PowerAMP for me too..
hey xda
+1
for me poweramp and dsp manager rules my note 2
greetz benji
no, neutron player is muuch better :fingers-crossed:
Music Folder Player, in addition to forward it also has backward track, and excellent sound quality.
Equalizer app + Poweramp does it for me!
TW music player + sound alive = win
but there is no lock screen controls which is sucks :/

(Sadly) it´s still poweramp for me. "Sadly" just because I don´t like the interface very much. Has anybody seen the "Walkman" app around here? The one that comes with the AC!D package? THAT is a nice looking piece of musicsoftware (at least for me!) But it doesn´t matter as it is not near the sond quality of powerAmp AND (much more important) WALKMAN has no option for genre-sorting!!!
I always feel to try Songbird again, as it really looks nice and sleak...but I always find myself deinstalling it again because it´s still just too laggy.
So soundwise it´s still PowerAmp. When it comes to simplicity and look --> Walkman app!
yes I agree w/Power Amps interface. Incredibly counterintuitive.
But it speaks to the sound of the app cause I'm more than willing to put up with it.

Exactly, and furthermore pretty much unpractical for one handed usage. I don´t know why there are still no themes out there for poweramp...I think when the developer would open up the skinning possibility to the users, there would be a hell more to squeeze out of that app^^
Always have been a Power Amp user but recently have been using n7player.... So far so good, love how it looks more than anything.
Trial version available and full version on sale at the moment!!!

I'm a Power Amp user. Agreed on the interface, its nice enough looking but a bit counter intuitive.
Now this N7player - very good except for one thing. It doesn't do gapless playback (like the default player and many android players seemingly, unforgivable in 2012), until it does, it's a deal breaker Unless I've missed something?
Gold Standard
Its difficult to argue that PowerAMP is not the best and baddest sound on the market. With 3 years running, no one has really held a candle to PowerAMP.
However, I really value the sound quality of Rocket Music Player Premium. It has a great looking interface and sounds as good as PowerAMP IMO.
Bells and whistles are always nice and PowerAMP has plenty of them but I really value the supported audio formats.
RMP Premium also supports media formats outside of the Android supported formats.
PowerAMP is definitely still the "Gold Standard" but there are many players that are comparable. At the end of the day you have to go with works best for your setup - for me it is RMP Premium.
Take it easy.
What I really miss on MOST of the players is a good and customizable tree structure (accessibility) of my music. I always start my "music-adventure" with the genre tree - and the following should just work like I am used to it from my PC (on every software I´ve ever used):
Genre --> Artist --> Albums --> Songlist
Click to collapse
It´s that easy!
But what is it that I have to find on MOST players?
Genre --> Albums --> Songlist. ...or worse ...Genre --> Songlist
Click to collapse
Now imagine the chaos that I always feel confronted with when some (a lot) of my beloved artists produced a LOT of albums (scrolling ´till tomorrow). I just can´t understand that this is not a standard anymore (at least an OPTION so that people who don´t care are allowed to customize it).
PlayerPro is in someway better than poweramp, as it allows you to customize the tree a bit more. However, the interface looks kind of ugly to me.
So for me as a music-loving guy it is still a very sad situation on the android market.
Just discovered ttpod. Seriously nice UI with lyrics and for some reason actually sounds better than power amp for me, but in don't do any customization of the equalizer settings in both. But yeah the theme and the awesome sound out if the box, and the fact that it is FREE just makes it flawless.
You guys should try it out. It's available in English too, if you guys are wondering.
PS: My gear is a jvc fxt90 iem.

[Q for jellybean users] What rom will be best for me?

Hey guys!
I am looking for a rom based on 4.1.2 .
Important thing what rom must have :
- the best able quality for xperia play - i am someone like audiophile
I do not demand high performance (because its jellybean) but will be good when i can play games like deathworm, guerillabob, minecraft and pokemon's at MyBoy emulator without lags.
Also rom shouldn't have too many bugs for normal phone using.
For now i have tryed Play Zcm 4.1.2 but this rom lagging for no reason. I mean the UI sometimes lagging and shortcut sometimes dont works.
What rom should i try for now? Also is there any "audiophile" here? If yes, what music player are you using?
I don't think I am an audiophile, but I like listening to music and my favorite player is Poweramp. It really has tons of options... check it out

Try racing xplay ROM. The op explains in title how to make music sound good and its also fast and smooth
Sent from my Xperia Play (r800x)
did you try cm10?
but why JB? any feature or software that requires it?
btw: using apollo
the hardware restricts the quality here. if the file is not lossless, the headphones can't handle every tone and the phone itself is badly shielded you can't do anything about it. equalizer and software enhancements are not a true enhancement in terms of quality.
I liked Pac man Rom I'm on slim bean now

Well i think from JB we can do better audio quality like from others version (or im wrong?)
I am using only flac's (losless) audio files and superlux HD668B headphones -- not the best, but sound quality is really cool.
For now i am trying Xperia play Ultimate HD 1.0 and sound quality is just, ahh. AMAZING! Like a the best i had hear! I think for now i will stay at this rom.
Also i tryed the apollo player but sound quality was normal. Not very good, not bad. Just good.

[Equalizer Fix] Start listening to your Music again!!

I was searching for a 3rd party app for Equalizer fix coz since last 7.1.1 update Equalizer isn't working, so i found this:
A good looking music player with 10 band support with extra bass and treble, i bet you will not gonna use your stock Equalizer after using this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.n7mobile.nplayer
i am attaching the Equalizer configuration as well [According to my Sony Earphones]
