I cant send any texts. My brother sent me a text at 12:30 am And its been sending me the same text 9 times almost every hour until after 9 am. Half the time I cant call out. Im the only one home right now, so I cant really call sprint to complain or trouble shoot. Our GS3's had the same problem just not as severe.

I have the same issue. My note 2 does not like the airrave. I get constant roaming and it never connects to the airrave. My epic and wife's EVO3D work just fine on the airrave. I have already done a full reset of the airrave and it didnt help.

Mine was going the same thing...looks like it took a day or two to settle in...i reset the airrave yesterday and still had issues but it's working fine now

Hey ladies and gents, I too have the issue with my new Note 2 not connecting through my Airave 2.5. However, my Epic still works fine. After literally over 15.5 hours since last Wednesday night troubleshooting through Tier 2, into Tier 3 Network team support. We have confirmed the
Airave will be getting a CSDB update rolled out in the next 2-3 weeks tops. The Airave right now will not accept channel 476. If you know how to get into your ##DEBUG# with your password (using your dial pad) You too can see if it's your channel or not. But assured it is a known issue and an update is pending.
I would've hated to return this bad boy Note 2.

The airwave uses the Internet you have at your house .... whether that be cable , dsl , etc ..... It will not use lte

I've been stuck on 1x and no svc bars all day, and on and off yesterday. Keep getting the data roaming message.
Called sprint and they ran me through a bunch of trouble shooting, as usual, but could not resolve it. She said that my internet wasn't updating or something. Opened a service ticket and told me to take it in to the store so they can check the device.
Anyone have this problem before, and how did you fix it?
I'm currently running srf 1.2, genocide 2.0, honycomb fusion explosion theme, ec05 modem, and I have an airrave.
My wife's epic is also stuck on 1x, and the blackberry on our extra line also says 1x with 1-3 bars.

My issue isn't that similar, but recently was the first time I've even seen "1x" on my phone. I literally have never seen my phone on 1x before, in fact, I thought it wasn't even possible on Sprint (Like, I didn't know it had the same name).
If all your phones are stuck on 1x, then it is most likely something with the service. You already did everything I could think of, so I'd just take it to Sprint again and tell them that it's been happening for a while and you've already been to a store, but it's becoming a real issue and you shouldn't have to be charged for a service that does not provide what they have offered, or something threatening like that.

Same...wonder if it's something up with Sprint.
I literally haven't seen that phone have the 1x icon in the 13 months I've had it.
I've had trouble, but with updating my PRL and Profile. Once I read this, I've kinda conviced myself that somethings up on Sprints end, and not ours. Could this be part of Sprints Network Vision in action?

Wow! I knew I would get some response to this, but not that everyone is having the same problem...lol! Well, that sucks. I wondered about the airrave, but I mentioned a few times to the phone rep that I had one, and she never said anything about it. She did say they were no problemswith the service in my area. I'll have to see what happens when I leave for work tomorrow. Does make me wonder if sprint has something brewing that is messing up everyone's service.

I'm going to give this a try, its really annoying because the one bar I now get(id get usually 4-6 bars like a month ago) puts me somewhere around 50kbps...

Reset the Airave and your router and modem. They screw up the Airaves all the time. Airave techs direct line is 866-556-7310.
Update= 3g still working on all 3.

Back on 3g today. Not sure what the problem was this weekend. I had no data when I got up, but rebooted the phone and so far so good. Full bars again, at home. I did switch roms last night. Installed miui with the data fix just to see if it made a difference. Didn't make a difference last night, but its working fine so far today.
Going to reset the airrave after work anyway, just in case. Are you guys back to normal today as well?

I was going to say I was back to normal but just as I hit "quote" my 3g went away and went back to 1x then I gt an error saying "sign in fail"

I only get 4G at work and Saturday it was working fine. Sunday I was off so since I was at home (with no 4G and little to no 3G) I was on WiFi all day. So I get to work this morning and my 4G is just constantly scanning. I didn't really install any apps yesterday so no app could be the reason. My bill is paid (if it wasn't my 3G wouldn't be working right now). I have restarted several times and cut off the 3G to see if it works. In the wireless settings under the 4G settings i watched the 4G option and it would say "scanning" a few seconds later "connecting" then "obtaining IP address" a minute or two later "disconnected" and does it all again.
Anyone know if it is Sprint or my phone?
Anyone in Virginia having 4G problems?

I would Odin back to Stock and try it. I had that happen once and it was corrupted data. Odin fixed it.

It really depends on the tech that works on the phone. And if they can cleverly word it as manufactures defect, not user error. before I knew what I was doing w/ my phone I bricked 2 phones in 1 week. Both times I got a replacement.

You guess in the second round of LTE rollouts (I read somewhere) but I get 4G in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Williamsburg has no WiMax though, it's weird.
On another not I factory reset and it a no go. Others in the area have 4G. I'll call sprint today and see if I can get it free.

same thing happens to me, but it also happens with voicemail sometimes. Something somewhere isn't pushing it to the phone. Back on my Epic 4G I used to have issues with email not loading as well as texts and voicemail. Only texts and vm on the S3 though, but doesn't happen very often fortunately. That and wifi just stops working, but that's another story.

So funny, I have Airave and I send myself a text and it goes through without issue. I send one to my wife sitting next to me and she gets nothing.
A friend of mine receives them fine as well. I turned the Airave off and within 5 minutes my wife gets all the text I sent her.

Wow that's crazy. Lol.. data?!? I can see the need for making calls due to no service. But for data u can just use your wifi. I see it completely useless and impractical. It not only requires u to buy extra equipment, but it requires an energy source.
T-Mobile has WiFi calling. With no extra equipment. The more and more I learn about sprint the more I'm ready to switch back to T-Mobile. I mean sheesh this 3g and lte is bull****!

I live out in the boonies and with out my airave I would not even get a cell signal.
Thurs I wasnt getting any of my texts til midnight, then they all came thru at once.

I don't have an airwave either, but I'm having problems receiving texts late or not getting them at all either. It's not my PRL because I make sure to update that and everything
Does anyone have the airave 2.5 working? I tried a lot of tips on other forums without success. My old samsung airave worked great till it malfunctioned.

Did you call them to boost the signal?? I had to do that when i first installed it..
My old samsung airave no problems till it stop working all red lights. It was recently replaced with the new model. Unable to make or receive calls while in range. Did plenty of online research. Going to replace my cable modem tomorrow maybe that will work.
I ran test that show less than 80% quality of service. Everything else was good. My ISP couldn't find any problems.

Thats a new one on me...
after fighting with sprint and my isp for months, I figured out that my airave's mac id was not programmed into sprints system at all. Finally I got to talk to a network technician within the airave server room. Within 1 hour he got it working. level 1 csr's will almost never setup a trouble ticket, but after fighting with them on multiple occasions, they finally did. If your problem is the mobile light blinking constantly, then this will fix the issue. Good luck getting them to start a trouble ticket.

when I first bought my gs3, I had a similar issue, I called sprint, they changed my MIN#, never had an issue ever since. They told me MIN# has to be changed when using Airave. Of course, not all level 1 csr's even know what your talking about, much less why it needs to be changed.

I have the 2.5 and love it. Honestly it's the best one I've ever had, and I've had the first gen and 2 2.0's (both 2.0 were crap). You need to get in touch with their airave service techs to get things straightened out as noted above, but they've been able to solve any issues I've ever had. They even have a separate group email address which will get them to respond literally within minutes unless they're currently swamped. I sent them an email to call me about an issue and within 5 minutes they called me. I'll see if I can find the email addy and I'll post it up if I can.
I will try that. We did the mac id when I connected the airave.
It works for a little bit then I get the unable message.

sounds like its not correctly provisioning itself. Doesn't sound like a mac id issue, mine wouldn't work at all. Did you open any ports on your router? Router could be blocking some of the ports required for the airave to communicate with Sprint's servers, or some isps block VOIP ports in an effort to force you to buy their phone service.

I have an old dlink router 615. It worked fine with my original Samsung airave. I am testing again. I exchanged the cable modem for a newer one. This modem is definitely faster but same quality of service score. According to the 8x8 voip test I can have more than 15 voip connections.

I'm going on four(4) samsung galaxy s3 on sprint all with the same issue I have 4 Open tickets that all came back saying the network is fine and I also have had my MSID number changed through sprint.
My problem is when people call me they do not hear any audio and I have to hang up and call them back. I have had this issue for 3 months I must have spent 30 hours on the phone with Sprint and maybe 12 hours in the store I do not know what else to do except leave and go to Verizon since nobody can help me at Sprint I've gone through many engineers in Kansas City and no 1 has been able to help me.
Is there anything else I can try that somebody knows is anybody else had the same issue help I don't want to leave sprint but I will because I need a phone that works.

It may seem extremely simple and obvious but have you done a PRL update? I have seen similar issues where basically the phone doesn't activate properly and that solves it. I would think its been tried with multiple phones but maybe overlooked due to its simplicity.

i have a similar issue when someone calls me they cant hear me but i can her myself on my phone and often times i have to call back for the call to work correctly i hope this issue gets fixed soon my bet is after the new update on the phone it started happening so it might have something to do with the new firmware released a couple weeks backs
I doubt its the firmware or update. This would be a widespread issue. I'm on the latest firmware and don't suffer from this issue. If this is your 4th phone, I would say its safe to assume there is a network issue rather than phone if the call works properly when you call the person back. Ask sprint to give u a different phone other than the gs3 and see if the problem persist

I'm going on four(4) samsung galaxy s3 on sprint all with the same issue I have 4 Open tickets that all came back saying the network is fine and I also have had my MSID number changed through sprint.
My problem is when people call me they do not hear any audio and I have to hang up and call them back. I have had this issue for 3 months I must have spent 30 hours on the phone with Sprint and maybe 12 hours in the store I do not know what else to do except leave and go to Verizon since nobody can help me at Sprint I've gone through many engineers in Kansas City and no 1 has been able to help me.
Is there anything else I can try that somebody knows is anybody else had the same issue help I don't want to leave sprint but I will because I need a phone that works.

Are you using an Airave?

Do you have an airave? If you or a neighbor do, your connecting to there's and prl updates are severally corrupt and messed up when trying to through an airave if they don't fail. Try going to a different part of town and do a prl update. And I would actually recommend another provider.. Sprint has become garbage. Worst connection in the country due to what stats say. Not to mention sprint doesn't care about customers much anymore. Been with them like 13 years and then a couple years back they took away all the benefits of senior customers. For example, I have 0 to 1 bars in my house.. With all other providers I get 5...

No airave . issue happens all over chicagoland. Tried four phones already sprint is not willing to exchange phone again. But can't fix my problem. I'm lost.

And continues to this day. With no help or credits to my account from sprint. I guess they expect me to just put up with bad service and not leave. Yet they still feel like they deserve to charge me an e.t.f.
Pretty close to just saying f you sprint.
