[Q] International Version ??? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

Sorry for such a noob question, but I bought my phone on its own from amazon UK. Does that mean it is the International version? How do I check ???

thank you

Yes the 7100 is the international gsm version.

A. it's Amazon uk... the only non-international versions are all us.
B. yes it's the international version if it doesn't specify the us carrier.
C. it tells you the model number. that's the international model number. you can check that model number from the forum's title

No. They're in the process of changing the "One XL" forum to reflect that it's for the AT&T version of the One X.

Screen Modes?

Will the International gsm unlocked version work on Verizons network? Since verizon provides micro SIM cards?

One X also uses micro sim only so it should work without any problems as its unlocked.
I hope it will.

No. It will not work. Verizon uses sim cards as their LTE network is based on GSM BUT, they are a CDMA carrier.
To clarify: those sim cards are for their LTE network...but Verizon is primarily a CDMA carrier. The hardware on the One X is incompatible.

Are you.sure and has anyone tried it

Babydoll is right, at best you might be able to get data if their LTE network is based on GSM but no cell/txt/mms and that is at best. It is quite probable that none of it will work.
CDMA != GSM

[Q] Is this the right section for the rogers SGH-i317m?

I just got my Galaxy Note II from Rogers (SGH-i317m)
Which section does my phone fall under? AT&T, T-Mobile, Verzion or Sprint?
Whats the deference between the 4?
Yup your good

As far as I'm concerned, our device whether it be through Telus, Bell, or Rogers is the same as the AT&T model. The only difference is that the AT&T model number doesn't end with "m".

Is there any difference in hardware between the other three carriers listed on here?

Nope just software. The At&t version is the same as pretty much all the Canadian models
Sorry misread T-Mobile is the same i believe but verizon/sprint have minor differences in the radio

Moving to england from america.

I have an att note 2. And I will be moving to the united kingdom in a few months. Is it possible to use a carrier there with my i317? With some software and a sim card? Or will I have to get a new phone?
If so what carriers will work?

Your speeds wont be as good considering they run on different bands. I suggest trading for an n7100 or n7105 before you go

If it only has 3g your good. From my latest experience with an n7105 and i317 having the n7105 here gives you a gb2 with 3g and having an i317 gives you 3g in England

I'd recommended orange UK or everything everywhere
