I'm hoping to help out a friend who just got the metro pcs Galaxy s3. I'm assuming there is a way to root it, but he is somewhat of a noob so I'm hoping to find the easiest way to do it. I can help him out if neccessary as I'm less of a noob. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm having multiple issues with the headphone jack and the screen so I believe that I'll need to send my phone in to get fixed. Does anyone have any experience with getting a phone repaired under warranty? I want to know if it's worth paying the $35ish and having Sprint fix it at the store instead of sending the phone in to Samsung (which I'm assuming will happen.)

My dad bought an Epic 4G Touch and wants to flash to boost, anyways later on I insist that he needs a donor phone but he thinks it doesn't matter. How can I explain to him about the situation?

If it has a good esn why not call boost and sign up with them? Boost has this phone and they should activate it right?

I have inquired about this in several places and none of the techs in boost stores will activate it for me.
Not sure about if you call corporate and have them activate it that way.
But the phone is sprint, will it still work?
This phone has the capability to work on boost. You either need to get a boost tech to activate it, or you buy a different boost phone and clone it to this phone, which is technically illegal and you won't find help doing that in this forum

Newbie here looking for some help.
Here's the story LOL. I picked up a Note II on fleabay with a clean Boost MIED and stock sprint rom and I tried to activate at Boost Mobile online and everything went OK but the phone would not activate. I have searched everywhere with no solution. Any help would be appreciated.
It's like the phone is trying to connect to the sprint side of the sprint network rather than the Boost side?
Also what would be the best rom for the Note 2 and is this part of my problem.
