Odin fail: no PIT partition - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hello guys, I'm trying to flash the official JB firmware with root (root66) on Odin to then flash a ROM. Every time I try to flash the fw I get the "No PIT binary" error.
What do I have to do?

Did you check the Re-Partition box? That should be unchecked.

[Q] Odin?

Does flashing with odin count towards the counter?
I read somethin somewhere this phone counts the number of flashed, but can't remember where I saw it

Yes. When you boot into download mode it tells how many custom firmwares have been flashed.

Is there a way around that? I want to flash cwmr, but I've had nothin but trouble with this phone and I'm worried I might have to send it back in again.. I've already sent it in for warranty twice

Check the "reset counter", it clears Odin flashes. It's in the partition and firmware setting on Odin's main window.

[HELP] GS3 Can't install ROM

I tried to install roms like PAC Rom and Liquid Smooth, I can only manage to install the older versions, now I get an error, something like Status 7 or something in the recovery. I heard you had to upgrade the recovery, and so I used ROM manager to update CWM Recovery and the same message pops up.
EDIT: I tried TWRP and it didn't work either.
Upgrade firmware to MD5.
Odin flash the update or flash the pkg in development.

[Q] note 2 bricked only odin mode, no cwm
Have a look at the instructions for reflashing the PIT.

There is no solution
There are PIT flashing instructions in the first link and you can get the PIT file here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2140636
I'd suggest reading over Dr Keaton's guides first to be sure too.

Pit file or firmware? Firmware you can find at sammobile.com and the general thread if you were on the 4.4.2 bootloader

Have you tried flashing the full official firmware? I understand you were told that you need a pit file, but it's likely flashing the firmware from sammobile would fix you right up.

Flashed a modem and lost IMEI

I wanted to try a new modem but now I have no IMEI, tried restoring a nand backup with no change, tried flashing another rom with no change, I also tried flashing a root99 stock rom with ODIN and it says <ID:0/003> FAIL! (Auth) and in download mode it says SW REV CHECK FAIL : Fused 1 > Binary 0 and tried a couple different modems. How can I get my IMEI back?
Flash the previous modem that you had
