Flashed a modem and lost IMEI - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

I wanted to try a new modem but now I have no IMEI, tried restoring a nand backup with no change, tried flashing another rom with no change, I also tried flashing a root99 stock rom with ODIN and it says <ID:0/003> FAIL! (Auth) and in download mode it says SW REV CHECK FAIL : Fused 1 > Binary 0 and tried a couple different modems. How can I get my IMEI back?

Flash the previous modem that you had

Odin fail: no PIT partition

Hello guys, I'm trying to flash the official JB firmware with root (root66) on Odin to then flash a ROM. Every time I try to flash the fw I get the "No PIT binary" error.
What do I have to do?

Did you check the Re-Partition box? That should be unchecked.

[Request]Full Odin sock Rom with 4 files (GT-N7100)

I don't think you have any extra benefit with four files. Except that will wipe your device.
you Can get pit file, if you wish from toolbox on my signature.
Though if i have remember correctly last btu is having multiples.

May be it's coincidence.
If you flash stock rom + wipe, it have nothing less than multifile flashing.
Flashing pit you can optionally add, but have no meaning if you don't have messed partition.

If I am correct you can't swap modems like that. Need to full wipe and Odin over and clear again. If not you might have to update 4.4

i pulled just the modem.bin from the kitkat update flashed it on my jb. havnt had any issues. i like kitkat but had alot of problems myself. i notice samsung has released many different versions of it as far as the internationals go and feel it will be the same with us. so im holding off.
Would it be possible to flash a 4.3 modem on kitkat? I've had terrible data freezes on kitkat for the last 2 weeks. Have Odin back to official firmware 3 times, it does it on that, plus aosp, plus custom tw roms, double checked everything apn, etc. Still my data just stops for awhile and it's like it can't reconnect from standby to 4g.

You could try it. When I had my att gs4 I flashed the modem backwards without issue... a few of us did to be able to enable the aws bands via a qcn file for a specific modem version. Just extract the modem.bin from the mi7 odin rar and stick it in the odin cp or phone field.
If you do, let us know if and how well or bad it works.

Whered you find the 4.3 modem? Link please?

I extracted the 4.3 modem.bin from the sammobile.com MI7 firmware. I tried to flash it through odin v3.09 as administrator and it looks like it flashes fine, no errors etc but when the phone reboots and I goto to about device section it still shows the NB4 baseband version. Phone is working fines still though.
Attempt 2, I used cygdrive to extract the modem.bin and tar it and tried to flash it through Odin v3.09 as-well and had the same results.
I am wondering if I need to wipe cache for the new version to show? Or is that version number in the about section set somewhere else? Is there a way to verify that I am using the 4.3 modem.bin from MI7 besides looking at the about section?
Can you dropbox a link to 4.3 modem? I'll look around and see

Sounds like the modem odin dance on jflte, maybe solution is the same?
flash modem in ODIN and UNcheck "autoreboot", it looks like it works, but it won't work yet... now manually keypress into Download mode again, re-ODIN the modem, and reboot. It should stick now.
That's what it took to do the modem upgrade on S4 while staying on original bootloader.

[Q] trying to flash modem but fail

trying to flash m919v with m919 modem b4 and odin gives me a fail and this:
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> Can't open the specified file. (Line: 1060)
<ID:0/003> Added!!
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
also in download mode i have
write protection: enable
eMMC BURST MODE: enabled
I don't think the M919 and M919V modems are interchangeable. Flash the modem for M919V, not M919.

Have you tried deselecting REBOOT, flashing the modem while the phone is already booted, then when it fails you boot into download mode and then reflash? Thats how I had to do it.

Could be either an n7100 rom or if it was an n7105 rom just re flash your modem and you should get baseband back. If n7100 just odin back to a fully stock image to get baseband back.

The ROM is called DN3_v5+_by_E-team. I have tryed flashing radio and modem. I also tryed using Odin back to stock but it runs most of the flash but then Odin fails at the end. When I try to turn phone on I get bootloop

It's not for the t889 it's a n7100 rom which needs mostly this to be ported over. modem, kernel, bin files, lib files, csc files and build prop change. your better flashing the DN3 V4 in att forum as it's compatible with your phone. You may need to factory reset after flashing an odin image to stop boot looping.

Try flashing the newest t-mobile modem in either recovery or download mode if that doesn't work, then download the firmware with bootloader in it like your mk7 and flash it with odin.
