[Q] Help think Bricked my HTC One x - HTC One X

Hi all , hope someone can help , I can only get into fastboot on it , it does a bootloop thats all , is it easy to reinstall RUU
tmobile uk htc one x
I done fastboot getvar version-main and it came up - 2.17.110.5 if that helps
many thanks

what did you do before it bootloop?

If you've tried to install a custom rom, you have probably forgotten to flash the boot.img separately.
Otherwise. To flash the RUU, you need to RElock your bootloader "fastboot oem lock" and then run the .exe RUU file as administrator.

Thanks Dear for Fast reply. The given boot img will work on 2.17.751.2 as it is of 2.17.401.2?
Oh opps, didn't see that. You can find the boot.img inside the RUU.
Not too sure if this'll work or not.

As I was on 1.29.751.12 and I updated to 2.17.751.2 through OTA, but unfortunately i forget to take backup of this udate with original boot img . and i took backup with custom boot img and I flash custom rom of CM 10.
so now i need to revert to stock rom. That why I need 2.17.751.2 RUU Boot img file.

After installing Custom ROM, the phone will not turn on

Hi. I have a little problem, just installed the Custom ROM. Now the phone does not work.
Exactly I have the latest version of cyanogemodu tried some other for example revo_ace-OFFICIAL-Apr-27-13. Everything ends the same HTC logo on a white screen, and nothing else.
My bootloader relock, and i have CWM. Please help me, this is very important for me.

I'm sorry, probably not enough described his problem. I do not mean about changing the splashscrenn. My phone just will not turn stops at the HTC logo. Is it possible to unlock the bootloader without having to turn on your phone?

Me neither. My signature explains that you need to flash the boot.img from fastboot, otherwise your phone will hang on the splash.

Ok, try this then, the wifi problem probably isn't hardware related as the button is greyed out. therefore no need to return phone (yet)
1, You are s off (fantastic, keep this as you can do alot more to sort issues out this way)
2, flash a custom recovery, for simplicity, use philz recovery - rename the img to recovery.img and place in folder on your PC where your adb/fastboot stuff is, then reboot ur m8 into bootloader and using CMD typr "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" then "fastboot erase cache". You should now have something to restore......
3, ......THIS on your device. basically on the root of your internal storage there should be a folder called "clockworkmod" and in there a folder called "backup" unzip the file and then copy across the file to that backup folder. Reboot into recovery and restore the backup. You now have a stock rom installed.
4, Flash THE 1.54.401.10 FIRMWARE using teither of the guides i showed you. You now have stock rom and firmware. also stock recovery and stock hboot as the firmware takes care of these for you
5, reboot your device and check for software updates, you should be able to take the ota and apply it, furthermore by completeing the previous steps, this should have solved your wifi isse and u will be on 4.4.3

Sure you just boot the phone to fastboot USB
then put the rom.zip in the folder with fastboot and use these commands
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot reboot
Flash it 2 times like it says their ...commands may be a little different on a MAC
