wouldnt that huge speaker toggle on the bottom left indicate whether not you're on speaker?

true well, what i should have said is that it goes off when your on speakerphone

That is the icon for noise cancellation. The GN2 has the Audience chip, just as some variants of the Galaxy S did. It is a hardware solution to noise cancellation, and a very good one, too.

Isn't that the symbol for hearing aid mode? Have a look in accessibility in settings. Or maybe in call settings?

 thanks, this is what I was asking for!!
Well I tried this earlier and yes DSP is there after flash, but I couldn't hear any difference at all. Tried both headphones and speaker.
It all sounds the same. Is it really working for you?

To connect a module wireless charger connector must be two points on the mainboard :

I've often thought about trying this, but I don't know where to cram one in the case.
What's the part that's being put in look like? On the ion at the bottom by the mic is a bit of room

Look up the palm touch stone. That would be the easiest way to add it. There is a metal coil that needs to be put inside. Not sure if it would mess up NFC though. I might be willing to give it a try if I thought there was enough space. The only problem is I dont think the magnet is strong enough to work through a case.

Volume makes me angry

any flashable zip that would actually work and make the gnex much much much louder? Sometimes I watch a video with full volume and I can't even hear a thing

This could be a problem of yr phone instead of the ROM u flashed, man!
Try another ROM 2 c if this still exists. If yes, u need 2 take yr phone to a phone-smith...
Volume should not make you angry. These nexus speakers are weak as hell, mine died within a few months after I got it brand new. I'd say throw some head phones on it.
