 thanks, this is what I was asking for!!

Well I tried this earlier and yes DSP is there after flash, but I couldn't hear any difference at all. Tried both headphones and speaker.
It all sounds the same. Is it really working for you?

These settings made considerable difference on my headphones, lending more bass However the effect may vary depending on earphones used But yes i find lotta difference on winamp, when inbuilt equalizer is set to none

Search xda for "DSP Manager" for android, many cooks use it in custom roms.
Its a little app with eq, and special setting for speaker, headset and Bluetooth. Very usable.

I was hoping some one would post about this. I grabbed it a while ago and it installed just fine. Everything looks to be working but I get no sound. I checked my other music players just to make sure it wasn't my phone and they all work just fine.
Are any of my fellow T989ers able to use Apollo yet? Are you getting sound from it?
Thanks

Best music app for Android I've used. Absolutely kills the stock player.
But does it support google music?

That is the icon for noise cancellation. The GN2 has the Audience chip, just as some variants of the Galaxy S did. It is a hardware solution to noise cancellation, and a very good one, too.

Beats Audio, how to configure settings?

Well I'm crazy and been testing all these so called mods to test and betterment of the audio, well I'm embarrassed.
Anyway, I've installed this Beats Audio from Play Store, installed it, but I can't find any option to configure it. There is no settings or anything. I'll uninstall it, but before that I'd like to know how to configure it.
Anyone? When I click on the notification bar icon all I get is this,

Wow, great. Wonder why they didn't mention it in the app requirements. Jeez!
Just re-flashing the rom will fully remove this mod, right?

Music player

Just flashed illusion Rom and noticed that it doesn't come with a music player. I rely alot on music to get me through the day. Any suggestions on a music player??? Thanks.

Poweramp/Playerpro with Viper4Android. Really anything will do. Get Viper4android to go with it.
Neutron is highly rated around here, but the interface is something only a mother could love.

TTPod
I like to use TTPod because it has a lot of options/ functions and a very clean visual. That is my opinion...
