The current gapps on the website (linked to from OP) are for 4.2. The 4.1.2 gapps are in the old releases section.

Just got a nerd chub. Glad to see SB make it's way to the TF300T. I'll report back any success/problems after a bit of a trial run.

Can anybody tell me what's the deal with this ROM according to functions? But pls not for phones, for 10 inch tablets instead

Just out of curiousity, what makes it so difficult to develop for the TF300TG?
Are the RIL libraries that Asus uses so different from other Smartphones? Or are there no sources available for the hardware bits that provide the phone/3G capabilities?
Not trying to talk you down, just being curious!

Hi !
Nop is not difficult ....but where is "Transformer TF300TG Android Development" or General specific section ? - as you know also Asus has a separate section for TF300T , TF300TG and TF300TL !
- unfortunately I think any developer not had this device ... for me is not hard to work also for TG version , but is not the same source as TF300T , and I also started working on the new model Archos Gen10 ! - So, honestly - believe me, I would not have time
Good luck ! :good:

Is the youtube issue being looked at?
Its not listed on the bugs list.

[ROM] [4.3] [UNOFFICIAL] OmniRom

Hi,
As we all know by now there are new developments in the custom rom scene. A few good developers have started OmniRom. One of those developers is @XpLoDWilD, the former CyanogenMod maintainer for the TF300T.
For more information about OmniRom, see their website www.omnirom.org.
Personally I think the start of OmniRom is a very interesting and am curious which way this is going. I do not know where this will go, but I will try to keep the TF300T updated with the new features of OmniRom.
So in this thread I will be posting my builds of OmniRom for the TF300T. These builds will be unofficial until there are official nightly builds put out by OmniRom.
Be aware that OmniRom has just started and a lot of features still need to be implemented.
So if you are willing to give this a try, then you can download OmniRom for the TF300T in de second post.
Offcourse you will need the Google apps. They can be downloaded here:
http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
If you want to have root access, please flash the supersu CWM package. It can be downloaded from here: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
As usual, flashing this rom is at your own risk.
Have fun.
Scanno.

scanno can answer this question personally, probably will with much more info, but the OmniRom kinda addresses what focus there is on the tf300 currently wouldn't you say?.

I don't think I know what you mean exactly. Xplodwild stated once that the TF300T wouldn't be abandoned. So I'm curious whether he will support it by himself or leave the field to other maintainers.
Anyway, I'm glad scanno is still developing for our Tablet :good:
I'm very happy that we have dedicated developers who can make some significant contributions too!
I am satisfied that without an official maintainer, we will still get updates from time to time.
At the moment there is no maintainer yet. The device tree has not yet been added to the repository. @XpLoDWilD is more busy with general Omni stuff at the moment. If my device tree is added and i am asked to maintain the TF300T then i will do my best to do so. The Omni project is just starting.
I must say again that i am not a technical developer and not skilled enough to do kernel stuff. So development for the TF300T has to be a joined effort.

Could you, please, make it compatible with ME301T?
People, a new build is out. It has the wifi region commit added and multi-window.
And i added some screenshots to the first post.
Hi there. I did install this rom and it runs fine at this moment. Did a factory reset first. So i need to install my apps first to see if it is good enough to run as a daily driver.
Only thing i am intresting in at this moment is why cant i see the performance tab in settings same as the screenshot on page 1 ???
Is there TabletUI on this?

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam works together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
SlimLP is currently in alpha/beta stage, some settings are already in place, much is still missing and it will come with time.

Please go through the ROM build up process in your mind, if you know how a ROM is built.
With that in mind, don't Tell a Developer what they should and what they shouldn't do, because, what users see is the end result that's it. Debugging ROM's, when sources are buggy is time consuming. And these new ROM's bring new features, the features aren't just lying in AOSP.
Respect Development and Developer's and most importantly have patience.
Guys, if you think a ROM is not complete, but the dev is no longer maintaining it, you have only one choice left: complete it yourself. The developers have no obligation to you whatsoever. Remember, you're not paying them (and donations do not count as payment, it only shows that you value the dev's work).
That being said:
---> thread cleaned
Let's move on, please

Welcome to the OFFICIAL thread of Validus ROM for the SGH-M919, Build's are usually updated on a weekly or wheneverwefeellikely basis. All credit goes to Team Ground Zero and all our hardworking Devs. Team Ground Zero is built upon the willingness to learn, create and socialize on Android. Our Team has worked really hard to theme this ROM the way we like it....The CM team has to get their theme engine bugs worked out, we are just happy to have it in there to play around with for now.....ALSO, please don't ask us about anything to do with xposed framework as Validus does not support xposed. I saw a couple other things. This first one might be a CM bug, BBS says WiFi is using battery even though WiFi is turned off. Second the the font is black for the options.
I don't have that problem with WiFi. The team knows about the black text.. Not that big of an issue.. Concentrating on 5.1

Yes,but I used the old kernel (this one to be exact - https://github.com/armani-dev/android_kernel_xiaomi_armani) because the new one is still wip.I'll use the new one once it's stable enough.

Hello,
I did the same fastboot commands and fingerprint start working, but actually now I'm facing another issue, my screen doesn't turn on for a while, when I received any notifications while the screen is locked. However, it works fine when the screen is just turned off, but not locked.

I came from the same version, did'nt hurt me
Great rom, been using the 20-Jul build for a week now and it works flawlessly.. only had trouble with the fingerprint sensor, at first it was completely missing, but got it back and working by flashing MIUI8 before flashing this rom.. it seems that it needs some files from MIUI so avoid wiping system, although this may be fixed already in new builds, I can't say..
Anyway great rom great work, updating to latest build.. thanks again developers and builder!

Thanks a million for providing new builds!
BTW @shade, is it possibl to compile this with UBERTC https://plus.google.com/+ChetKener/posts/YzMJEkzPQgp
Here is info how to compile with a specific toolchain http://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/guide-switching-to-custom-toolchain-t2927662
I know you're probably busy but if you find it interesting or fun to add UBER Toolchain to your build i would gladly buy you are beer or two
In return i could give a tip about my app called Auto Flasher. It was featured in XDA Developers TV

How is the picture quality compared to stock? I know from the Sony cm builds that they are much worse compared to stock firmware...

I feel that the picture quality is the same. Actually I kind of prefer the cm camera app since it has more options and is easier to configure. I experienced some lag on one of the builds but it seems to be fixed now.
The reason why the difference is massive on Sony phones is because of the bravia engine which is proprietary and cannot be integrated into CM or AOSP. This should not be an issue on the Mi 5.

Dear shade.sh,
Thanks for the great ROM. It is like oases in the deserts.
I am having a problems with wifi mac address which keep on changing every time I reboot the phone. I tried to use the apps to use my old mac address number which is registered to the office network but it fails to connect.
Please advice how to overcome the random wifi mac address.
Thanks.
