[Q] Freezing apps on S3?

I have a T-Mobile version of Galaxy S3 and I don't want to try out the new rom(s) yet until there are more so I'm staying stock. I'm wondering if you can freeze apps on this phone because I remember you couldn't freeze apps on the Galaxy Nexus.
If you are rooted...you can freeze apps with Titanium Backup.
You can also disable most of them, with a few exceptions. I disabled almost all of the bloatware, the only one I couldn't disable was the "More Services" app.

[Q] AT&T samsung galaxy note 2 samsung apps not working

I downloaded the samsung apps and it does not show anything, and when I sign in just gives me error. Any clues?
I tried downloading too SamsungApps to my phone from various sites that hosted the APK and I get the error, your country doesn't support this. I know SamsungApps is in the play store but it's not the same one! Plus, you can't login to your samsung account with it. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Samsung account version 1.6.0010

I own the sm t217a. Since the samsung account update was forced on me. I have been experiencing sync issues with samsung account. I tried uninstalling my sammy account on it and reinstall. That back fired on me. Now calender and contacts in settings under account have disappeared. They do not show up. I know this tab got a recent android update. I froze it and did not take it. So, question is. Has samsung account sync been hosed now. Is this samungs way of spanking for rooting and freezing knox? Is any one in the same boat I am? I have tried all the usual clearing data and cache. Nothing works.. if the answer is choice of not using sammy apps or updrading? Then I will try to find alternative apps. Thanks for any insite.

Removing apps on unlocked s9

I got my s9 phone today (unlocked). I noticed flipboard and facebook come pre-installed. I did uninstall, but that just uninstalls updates, not the app. Is there any way to totally get rid of these, without having to root or anything?
How do I know if my s9 is the unlocked version?
I also have an unlocked s9 and I ended up using BK manager to simply disable the built-in apps I didn't want.
That's always been a gripe of mine. I can see makers wanting to put their own branded software on a phone but I hate it when they insist on putting apps like Facebook, Flipboard, etc on the phone as system apps. Especially when these apps are easily installed from the store.

Bloatware uninstallable?

I am seriously planning on getting the A50 tomorrow. Can someone comment on the bloatware? Many people say there's many preinstalled apps and pop up ads... I have a huawei and the only thing i can say is wtf if this is true
Bloatware is understandable, but forced popups?
and which of those bloatware apps can be uninstalled and which can't
Any input from owners would be appreciated
Most of the bloatware can be uninstalled. I have not faced any popup ads in 10 days since I bought this phone plus you have Nice catch to take care of it.
There are no ads in the European version. I have seen 0 ads. Most bloat can be removed but Facebook and Linkedin can only be disabled.
The 'pm uninstall' command works over adb on Facebook, Flipboard, Bixby Home, Samsung Max, My Galaxy; but none of the apps actually get uninstalled. Without 'su' access, there doesn't seem to be a way to force uninstall these apps. The only option is to disable them from the 'Apps' menu.
There is no bloatware as such but Samsung Max is ad-supported and makes a mess of the lock screen whereas My Galaxy keeps nagging for installation of Samsung Widget. Disabling these two does the job.
Samsung includes IronSource to install multiple thrid-party apps during the setup process in some regions, so you have to ensure that you don't give your consent. Even then, all these apps are uninstallable later. I had reset my device once after an update and found that the setup process had changed to be less deceptive, so the onus is on you to be aware of what you are doing.

You will be asked multiple times about promotions. Just don't enable those and you will be good to go. I am working on initial setup video which should be out later today or tomorrow.

I have used this device for over 20 days and I haven't seen any ads, there is some pereinstalled bloatware which you can uninstall. Turn off lockscreen stories, go to settings, security, and turn off "receive recommendations", "my galaxy" app just sends stupid notifications just disble it, there are some app recommendations in the game launcher app which I guess you can turn off

Samsung Max displays ads over and above lock screen stories. You can activate only the Premium account which still shows ads when charging. Hence, Samsung Max needs to be disabled as well.
Just buy package disabler pro and youre good to go! I disabled all bloatware automatically (there is an option) and disabled myself crap like bixby, google, chrome, facebook etc.
