[ORGANIZATION] Porting CM10 - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 General

Hello.
I'm starting a project for porting CyanogenMod 10.1(or 10 maybe) for Samsung Galaxy Y, and I will use this topic as organization and recruitment.
Before posting, read this about ME:
1º - I don't promess anything and don't know if this project will go forward(will depend if i go make progress, if people help, have a lot of things).
2º - I'm not a experienced programmer, I have only knowledgs in Java(for android applications, windows applications and LEGO) and aren't much, and web stuff(PHP, HTML, CSS, JS).
3º - I'm brazilian. Actually I'm registered in a English class(but its Basic 3), and don't know much well of the language.
4º - I will try port and organize people to help in this project, but how I said in 2º I don't have much knowledge in porting or something facing to this.
If you hope on me, read this about PROJECT:
1º - Almost all people want help, and make this topic has become disorganized, so: only people who know something useless or want be a tester(maybe you will BRICK your cellphone) will enter in the project.
2º - The project aren't going use the XDA for interaction between their members, because anyone can make a post with a lot of **** here(we will use something like OUR forum).
3º - The release will be TOTALLY free(I'm saying this because today I see one brazilian blog selling jelly bean for galaxy y, and this sucks).
4º - Other rules will be discussed later with the members.
Requeriments:
* Some knowledge in English;
* Some experience in one of the areas;
* One Galaxy Y(seriously?);
* Not have a child's head :cyclops:;

[APP] Balanced - we need a few serious testers!

Hi, Im the dev of Balanced, an app for checking your mobile balance through *100# or *123# commands. It has been in beta for a while here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12348102
And we really need a few testers to iron out bugs!
We are near releasing a pro version and would welcome some testing on the Galaxy S because several errors have been reported, but few ever send usable logs.
Also, we are looking for translations, so if you are interested you can let me know and i will send you the internal pro version for free or put a few bucks in a paypal email for beers.
Come on people, we really need a few serious testers!
Switching to *guinea pig* mod, it's been a while
How can I help ?
PS: I can translate if you need also PM me
Any troubles with the newest patch?

Other handsets with QSC6270 as Call Processor --> Android Port

Lets check other handsets from Samsung for support Android Port:
Modem part = Calls/SMS, etc.
SHW-M130K (confirmed)
Samsung I5801 Apollo or Galaxy 3 (not confirmed/checked by me)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14927492&postcount=1086
Maybe there are "few" more... as we know Samsung.
Please search and post.
Thanx in advance
Best Regards
Maybe also the Samsung i5510 uses the same call processor as I've seen from one site.

Good call adfree .
I'm trying to get some info from the Galaxy 3 community on XDA. They appear to have a good group of android wizards who might (if luck is with us) be able to give us some info. or more hopefully a hand with this..
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=861)
the samsung galaxy k has the same call processor and runs android 2.2
thats the M130K that adfree mentioned although if anyone can point us to some good forums for that device that'd be good I've found a couple of threads in the XDA Galaxy S area... That said, do any of the wizards over there know about the project here ?
QSC6270 have SHW-M130K (korean), GT-I5800 (eur), SCH-I909 (china), SCH-W899 (china)
and our GT-S8500(8530).
document
i have a data sheet and pdf document of this call processor but can not upload it cos its 658 Kb
if its helpful to you i can upload it on file server!

It seems we are lesser souls when it comes to samsung handsets ... What else can we do to help .. I've already tried to reach out to the admins over at http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=861 so far no response... Would a modem.bin file be of use to you ?
Dug out a deodexed rom from their forum ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1141134
Meanwhile any other Samsung handsets found?

Share your sig code please

After some time here on XDA seeing a lot of different signatures and working on my own over time, I think the bulk of mine is pretty settled.
Edit: Thanks to the tip from BIGMOH, I have 110 chars left so just a little tweaking around the edges, maybe one or two more useful links.
Before anyone asks, one of the benefits of the "Recognized" program is a increased sig limit of 1250 chars.
I finally figured out the FLOATRIGHT bbcode after a tip from tonyp so I was able to include the banner but keep the whole sig less than 2 inches tall. I tinyurl'ed everything to squeeze in more useful stuff.
If anybody wants to copy elements of my sig (except the ARHD banner) please feel free. Hopefully FLOATRIGHT or his buddy FLOATLEFT might help reduce some of those 4+ inch tall sigs, please?
If you don't have a signature, click here for help making one.

Please post your sig code if you don't mind sharing. Use noparse /noparse bbcode wrapped around your sig code. I also attached mine as a .txt file to this post. Thank you!

Thanks, that is a good tip, although I am not sure I could fit in anything else to my sig as it is. I already had someone tell me that the links were too close together and he had to try several times to tap the right link, so I tried to organize it in such a way that the links are not right next to each other and they all have some open tappable space.

try have a look at this:

Good luck mate!
So in an attempt to make my signature 'cleaner' looking and removing as much text as possible. I thought "Hey I'll just make images" then I realized that we are limited to 4 images in each signature xD It's good enough for now, I just hope I don't need to add another link to it
I'm thinking I'd probably just make the 'icons' there on the left their own image, float them to the left and then create white ---'s for space and type the link there. To emulate the current configuration using only two images. We'll see. Here's my code:

Own Android ROM - webpage how to create Android ROMs

Hi Xda users!
Today I want to present you my webapge : ownandroidrom.jimdo.com
It's about how to make custom Android ROM by yourself. I create it because when I was noob I don't found any information in guide how it works, why we do it and other. There was only click here do this.
Webpage is not finished yet and it don't have it's own domain, so donations or help will be very helpful.
I can't buy it by myself because i don't have job and 18 years. I got 30 days for free but I need credit card to use it. If someone will register his credit card ill get month of free domain, and after it unregister your cc.
It will be on 2 languages: Russian and English.
If you want help you can: help me with information.
If you don't know anything in Android Developing you can read posts and tell me if you find any grammar mistakes or you don't get something while reading it.
Thank you man...
That's what i was looking for
Thanks man this is great!

I would offer more help, except I'm not sure what else you are asking. Please elaborate.
