changhe launcher is impossile on non-rooted device...
when you are rooted you can use KindleFree for install launchers and gapps....

Why you need the launcher?
It will not work on ICS because it needs other framework files, etc.
To get the JB Launcher you have to download the ROM file and then open system/app and copy the launcher/launcher2 .apk file...
There's not much difference between ics and jb launcher so why you want it? Use ics launcher or flash jb.
And this is wrong section.

Yeah, just download a JB ROM and pull the launcher yourself.
Go down to the Play and Store where you Search Jelly Bean Launcher. I'd also include a reference but as a newbie I can not

i would flsah jb but i have a htc that doesnt have a port yet. because you guys had the official rom i was gunna post the jelly bean launcher in our section and see if someone could make it work.
its the same launcher as ics....

Try using Xposed Module..called "Xblast" but you have to install xposed framework..
Search for it..

Very quick and easy way to make navigation bar transparent is to install launchers from google such as nova launcher. I did it successfully with my UHD rom, below is my screen shot.

Have you tried to install nova launcher as I suggested? Icons, system Ui in my screen are not included in the ROm, I installed them by myself after flashing the ROm.
as topic says really , is there any alternative launcher that will work on new 4k firestick ? tried hal and leanback launcher but they dont work ?

how did you get atv pro to be full versoion on firestick ?
i bought it on my phone then extracted apk but when i sideload on firestick it says application is not licenced ?

Hey were you able to get the widgets option in the launcher to work?
I tried the guides to enable widgets on Fire os but wasn't able to get it to work.

Okay... It seems like it's working most of the time. Sadly autostart not working when I start the stick with the power button on the remote....only when restarting. When the stick is on but idle.. It goes blackscreen after some time.. When I use it again, it also does not auto Load into the atv Launcher. So I always need to press the home button first to bring it up...maybe there's a fix for this? Any ideas?

Thanks. This isn't working for me. I followed the procedure and al it did was remove the ability to view recent apps completely for me. Did you uninstall the OP Launcher before installing the older version OP Launcher? Or did you simply download and install the older OP Launcher without uninstalling the newer version first? Also, I don't appear to have the ability to uninstall OP Launcher.

You should be able to disable the OnePlus launcher with ADB. Give that a try.

You don't really need to uninstall OP Launcher. Just go into the App Info and click on the 3-dot menu in the top-right corner, you'll see the "Uninstall Updates" option.
install an older version from apkmirror on top and you're all set!

Chinese ROM or others?
When using Nova Launcher, swiping up to return home (gesture navigation) first opens the recent tasks screen, moves it one app to the right, then goes to the home screen.
The default launcher works without a problem, but its interface is significantly more cluttered than Nova so I'm hoping that I could keep it

They have blocked it on emui 9 for China models. No way as of now until i missed anything

There is a work around to use it.
First install nova launcher
Then uninstall stock launcher using ADB.
Press on home screen it will ask for default launcher then set nova launcher as your default launcher.
Thus you can use not only nova launcher but any other launcher too.

No, I don't. I find them frustrating and pointless so I can't really give you an answer.
I've got the global version and every time i tried to install a new launcher comes back to the stock launcher and showed me this message
"Smart Recovery
Your phone has just recovered from a serious error caused by "name of the launcher it is strongly recommended that you uninstall this app to make sure your phone returns to a stable state".
I managed to install another launcher, but I do not know what I did that now I get that message

That was a know issue in pie. You will just get the message once. Nothing to worry about it. You can ignore it.
