After A LOT of hard work and research i think i got it working. I was fed up with it before but pjc21 was asking about it so i wanted to help him out and got back at it! Thanks for the motivation!
But i think its working for CleanROM and any 4.1.1 ROM. Hydro and Blue ROMs may have issues. Just let me know thanks!
UPDATE:2/13

Did it force close or just not show up? if it did not show up with no error, you must be on an odexed ROM. And did you flash the zip or extract it and copy it to your device?

I will make an odex version of this.
BTW i have odexed your transformer.apk dock mod so i'll send that over to add to your thread. :good:

That's odd, it should take into effect immediately. Do you have any themes or mods flashed over it? You may need a clean build.
Also, are you on the stock kernel (one that comes with AOKP) or a custom one?

(MOD) WORKING! stock CRT animation!!!!

heres crt animation for stock rom. this one to be exact!
http://www.mediafire.com/?ms3s7uy2oacl9ld
ok guys got it to work but it seems like a hit or miss type of thing if you want i can upload what i have and y'all can manually add it it the rom above or you can wait until i look at it a little more and try to get it 100%
you need to flash the zip and then add these 2 files to system/framework
if you have any themes or mods this will most likely remove them and always do a back up just in case
Don't need to add the files anymore but if you want to make sure than go ahead and do it anyway.
only do this for the rom above!!! files that are attached to post are for the stock deodexed rom!!!!
and heres crt animation as requested for this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1982322
http://www.mediafire.com/?9bcp925ceuy5u3j
credits go to xda senior member sorg and his post if not for the edits of code in that post i would not have been able to do this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1935588

Also on mine not sure about others my led flashes red really quick won't notice unless looking at it and when the little red flash happens you can let go of buttons it will go to recovery. For now I suggest everyone stay away from the animation until i can figure out why it keeps looping.... can't take a look at it today due to work but tomorrow I'm off so hopefully ill get it fixed. Gonna download a custom from today and make it for it tomorrow and see if that helps...

I'm on the N7105 base by cmenard. Flashed your v2.zip and pushed the other two files. CRT worked, but the phone would restart within a minute of bootup everytime. Guess that ROM is a little different than the SGH-T889 version. Coming from a Nexus device, I really miss the CRT animation lol.

Wit v2 you didn't need to push the files or shouldn't have to... did you wipe and fix permissions? This was made for the stock deodexed from that's in the op I'm sure the rooms are different but if need be I could make other ones but would have to be later...

Once again this is made for the stock deodexed rom and no other!!! You may try but don't post problems if it doesn't work... if it works let me know that would be nice

[MOD] Launch any browser from keyboard [UPDATE 5/13/13]

Here you go guys. Seen this asked a bunch of times.
With this mod, when you press the explorer button on your dock keyboard, it will ask you what browser you wish to use.
ISSUES:
Only can go to google.com right now. Figuring out how to simply "launch" the browser without going to google.
Just flash in recovery and you should be good to go
I pulled this from my 4.2.1 ROM but it should work on 4.1.1 as well. If it doesnt work on 4.1.1 let me know i will create a zip for 4.1.1
Thanks guys!
BTW: any other mappings someone wants just let me know.
Thanks!! Sbdags should include this on his ROM! I'm going to try it right away ;D
Hmmmm......
Re: [MOD] Launch any browser from keyboard
Very nice Elesbb. I see that you are putting that dock to good use already. Nice isn't it? I'm glad I that I made the decision to finally get one. Office Depot doing a price match from Best Buy for $49 after i had already paid $119 was an added bonus.

I don't have the 4.2.1 headphone Jack notification updated. The one you flashed was probably for 4.1.
But you should just have to browse to /system/app and delete keyboard.apk as well as keyboard.odex. and it theoretically should work.

Stock LG Keyboard [deodexed]

I know some people have been wanting to use the stock lg keyboard on some roms but have been having crashing problems. This is the stock keyboard working fine. Except the touch sounds and haptic feedback, I'm going to try to see if I can fix that. Anyway, I've tested this on Lifeless v14 only. If anybody tests it on other roms with success let me know.
Drop this into system/app and fix the permissions and reboot. Zip is not flashable
Edit: http://www.mediafire.com/?77xptx7aa7ax8x4
You must have the xposed framework to make the keyboard work.
I've tested on stock deodexed, didn't work.

Force closes right after choosing it, it shows in the language and keyboards menu though. This is an ongoing issue with trying to deodex this keyboard, I believe the issue is in the classes.dex files.

I know. But as far as I know it should close on every deodexed rom. That's why lifeless and imperium don't include it. But it works for me on lifeless. I wish somebody on imperium would test it. So I can see if maybe I'm just lucky, or a stock deodex won't work.

Let us know when u find out, I forgot to tell u the the apk is named LGEIMEbin, and its supposed to be LGEIME, not that it helps to name it correctly but fyi, I will be looking at this as well but so far any deodexing will cause the app to not work on my end, and once deodexed there are a whole bunch of string errors when decompiling the app, hence the issue has to be with the classes.dex file as that's the one that gets added to the file when the app is deodexed, the classes.dex are the odex files in the apk.

Really? Darn I would have thought maybe the systemui had something to do with it. I really didn't stray too far off from stock lifeless. Just changed the lgsystemui and lgsettings. And maybe the apks in the framework folder. But I don't remember if I put them back to the original or not as they seemed to make no difference.

Would love to see the stock keyboard deodexed for 4.1.2. I just created a custom conversation skin pack (still waiting to make ten posts before I can post links) but with the keyboard that is on lifeless it feels like it's way too bulky and takes up too much of the screen and I want to see my HQ backgrounds in all their glory. Also, the stock keyboard allowed me to path off of the screen and add a bit more control to swiped words.

I'm still trying to figure it out. It's hard to pinpoint the problem because it works for me. Now if I had a phone that it didn't work on it'd be easier. But one day at a time I suppose.

[MOD] 25 volume steps for Media and notification! + SmoothScroll

JELLYBEAN 4.2.1 ONLY ***Was tested on JB 4.2.1 may work on 4.1.1 make backup first if you are going to test***
Boost your volume or quite your volume! I hated how the notification volume only had 7 steps, so i modded it to now have 25! Notification volume was so loud for me when trying to talk to people at night. So this mod allows to go quieter than stock as well as louder
Also added smooth scroll hack to disable scroll cache. Scroll cache (when scrolling large info) would take forever to cleanup causing jittery and pausing during scrolling. Now its much smoother.
TO DO: Add volume sliders allways expanded. Meaning, show both notification volume slider as well as media volume slider.
How to install?
Just flash attached zip via TWRP and wipe cache/dalvik and reboot
Extract error
Thanks! I was needing this just yesterday when I was on a Skype call... It will be really useful in the future!
