[Q] Will a Galaxy S3 battery fit my Galaxy Ace 2x (GT-S7560M) ? - Galaxy Ace II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was checking to see if i could swap a S3 2100mah battery inside my S2x (1500mah).
-I checked the voltage, seems to be 3.8V Li-Ion for both (says 4.35v also at the bottom, i'm guessing this is fully charged voltage)
-I checked the physical size:
My 1500mah battery : 60mm x 50mm x 4mm
S3 2100mah battery : ??? Some website says 62.5mm x 50.3mm x 5.3mm but i dont know if accurate...
So can someone confirm to me the physical size of a real OEM S3 battery or just plainly say to me if it works or not ?
Thanks guys, and have a good day !

Well bigger battery (mAh) means bigger size. So expect the s3 battery to be bigger than yours to fit in. Although if u search on amazon there are 1 or maybe 2 trustworthy sellers with higher capacity batteries but always watch out fot scams

I wouldn't risk it unless you know someone with an S3 and they'd let you try putting it in your phone. The physical sizes may be the same but things like the positioning of the connectors and latches to hold it in may be slightly different meaning that even though it fits, it may be loose or not actually have good contact points.

If you swap them, please tell me the result. I'm also interested into putting a bigger battery in my phone. Thank you

2000mah spare battery for htc touch pro 2 sprint perfect fit

Saw this on ebay. Is this possible? perfect fit and 2000mah or bs?
I have not seen it myself, however I know that I am prolly going to order the one that verizon offers when I order my phone tomarrow. The one they sell is 2100 MAH but it comes with a bigger back cover, but doesnt look that bad for $49.99.

Chemically impossible. The best lithium polymer battery provides around .4 watt-hours per cubic centimeter. These batteries appear to be Lithium Ion though, given they have a labeled voltage of 3.7 (unless they internally transform the voltage up to 3.7), so 2000mah is even more impossible given lithium ion batteries in the lab achieve at best .5 watt hours per cubic cm. That 2000mah battery would have to have an energy density of .52 watt hours per cubic cm!
It either would be poking out of your phone and not fit with the normal back, or it isn't actually 2000mah.
Mugen Power Battery for HTC Touch Pro 2 even have more than 3000mAh, so why not?

Because they are physically larger. You can make a higher capacity battery, but you can't have a high capacity battery in the same form factor as the original battery that exceeds the ~1800mah because it is simply not possible (barring some new advance in battery technology).

I don't know if this is the right forum to post this question but here we go...
I have a Wizard (HTC Qtek A9100) Smartphone with ROM Hornet Manilla 4.5 upgraded on December 2008.
Everything is working well except my Deluo Bluetooth GPS.

Yup wrong spot. Maybe you should have posted in the Wizard section or where you got that ROM.

Using A500 battery on the A100? Is it possible?

Would it be possible to buy a battery replacement for the A500 and stick it into the A100? Or are there other factors that make this a no-go?
The battery connectors look the same but I would suggest verifying the pin outs. I would also be concerned about the physical size.

It seem to me a lil bit bigger...
Looks big to me too and the a100 one is shaped weird. I don't even then you can get that shape battery any where else. Was a good idea though. Can you guys tell who manufactures the battery? Text are too small for me to make out.
I tried for some time to find battery replacements, but only found for the A500, W500, and Transformer as of yet.
The interesting thing about the battery is each cell is about the size of an HTC Evo 4g/HTC touch pro2 (I've open my a100 before to fix wifi connection) battery in parallel. There should be a way to get a higher mah batteries of similar size and wire them in parallel to make a longer lasting battery. I think this will be my next project.
So in the service manual it says this
Rechargeable Lithium-ion or polymer battery (Sony 454261 Polymer cell / Sanyo
484462 prismatic cell)
So look up Sony 454261 and I end up here
http://www.ecvv.com/product/2465678.html
Battery spec:
Sony 454261 - 1530mAh (Widely used in PDA, GPS and mobile Phone Battery Pack) New Model Specifications (454261)
Product Lithium Polymer Battery
Configuration Flat Prismatic
Model Number 454261
Battery Capacity Min.1530 / Typ.1590mAh Average
Size 45.2mm X 42.3mm x 6.1mm
Weight 25.0 g Impedance < 40 m.ohm
Nominal voltage 3.7V (Max 3.83V)
What I'm wondering is if they produce a similar size battery with higher mah. Or perhaps another manufacturer with similar size battery with higher mah. Size being or close to 45.2mm X 42.3mm x 6.1mm. Since there isn't much room width wise based on this image.

Maybe thicker battery might work.
Found this. It looks like the one we have in our device is Sonys largest already. Its the 3rd one on this list.

You could make a custom connector and modify the case to clip in and out at the battery. And have easy/quick connect battery access, which would make for quick replacement. Might try it.

[Q] HD2 Battery + ? to become a Galaxy Nexus battery

I was a HD2 user, and both HD2 battery and Galaxy Nexus battery are 3.7V.
So I use two wire to connect the HD2 battery (+)sign and (-)sign to the Galaxy Nexus.
And it work.
Is there any module we can buy to just put the HD2 battery in use ?
Or Do you know how to make one ?

it works eh?... ill have to give it a try also. will have to make some sort of mod for it so a trip to Radio Shack will be in order. of course, would either have to leave battery cover off or "modify" it.
[EDIT] well, battery specs are slightly different:
G- Nexus: 3.7V 6.85Wh
HTC HD2: 3.7V 5.6Wh
so basically the battery will still work of course, it just won't last as long. but considering that the HD2 extended battery is 2400mAh compared to the GN's 2100mAh, it will still last a bit longer + the HD2 battery is only $8 online.
---------------
[EDIT 2] looks like the Droid Bionic is also 3.7V 5.6Wh and found 4000mAh batteries online for $12

[Q] Could someone measure the size of their batteries?

hello everyone
I want to get the S3 extended battery kit, but i'm unsure if it will fit my phone. i have the Japanese S3 (SC-03E) and i've been told that the batteries are different sizes, however i've never seen anything solid or gotten any solid information weather they are different. i've attached some pictures of my battery measurements (inches-left, centimeters-right). could someone please take measurements to see which battery can i buy? even better if someone has the official samsung galaxy s3 extended battery kit.
moreover this thread shows that there are different batteries but it shows no measurements so i have no idea which battery would fit my phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1942765

I have the Hyperion 4200 mAh battery (http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Exte...44&sr=8-7&keywords=galaxy+s3+battery+extended) from Amazon. I measured it with a crappy paper tape so the measurrements may be off by 0.5 mm but this is what it measures - 50 mm wide x 62 mm long x just under 1.1 mm thick.
Hope that helps. If the battery doesn't fit, you can always return it to Amazon. I've had amazing good luck with this one and the one I originally bought for my Charge. Totally satisfied with both.

[Q] Is this 4800mAh battery for the Galaxy s2 I9100 real?

3 questions:
1) Will this battery fit my phone. It looks too big. 2) Will it have any problems due to the fact that it's not an original battery? 3) Is this mAh advertised real or fake?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4800mAh-E...421?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item54005a301d
Seems Fake. but the seller has high positive feedback... im not sure but looks so fake.
1 yes it fits with the back cover provided 2 it works fine 3 its not fake
I use the same battery but only down side is it looks bulky
Sent from my M8HD using XDA Free mobile app
I don't really believe it has 4800mAh.
this will not fit with original back cover.u have to use the back cover provided by them and it will make the phone nearly 3x bulkier.may be not fake because there are batteries like this for galaxy phones.but we cannot tell the quality as it is not official

I have 3500mAh battery in my S2 and I think it´s actually not that big capacity but better than original can play longer games without charging
is there an app that can do a battery run down test ? so we can verify approximate capacity? i'd like to get this as well for longer lasting battery. I don't really mind the bulkiness.
