Requirements:
Must have Root
[*]Custom Recovery Installed (TWRP or CWM)
[*]CROMI-3.4.6-7/CROMi-X-4.6.1/HYDRO 7
[*]ECBM requires one of the 1% Battery zips below unless you already flashed one of the system types from CTM. (1% Battery zip only needs to be flashed once.)
Files affected:
framework-res.apk
[*]SystemUI.apk
[*]Transformer.apk
Instructions:
Download the "1% Battery" zip you wish to use along with "ECBM" copy to internal or external memory, boot into recovery & flash "1% Battery" zip first (this only needs to be flashed once to set system up for 1% batteries) then flash ECBM. Done, Enjoy
(NOTE: If you have already flashed a system type with CTM then no need to flash 1% Battery zip just ECBM)
Changing Battery Images/icons
You can customize the battery images and use whatever battery images you like (provided they are in the correct format) with the following method: (On Windows PC)
Use 7-zip to extract mod to folder.
Browse to battery images in Battery/patch then replace images in all folders in both framework-res (dock images) & SystemUI (tablet images) folders, make sure you replace images with ones of the same name. ie in framework images are named asus_ep_kb....... and in system they are named stat_sys.....
Once done zip back up with 7-zip & flash.
Bugs:
No know bugs, please let me know if you find any.
Note:
The "No Text" removes the battery % text under the battery icons in the notification menu.
Good if using battery icons with % text included like icons above.

Sorry for the late reply, busted my eardrum & been a bit out of it.
There is already an original blue circle battery in the color theme mod, it's the first one on the battery mod page of the installer :good:

Which bootloader and stock rom version are you on? There are many versions of JB 4.2.1
You may be better off using PJC21's colour theme mod instead.

I did the SDcard flash using the V10.6.1.27.5 US firmware file I downloaded from the ASUS site. Doesnt that update the bootloader? Im not sure which BL i have but thats what I put in it. I could check if that version number isnt enough info

Yes that is fine you are on the latest. It means that none of the above will work for you. I just realised that PJC21's colour theme will only work if you are on CROMi-X but check the requirements - it's in the theme forum.

Extended power menu, tried it 5 or 6 times and just got bootloops, so I'm waiting to see if someone else can crack it.
As for transparent statusbar, will look into it
And maybe AOSP Lockscreen?
Change Notification clock to clear white?

I think the rom theme shoul be left snoob.. almost like sdk with % mod on battery, the 2 color wifi/signal for connected/not connected to google, and the rest is good..

I've seen on coredroid for desire hd, the orange bumper when scrolling up and down and that is official sense firmware. I believe it would be possible to add it for galaxy s Ginger roms. That would be huge add.

Kernel for installing can be any at all. And as for kernel with the rom, any other kernel will force bootloops, only one gingerbread kernel at the moment.

Since this CWM update does not update the Bootloaders, the boot sequence has graphics glitches. But allright after that. Just to scare one off

I think 2 app need use another icon to realize.
On ICS 4.0.3 use "Google Gallery" is best
PS:
If you like this icon for stock app, just copy that icon from folder "Gallery2.apk" to "Gallery3D.apk\res\drawable-hdpi" with new name to replace: icon.png , thumb_gallery.png

This MOD is based on faria's 4.1.2-Jelly-bean ROM V5 but SHOULD work on previous versions of his ROM.
All this does is replace the battery icon with a stock style battery icon in blue, it also shows 5% increments to battery power.

Also, I have tweaked a few other icons: Acquiring GPS and Signal strength, these are NOT modified from what is included in farias rom, just tidied up and sharpened.

SystemUI.apk without battery icon
Hi!
I was thinking if it is possible to create a SystemUI.apk without the battery icon. In this way, using the samsung option (show percentage in setting menu), is possible to have in the status bar only the percentage of the battery (with big number!) and the problem I found is solved!
What do you think?

Update 15.11.2013: I will not continue the mod for 4.4+. I just found the xposed framework, which makes it really easy to mod the battery icon and the whole statusbar by yourself on odex and deodex roms.
Here is my 1% Battery Mod for the Nexus 4.
The icons are based on the icon packs here, but i made them slightly bigger.

Instructions
Install:
Make a nandroid backup
Flash the zip with CWM or whatever you prefer
Profit
Uninstall:
Make a nandroid backup
Flash the proper "Revert to Stock SystemUI" zip with CWM or whatever you prefer

Modify icons yourself
You can easily use your own favorite battery images by replacing the battery images in systemUI.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi inside of the zip. Make your own images or use one of these packages. See the little tutorial here.

PA3+ is ParanoidAndroid 3.X
I thought something like that. I guess a mod for the stock rom wont work with a custom rom like paranoid android, will it?

By the way: I already reuploaded the zips without the systemUI.odex, so the deletion of it is no longer necessary. The zips should work right out of the box

Hmm twrp shouldnt matter I think.
Which zip did you try to flash? wkkenneth flashed "NEXUS 4 - battery mod - 4.2.2 ODEX - Off Center.zip" and it worked. Give that zip a try, maybe I messed something up with the other versions of the odexed zips.
[VRTHEME][GROUPER][KRT16S][KOT49H] ICS Blue Icons, Softkeys, Clock & Battery Theme
After upgrading to stock Android 4.4 I found that the battery icons are not SystemUI pngs like before, so I couldn't simply make an updated version of my 1% Animated Battery Mod for this rom.
I've built a new VRTheme template that works on Android 4.4 and used it to make a flashable zip that will change most of the statusbar and pulldown icons, softkeys, clock & battery colour to ICS Blue.
The percentage is now built into the rom and although it isn't enabled by default, it can be enabled by flashing the latest battery percent apk by @kroegerama
The VRThemes should be flashed using either TWRP or CWM recovery but, as usual, take a Nandroid backup before flashing

After my OTA update to KRT16S failed because core files had been changed, I've updated the "Revert to Stock Themes" so that they replace the themed apks with their stock versions so that OTA updates can be taken.
Thanks for posting this, I was starting to miss the blue from jb. The white on Kit Kat is pretty boring. When they put out the official update for this device they did a piss poor job when it came to theming it right. Thanks again, this helps out a lot.

Yep, as I expected - the theme updates resources.arsc from SystemUI.apk and this is different in 4.4.2 KOT49H

I didn't have a KRT16H upgrade option so this won't be possible.
I will do a KOT49H though.

I've now updated to 4.4.2 KOT49H and made new versions of the theme for it.
There's the standard Grouper 4.4.2 KOT49H Blue VRTheme and there's also a version for deodexed stock 4.4.2 KOT49H which has the battery percentage pre-enabled.
Both versions have revert to stock zips to go with them.

ATM, I'm running Xposed + GravityBox on it and it looks like a lot of my theme is already covered.

I did some fiddling about with my '7' running 4.4.3 KTU84L stock.
I wanted to see if the Blue eyes popups worked and I'm pleased to say they do.
SS attached - If anyone interested, give me a shout and I'll make up a collection of them for the '7'.
