I had a similar problem on my stingray. Make sure your using the eos gapps. I did a full wipe including system, flashed rom, flashed eos gapps, wiped cache and dalvik and then rebooted. Running like a boss!

Are there any themes that work with this ROM?
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk HD

good question.. i tried the black infinitum but it gave me an error.. i should try a workaround before saying that really doesnt work but if anyone has a theme that works fine, please let us know

Skycore on the market works great. Excellent theme. Themes just about everything.

Thank you so much for showing love for the outdated wingray!

Just found that if you change the DPI to 200 and then apply the theme it will work, then just change it back and everything sticks

Been running since yesterday it's great with very small glitches like pay music does give me the option to rewind and fastfoward by sliding vat but only sometimes other then that phenomenal

i think i'm having a similar issue to others: i flashed this (in TWRP, after factory reset and system wipe) then the EOS gapps, but I had no Play Store and it didn't go through the Android Initial Setup
I also tried rebooting to recovery and flashing the EOS gapps again, but same problem.
As an aside, flashing this ruined my nandroid backup of CM10.1. When I did the factory reset and restored CM, it was a half CM/half orca, completely non-working frankenstein. I ended up re-wiping and starting fresh.

I posted the solution a few posts back......do a wipe of everything, flash ROM a gapps..boot up and then shut down and reflash ROM and gapps without wiping....everything should be gravy

Is anyone else having issues setting up custom nav ring target shortcuts? If I set the number to be greater than 1, set shortcuts, nothing shows up. Only works if I leave it at one shortcut.

I concur, this solution worked for me. Flashed rom+gapps(eos), booted with no gapps, attempted to just flash gapps, no dice. Reflashed rom+gapps(eos) dirty and worked great. I did first try flashing overtop of eos but that was a no go,
Loving the rom so far. It seems very very smooth, lots of options and such built-in which is great.
Someone needs to make a kick-ass boot animation for this. Maybe an orca spurting water out it's blowhole or swimming across the screen. I have no artistic abilities(before someone tells me to make one) .

loving this rom.. ITSSS SOOO BUTTERYYYYYY! Oh, I should mention, it's only perfectly buttery on tablet mode. On phone mode it won't be perfectly smooth. Also, on the battery bar, is it only supposed to take up a third of the screen on tablet mode? I feel like it should cover the entire horizontal length of the screen

I can confirm this is the smoothest of the 4.2 roms. Few bugs here and there but stable for use as a daily driver.

1. When booted fully and looking at Mobile Networks Mode it was set to WCMDA and it should be LTE / CMDA not sure if this is a build.prop thing or something else. If You use the LTE toggle it fixes it so thats not a big deal. So the 2 Network modes for Toro are (default- LTE / CMDA) and Secondary with LTE Off is- CDMA / EvDo
- Thanks formula84!
2. Phone app -> settings gives a FC

Just flashed. Very impressive ROM, so far!. I like the boot up animation and the wallpaper selection.
For anyone flashing, make sure you go into settings and change your network to LTE/CDMA. Default is incorrect.
Thanks for the great work!
Edit: phone settings crashes. May be a deal breaker

After you change the setting for LTE you should reboot then it should be fine. This used to happen in older cm builds.

Sorry fellas forgot to add that the phone settings crashing in this build is a known bug introduced upstream. I've not had a chance to look at why yet. A logcat would be useful

This is not limited to the Toro build. I am going to try to grab the phone app from your rom prior to the latest commit and see if that works.

Downloading now... but...
If you can change DPI per app, wouldn't we need a gapps similar to pa-gapps? I was under the impression that pa-gapps were different from the normal gapps because it includes the different versions of the apps (like phone, phablet, and tablet UIs of say, gmail)

Erm good question - When I build tonight I will let you know the answer! If not I'll check for updates to xposed before building as I think they are just prebuilt APK's added into the zip with an intent in the settings menu

Hi Guys ermm bad new I'm afraid.
Just tried to build but as Rootbox uses external sources for some apps e.g. DeskClock from CM which is already upgraded to 4.2.2 (new SDK version) I can't build things yet. Sorry guys will have to wait until 4.2.2 is merged.
I'll of course update you as soon as it is!

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
This will be a 'barebones' rom. What is that you may ask? Well, I will be REMOVING anything that I feel unnecessary or that a Playstore App could replace. Just to hold you guys down until Austin's done with Halo. I'm aiming for speed, performance, and nothing else. BAREBONES!
Features:
Based off Previous ION built Nighlty by Rukin
Built in 'Barebones' GAPPS
Many Build.prop Tweaks (All Added for PERFORMANCE and RAM)
Koush's Built in SuperUser (fully working)
TORCH tile is finally here. Wasn't that hard to enable actually.
Centered the Clock (personal preference)
Google Play Edition Camera and Gallery
Re-Enabled Bluetooth (still not fully functional) and LiveWallpapers, Included SunBeam form the HTC One GPE Dump

So far so good. Here's my quarrels with it:
1. Its too fast
2. No Google Search on home screen. Not a big deal for me since I rarely use it, but others might have a problem with it. I'm guessing Google Now is broken in Cm10/Rhythmic?
3. No torch panel in quick settings. But no biggie.

As I mentioned in the OP anything unnecessary will be removed. The Google Search bar can be recovered by installing Google Search from the PlayStore.
Secondly, all add the torch to the quick settings as I use it myself quite a lot. Thanks for the feedback.

Awesome, thanks for that! This rom is amazing! I haven't installed any mods and this rom is still running smoothly. My phone now eats multi-tasking for breakfast. :cyclops:
Installed it this morning (with Crossbreeder) and am surprised at how much faster this is than RhythmicROM, which was the fastest ROM I'd tried before this one. If I see any errors or glitches I'll post them, but aside from the ones noted it's been running flawlessly so far.
How noticeable is cross breeder? I haven't installed it yet and my connection speeds are really good.

It doesn't look like the included kernel supports the new radio version. I had to flash the boot.img from the 1.2e Rhythmic updater to get it to stop rebooting. You might want to provide an OTA-compatible kernel that incorporates Simon's changes, as well.

Gapps just broke on me. i would provide a log cat but I'm at work. it happened right after I installed Crossbreeder. i uninstalled it and the problem persists so im not sure if it was crossbreeder or not.

What were you doing? It shouldn't be Crossbreeder as I've been running it since day one. Are you on the new Radio? Try reflashing but installing Crossbreeder just after your first boot (after you set up everything but not after you install something from the Playstore).
This might be the best Primo C ROM we've had yet. Super fast, super smooth, and battery life so far is amazing. I flashed this morning around 8 and now at 5 I'm at 80% with moderate use (lots of texting, plus downloading and installing all my apps after flashing).

Thanks! Downloading now.
Edit: I know nightly releases come out fast, but to rule out bad downloads do you all provide MD5s for your nightlies?

We do not but that's not a bad idea. I'll bring it up with the team. Thanks :good:
Awesome going to download when I get home from work, haven't used Gummy since I had a Nexus S 4g. It was my go to rom

This is in no way official, but for the 12-10-13 Nightly build for D2spr I downloaded the file twice to verify consistency over wired internet from the link provided and I got:
MD5: ddf85e430a485bea040d35da9af6789c
I just posted this for people who are going to download it and can ensure the download is good before flashing it. I was having a problem a few days ago with Android File Host, but I think since I got the same checksum twice this might be the correct one. I hope this helps someone and @hedwig34 feel free to add this to the OP if you can verify the same MD5. I'm going to check my PA-Gapps and flash this bad boy!
Wifi is broken on 12-11, otherwise setup went normally. Clean install. I need wifi, so can't test other features right now... Thx, OP. Glad to see Gummy back in the game! :good:
I can say definitively that 12-10-13 is running great on my phone. Wifi, 3g, front and rear cameras, and the ROM overall is very smooth. I especially like the smooth transition I'm getting between swiping left for Google Now and back to the home screen. I expected my phone to react slowly, but it didn't. I really don't want to flash 12-11-13 just in case it does have an issue Great work on this ROM, you and your team did a really great job.

Just flashed 12-11-13 with a clean wipe and I had Wi-Fi during setup. I'll keep testing the 12-11 build, but so far it seems stable.
Running this on my galaxy nexus. Never thought it would be available for this device too. Awesome! Downloading now

EDIT: Had Screen little screen flickering after i activated Dev Settings; as a press a key on the keyboard it would go black following along with the haptic. not sure if that makes any sense, but i did had screen flickering when typing. nothing major, just some observations. running latest nightly btw
I'm on 12/11 and never been smoother the first install had some glitches in screen when swiping but i flashed ktoonzes and its a solid.. It could be a issue with stock kernel

Weird... I installed 12-10 clean (same wipe as 12-11) and have working wifi. Tried to then dirty up to 12-11 and lost wifi - it stalls out "looking for wifi." Same as on the clean install. Also getting graphical glitches regarding text fields. SwiftKey doesn't F/C, but screen blacks out and reverts home from GNow or Play Store or wherever... Using latest CWM and stock kernel, then trying BMS as a fix.

Apparently this ROM was made for my phone. I also use swiftkey and it's been working well. I did attempt to use leankernel and got some screen flickering so I flashed back to the stock kernel. I'm not sure why I'm having all the luck. I was on Touchwiz prior to this ROM and I erased my internal storage before flashing this. That is the only thing I could think that I might have done differently from you all. I also let the ROM settle longer than 10 minutes (I was watching Family Guy), maybe it gives Wi-Fi a little longer to set up?
Edit: I found the black-screen bug you were talking about. I wasn't noticing it in SMS, but when I went to type in a search under the play store and swiftkey opened it happened 3 times in a row and then stopped altogether. I checked my logs, but nothing suspicious showed. I got some screen flickering when using the browser with swiftkey, but it seems like swiftkey is the culprit because I used the AOSP keyboard and there was no screen flicker. Good catch guys, I hope Swiftkey releases an update for 4.4.1 since I can't find it listed as supported under their changelog.
Lovely Rom... Only thing I would can't find is how to change the lock screen background.??
Can it be done?

I think because the lockscreen is transparent it doesn't have its own wallpaper setting like Touchwiz has. I did go through and look, but I didn't see any options to change it.

Where the hell is Neenah?

This is my first nightly download.. So I have a question if I flash the updated nightly, each time I do- Do I have to set my phone all up again ....???

If you wipe data before flashing you will have to set up again. Whether you wipe data or not you will still need to flash gapps.
That said. Wiping data is recommended.

Wanted to report two bugs I encountered on 4.4.2 from the 12-12-13 Nightly:
- When running AnTuTu benchmark I get a reboot between 14-21% into a full test. Initially I was able to get the test to pass by killing Android Tuner and spamming the screen every few seconds, but now that method fails as well.
- I installed ChompSMS to act as my default messenger app and when I choose it as default the AOSP messenger app notification appears at the top and won't go away unless I select it as default, clear it, and then re-enable Chomp. Nevermind, this one was caused by the random reboot caused by AnTuTu (it didn't save my settings after the hard reboot and I had a pending message).
I did install with a clean wipe (system, data, cache), no custom kernel, and only a few programs restored from backups.
Can anyone else verify these issues?
I tried running 12-12 but everytime I try to call the number for the data it says its unsuccessful? Any help?

Love this ROM. All the customization available is fantastic. The only thing I would request is something for the o click. Omnirom has a feature that you can control music. Is that possible to add?
Also, small bug, but I think it's a CM problem. When restarting the phone, some options are forgotten. I have the o touch option 'long press to activate Canberra' turned off, but upon restarting it is turned on, but the box remains unchecked. The same happens if I use expanded sound controls. Upon restart it's back to default but the checked option is still on expanded.
It's not a huge problem, just gets a little irritating
I'll see what can be done with o-click. The music stuff was built all by maxwen I believe so I'll have to see if its something that be added.
I haven't had the settings revert, but I haven't set too many things either. I'll have to play with it some more and see what's up. If it is cm, we'll have to see if they can fix it or figure out what's causing it to be able to help cm patch it.

I was on CM11 before I switched to PAC and this issue was present there too, so I assumed it was a CM issue.
Ah well then. Good to know. Thanks.

Tablet ui is no longer possible. Google removed it when we went to 4.4. They wanted a more unified ui.

Mine was virgin uk which uses t-mobile and orange network, which is EE now.
Update: I tried your rom again today and faced with the same problem that I couldn't connect to network (virgin uk). I also tried cfxe rom and it worked, connected to network straight away.
Sent from my N1 using Tapatalk
I'll test the latest and see if something is up. Haven't had a chance to flash the latest for a little bit.
Edit: It flashed and is working fine for me. Pulled my network straight away. Try this. Try pulling the apns XML file from cfx and putting it into PAC and see if that helps. Its in the /etc folder.
2nd edit: I don't have service either. Something is wrong with the build I'll see if I can figure it out. Roll back to an older release.

Thanks for looking up and I hope you can fix the problem. I quite like the ui and will try it when you fix it.

Here you go my friend. Test it out and let me know if it works for you. It worked for me.
Use a root explorer and browse to /etc, then add the .bak extension to the apns.xml file. Once done copy the new file into the same directory. Match permissions for the files and reboot.
Hopefully it works for you too. Still trying to figure out what has changed.

Fantastic. I'll try the rom again later today with the file and will let you know the result. Thanks!
Update: This is awkward. I flashed your rom again and this time it connected to the network straight away, without replacing the apn file. I have no idea how this could happen.
Update 2: I said that too quick. After a few reboots, I hit the same problem. So I replaced the anp file with the one you supplied and it fixed.
Update 3: This is frustrating. Now it doesn't connect to the network again.

I'm at a loss now. I haven't had it lose signal on mine like it did for you yet. Can you pull a log for me just in case there is something in it causing the issue? I'm more confused now then before. Also will you check to see if any apn's are listed in settings under mobile networks for me.

I noticed it says it has all the features from SlimKat V3. Slimkat stopped working for Herc's not long before they released V3, people were getting black screens and other boot fails. I wonder if we're getting it now because of those features. This is pure conjecture of course but might be helpful in fixing the issue.
