Mine

Love this ROM. All the customization available is fantastic. The only thing I would request is something for the o click. Omnirom has a feature that you can control music. Is that possible to add?
Also, small bug, but I think it's a CM problem. When restarting the phone, some options are forgotten. I have the o touch option 'long press to activate Canberra' turned off, but upon restarting it is turned on, but the box remains unchecked. The same happens if I use expanded sound controls. Upon restart it's back to default but the checked option is still on expanded.
It's not a huge problem, just gets a little irritating

I'll see what can be done with o-click. The music stuff was built all by maxwen I believe so I'll have to see if its something that be added.
I haven't had the settings revert, but I haven't set too many things either. I'll have to play with it some more and see what's up. If it is cm, we'll have to see if they can fix it or figure out what's causing it to be able to help cm patch it.

I was on CM11 before I switched to PAC and this issue was present there too, so I assumed it was a CM issue.

Ah well then. Good to know. Thanks.

Tablet ui is no longer possible. Google removed it when we went to 4.4. They wanted a more unified ui.

What carrier? It pulled mine without issue.
Sent from my N1 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Mine was virgin uk which uses t-mobile and orange network, which is EE now.
Update: I tried your rom again today and faced with the same problem that I couldn't connect to network (virgin uk). I also tried cfxe rom and it worked, connected to network straight away.
Sent from my N1 using Tapatalk

I'll test the latest and see if something is up. Haven't had a chance to flash the latest for a little bit.
Edit: It flashed and is working fine for me. Pulled my network straight away. Try this. Try pulling the apns XML file from cfx and putting it into PAC and see if that helps. Its in the /etc folder.
2nd edit: I don't have service either. Something is wrong with the build I'll see if I can figure it out. Roll back to an older release.
Sent from my N1 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Thanks for looking up and I hope you can fix the problem. I quite like the ui and will try it when you fix it.
Sent from my N1 using Tapatalk

I fixed my build using a different apns file. I can upload the one I used so you can use the build if you'd like. Its really simple to add it in

Here you go my friend. Test it out and let me know if it works for you. It worked for me.
Use a root explorer and browse to /etc, then add the .bak extension to the apns.xml file. Once done copy the new file into the same directory. Match permissions for the files and reboot.
Hopefully it works for you too. Still trying to figure out what has changed.

Fantastic. I'll try the rom again later today with the file and will let you know the result. Thanks!
Update: This is awkward. I flashed your rom again and this time it connected to the network straight away, without replacing the apn file. I have no idea how this could happen.
Update 2: I said that too quick. After a few reboots, I hit the same problem. So I replaced the anp file with the one you supplied and it fixed.
Update 3: This is frustrating. Now it doesn't connect to the network again.

I'm at a loss now. I haven't had it lose signal on mine like it did for you yet. Can you pull a log for me just in case there is something in it causing the issue? I'm more confused now then before. Also will you check to see if any apn's are listed in settings under mobile networks for me.

I had a similar problem on my stingray. Make sure your using the eos gapps. I did a full wipe including system, flashed rom, flashed eos gapps, wiped cache and dalvik and then rebooted. Running like a boss!

Are there any themes that work with this ROM?

good question.. i tried the black infinitum but it gave me an error.. i should try a workaround before saying that really doesnt work but if anyone has a theme that works fine, please let us know
Skycore on the market works great. Excellent theme. Themes just about everything.
Thank you so much for showing love for the outdated wingray!

Just found that if you change the DPI to 200 and then apply the theme it will work, then just change it back and everything sticks

i think i'm having a similar issue to others: i flashed this (in TWRP, after factory reset and system wipe) then the EOS gapps, but I had no Play Store and it didn't go through the Android Initial Setup
I also tried rebooting to recovery and flashing the EOS gapps again, but same problem.
As an aside, flashing this ruined my nandroid backup of CM10.1. When I did the factory reset and restored CM, it was a half CM/half orca, completely non-working frankenstein. I ended up re-wiping and starting fresh.

Is anyone else having issues setting up custom nav ring target shortcuts? If I set the number to be greater than 1, set shortcuts, nothing shows up. Only works if I leave it at one shortcut.

I concur, this solution worked for me. Flashed rom+gapps(eos), booted with no gapps, attempted to just flash gapps, no dice. Reflashed rom+gapps(eos) dirty and worked great. I did first try flashing overtop of eos but that was a no go,
Loving the rom so far. It seems very very smooth, lots of options and such built-in which is great.
Someone needs to make a kick-ass boot animation for this. Maybe an orca spurting water out it's blowhole or swimming across the screen. I have no artistic abilities(before someone tells me to make one) .
loving this rom.. ITSSS SOOO BUTTERYYYYYY! Oh, I should mention, it's only perfectly buttery on tablet mode. On phone mode it won't be perfectly smooth. Also, on the battery bar, is it only supposed to take up a third of the screen on tablet mode? I feel like it should cover the entire horizontal length of the screen
I can confirm this is the smoothest of the 4.2 roms. Few bugs here and there but stable for use as a daily driver.

Not going to lie, not familiar with that kernel. But you may use any cm11 4.4.x compatible kernel. Anything else will result in bootloop

Um that's kinda the HF theme to it. You can change it but you'd need a root browser and a new image.

The slider we opted for our HF logo. Yes we want center clock too. That's on the list to be added.
For nav bar, does it do anything? Like the option gets checked then unchecked? Can you be a but more specific please.
As for LCD density not working, how are you attempting to change it?

Hello HOX users, now that the PAC team has published PAC 4.4, I'm allowed to do so myself
This is very stable for my light usage, although it's still in alpha stage
How I built this ROM
I simply downloaded the PAC 4.4 repository, and the CM HOX device files, and built the ROM :victory:
That means this is an unofficial build, but is a clean PAC build. If it happens and I add something not found in original PAC, then I'll announce it here.
So, what are you waiting for? scroll down and download the perfect ROM for your device :good:
Oh and please donate if you appreciate this work, thanks
For features contained in this ROM, please read here. Thanks to MaDc0w for creating those posts about the features

Glad you asked that question
Sadly, I'm not allowed to publish PAC 4.4 right now, because PAC team doesn't allow it. They still consider that the kk version of PAC is alpha a.k.a not ready yet. I don't think you'd want someone to release your unfinished work
The moment they announce that people can publish PAC 4.4 , expect to see a version for HOX. You can count on that, I promise:thumbup:

When does Settings FC? Every time you open settings app or only when you click on a specific option in settings?
Notification drawer background doesn't work. This is a known bug of PAC 4.3 (which will be fixed in 4.4 once it's released )
Added to the bugs list, thanks for confirming it

Great news! Seems that PAC team will start publishing PAC 4.4 next week
That means it is possible that I'll be allowed to make my 4.4 builds public for HOX users
I'll keep you updated on what happens.
Be excited, be very excited!
Oh and in case you notice the signature, yes i finally received my HOX, and I'm trying to resolve the boot issue noted by the fine testers. Let's keep our fingers crossed

man.... the speaker volume is so low. i cant explain how low it is. its even hard to hear songs with the speaker. i cant figure out what is the problem. i know that cm based ROMS for HTC one x always had low speaker volume but this much low? this is so not good. i missed all my calls today. i even installed viper4android. no change. how is this possible. i even used a hair dryer on my speakers. no change. how can i fix it. please help me. i really love this rom but sound has to be better. i am sure others are facing normal sound. i think its only me. it can be a hardware issue but this is rare since i never dropped phone nor did it ever hit anything, what can i do boss?

You said you installed V4A, but did you set it up properly:what:
I find it hard to believe that a 20 db gain won't solve your problem
If you're sure you're doing everything right, then back up your rom and flash stock, then you'll know for sure if it's hardware or software, but in both cases, flash PAC directly afterwards:sly:
EDIT: it's pretty simple
1. install V4A, run once and install drivers
2. reboot
3. run V4A, open the menu and click ui setting, then expert
4. reopen V4A, enable V4A for Phone Speaker
5. go down a bit till you see EXTRA LOUD, enable it and play with the settings there till you find the sound is now loud enough for you
6. you can also play a bit with MASTER GATE (Output Gain, up to 6dB)
If that doesn't work for you then I think you have a hardware problem

I noticed it says it has all the features from SlimKat V3. Slimkat stopped working for Herc's not long before they released V3, people were getting black screens and other boot fails. I wonder if we're getting it now because of those features. This is pure conjecture of course but might be helpful in fixing the issue.

Going to build again tonight for both devices. If anyone still has this on their phone would you quick flash with an alternate kernel on top and let me know if it boots all the way. I think it might be the kernel or tool chain I'm using to build.
