Advance power menu for Sense Gingerbread 2.3.5 EU
I reversed engineer salsa port rom smali's and patch some codes in wildfire s gb rom, took me 2 days to complete studying the blueprints.
Requirements:
-ROM should be deodexed
DOWNLOAD
How to install:
Flash zip in Recovery - takes time to boot
I also made a new ROM with these feature it is also deodexed see in my Custom ROM thread.
DON'T FORGET THE THANKS BUTTON

Edit: works perfectly. If you don't mind, I'll have insink71 throw this in his next build.

Nice work. There a guy on glacier's forum that has built the wifi calling into the kernel from salsa. This dev stuff gets better and better. Nice kernel; nice mod. Mind if I use and credit you?

Can't you please provide this power menu for the odexed rom?
Had no advantage in terms of speed by changing to deodexed because Data2SD doesn't like my phone/memory card.
I use your odexed rom with kernel from 12/01/12, Link2SD, AGPS-fix patch, MMS language patch and I love it.
I saw the power menu working and would really appreciate if you could provide an odexed version. Thanks for your roms. I praise your reverse engineering skills and all the work you've done.
Would be happy to buy you some beers... I'm serious!

Well, all these great mods require to be deodexed.
This mod is applied to android.policy.jar, an odex rom contains this file and also the same odex file. Modding the first file would result in a not booting rom.
So deodexed rom or nothing.
hey m cooking a rom in dsixda's kitchen.. just for my need and not for people..
when i deodex my rom i cooked then it takes hell lot of time to boot..
so can you just tell me which files are needed to be deodexed for this ?

Is it the beta 2.0.1 version with the OC Kernel
And it can be used for every HTC device. You can reinsert another system.img so you can use every Rom you ever had

@ONeill123-plz advise people to wipe data before using this......i got stuck at the boot animation while installing....It booted completely only on wiping data

and the answer to the question why:
because this installer is like a RUU (Rom Update Utility). That means, that your data has to be stored to use in the newer version of the rom, too. Without backup or something else.

Never tried, not implemented yet, and as I know there is no such thing as a flashable zip to enable it.
I used it with a2sdx from amarullz (as I mentioned on your other thread ) and it worked quite well.

I also used that A2SD script when I ran MIUI GB and it worked great, the link is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1555496 just flash from recovery

You have a flashable zip at the end of the page, flash it after you flash rom, with or without reboot.

does anybody have a bug with the auto brighness not sticking and the gps , the gps have to reboot to get a fix , other than that the rom rocks , well i put some tweaks that i have , but great rom , thanks for the rom

Try kwbr rom but before flashing, wipe data/ dalvic cache and make a factory reset.
Backup everything before.

Jokersdroid 4.3 seems to be pretty dam good.had the same issue and I went in cwm app and fixed permissions and rebooted and all was well...there is no xposed installer app for sense roms correct? Because that really sucks and is the only reason i revert back to gb roms.

Yeah rempuzzle is far best sense ROM for the HTC Buzz
Also what recovery did you use to flash Jokerdroid 4.3, did you also wipe data, cache, dalvik cache?
Also i'm xposed installer only works with some sense ROMS if they have the permissions in the ROM, not sure if there are any permissions in Jokerdroid 4.3.
Also GB ROMS, are outstanding towards all, including sense, aokp, cm9

You sould try to flash 4..0 .recovery its stable' and then wipe everything to do a clean install , i suppose..,I don't have a clear image of what excactly steps you followed.:good:
