I've tried it and it is really nice, but I uninstalled it because it consumed too much battery and ram. The final version when it comes out I will definitely try again

I use it, it works pretty good.

I installed this launcher to try the Chrome OS theme from mycolorscreen, The Launcher is pretty good, but i just cannot leave the fast and fluid stock one.
http://mycolorscreen.com/2013/03/23/os-transfer/

Likes good...has anybody got it to work on Nexus 7?
Edit: never mind I got it working on Nexus 7

Nice launcher, but it needs a bit more development.

This is amazing. Just downloaded it and it runs beautifully and love how it comes pre set up.

Rather confusing launcher, I think I will try it out again and try to get the Chrome theme on it, but honestly wasn't impressed.

This is not just another launcher. A completely new launcher.
Congrats guys, very innovative. More innovative than apple and Samsung all together

Gotcha, now after watching the tutorial video I see the potential this launcher has. Great work!

Just a very very good launcher, I'm impressed !
Buy it's very annoying to have to download a lot of gadgets for it to be perfect.
And some french traduction of the main app and of the widget are awful, that makes the application hard to configure.

battery
it indeed eats too much battery...but i have to admit, it does look good

yea it does eat battery on more ram but wait till they sort that out i think mite be up there with nova apex ect one day

second thought: after a couple of days using this launcher and paying close attention to the battery usage, I have to say that it does not drain as much as i thought. I guess it depends on what homepack you download/use.
This launcher really makes my phone a lot better looking, with very little time and energy. And the customization freedom is huge!
I have now officially uninstalled Go Launcher.

Its alot closer to SSL Launcher but in a clean more user friendly interface. Can't wait for it to be stable now. I put the Chrome theme on it that was shared earlier and its sick! Trying to replicate the Chrome theme on other launchers like Apex and Nova using Multi-Live Wallpaper and its becoming even more tedious. This makes things alot easier when creating a theme for mycolorscreen.

Corrupt colors and textures.. I was seeing alpha channel instead with some textures.

Beautiful and innovative home screen, high battery+ram usage, boring app drawner

This is a fantastic tool for customization, a congratulations to the app developers on this one. Let's hope it catches on and we get an influx of themes.

SPB Shell 3D

i've just installed SPB shell 3d on my ZTE blade, and i got to say it is a waste of money. It is very unpractical and useless. Sure it runs suprisingly fast and smooth on the blade (600mhz Cyanogen Mod 2.3) but it is very usless. Its just alot of eye candy and doesnt do much.
The WinMo 3.5 is much better! I am going to try it on my Tab, but just for fun. The SPB shell is a battery resource hog, and is very unpractical.
Share your opinions!
I liked it, but i only tested it ofr about 10 minutes.
But i believe you're right... should not be very practical.

yes and now my battery drains really quickly!
man, use free Zeam Launcher instead:
market.android.com/details?id=org.zeam&feature=search_result
Its pretty good imo. My wife have used it from the start and i have tried it out some. Its easy, runs smooth, nice widgets, nice folders and the battery life have if anything gone up.
Im hoping they will add some more widgets and make it tab friendly with landscape and some more settings.
I used it on and of, didn't like it at the start but is more or less getting use of it. Works better after the last upgrades and with a Heap size of 48 rather that 32.
I bought this app and after 1 month tried Go launcher and love it.
SPB has some nice effects but once you get over that you find it isnt as good as others sadly.
Really nice but unpractical launcher, but no chance it worths almost a tenner for a launcher

Nice, that's all there is to SPB Shell 3D. It sucks memory, reeeaaaalllly slow start at startup. Go Launcher is free and fast.
The concept is interesting, but it needs to adapt to many daily needs most users have.
Bling wise, it is awesome, but compare it to some other launchers, Go for example, and SPB lacks important features.
I had it for a while, when i was using Win Mobile. I can`t see any significant difference between the windows and android version, so i can confirm that it is a lot eye candy and not so practical. In my opinion, the best shell is the original shell!
Ya it always crash...

Quick question:
Every time I open the app drawer in SPB Shell 3D, it starts at the top of the screen.
Now, I have a lot of apps, and if I want to open some at the bottom of my list, I have to scroll all the way down every time.
Is there any way to make Shell's launcher "remember" the position of the last opened app and start from there, instead of making me scroll all the way from the beginning?
SPB Shell is bad for ZTE
thank you very much for your work friend.

spb shell? is it worth the cost?

16 dollars is alo to pay for an application especially a home screen replacement i would just like to know if there are any spb users out there is it really worth it?
It's visually entertaining. Other than that it's crap and not worth the price tag.

I didn't like it ...yea it was very pretty and all....but very slow and got real boring after just a few minutes. Not worth the money IMO
Have you tried "GO"? Its free, there are free themes, and an add-on that will put a little circle with a number on the according dock icon to tell you how many missed calls/txt/voicemails you have.
Nothing beats ADW EX

No it is absolutely not worth it. That's mine (and alot of others) opinion of course, but it's certainly not. It barely has any customization, so basically its like having a stock android launcher, with a few built in widgets that do 3d tricks, and the pretty 3d carousel view. Other than that, it doesn't do anything special besides eat alot of memory, battery life, and money out of your pocket. Mine friend bought it, and it was a total waste he's back on ADW Ex.
That depends on if you really like what it does.
If you "love it", then yah, it is worth it, as a launcher can reshape your entire phone interaction.
I got it for my GF, and she loved it on her EVO, but when I upgraded her to the ET4G, I switched her to ADW Ex, mainly so her new phone looks just like my Epic, (except a pink theme)
Would I buy it again,... probably.
Mainly because I jump on every launcher, given the massive changes launchers can do, I cant resist checking out each new one as soon as I get the chance.
Overall, I think it is overpriced for what it does, but a large part of that may be I am simply not a widget person, nor do I like icons on my desktop, and the main attractions of this launcher, at least IMO, are the animated widgets.

GO launcher is nice, but ever since I found out that it collects data from users, I comepletely stopped using it. Been switching off from Launcher Pro and ADW EX (although I prefer ADW for its usual updates. LP hasn't been updated since early this year)

Adw ex ftw. But you can always 4share spb shell I tried it and looked cool for about 10 minutes. And was a nuciance and was unistalled and I delelted the apk

It is cool but not for that much money. It does few things very nicely and yes it is very attractive and I would buy for 1/3 for 1/4 of the price.
It's cool, I liked it, but honestly just try Regina Launcher, it's just as good except it's actually free on the market.

Chameleon Experience Thus Far

So for those of you who have pre-ordered / funded the kickstarter, what are your opinions so far?
Personally, I'm pretty torn about it right now. I really love the idea and I really want to use it all the time, but nothing works that great on it, yet. I'm not trying to sound harsh because I understand it's still in BETA, I just can't use it as a daily launcher. While load times have improved it still hogs up resources substantially more than any other launcher. They're slowly getting new widgets which is nice, but mine frequently crash. I constantly have connection problems with Facebook and sometimes they all just go blank. So, I'm curious if you all are having similar experiences. With the widget SDK being released soon I'm looking forward to 3rd party widgets.
It's ok. I'm using it as my daily and widgets crash like there's no tomorrow. It has a long way to go to be a functional launcher, imo.

its still slow and unstable for me. i pre-ordered since it shows a lot of promise. really nice UI but still lacking overall. its still a beta after all so thats ok.
no regrets giving them my $10.

Ya... I'm just using it as daily cause km bored with stock launcher right now. It's not stable enough for a real daily driver

Its not bad but also not great imo right now. First had problems with the app drawer getting jumbled when swiping and now with the latest update my weather and Facebook Widgets just sit there with circles rotating until I remove and add the widget again. Don't really use as a daily or anything. I will give it a test though everytime it updates. Still needs some work before releasing in this next month

Needs a lot more work, which is happening as per the devs release notes. Would wait for the public build + x weeks before buying it: my advice.

TSF Launcher

Hi guys. This launcher is really pricey but it is super worth it! Check out what I have done with my Nexus 7 after only playing with it for a few minutes. What more when I actually go deeper into the customization abilities of this launcher!?
TSF Launcher
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WR3mdLETEU&feature=plcp
What do you guys think of this?
Looks like it might drain battery faster with all that animation. I prefer the customization of ssLauncher.
I bought this when it was first released to test it out on my Sensation. I had it on for about a week. LOL It was novel, but lacked a bit of customization. There is a lot you can do with it, don't get me wrong. I dunno, I may play with it again later on my N7.
"Owner of this video made it not available in mobile."
Kinda ironic seeing where it was posted

lol @ this launcher..
It's $17 and they haven't released a single stable version yet.
Look at this release history: http://www.tsfui.com/shell/release_history.html
You're paying $17 to be a beta tester.. For an Android launcher........ LOLOLOLOL

Wrong. They are as stable as any launcher on the market, this launcher is pricey, but I agree with the op, well worth it. You will not find a smoother launcher. Updates are steady and always add extra features not just bug fixes. I've had it since the first released it, it has improved so much more than any other launcher. The development listens to the public and makes changes to improve it.
Love this on my one x especially.
It drains your N7's battery much faster than any other launchers - I tested that so I know what I am saying here.
If you want you N7's battery last longer, use the default launcher. I know there are some simple basic, but more customization launchers out there that has less battery usage.
I don't know about the battery draining because i have been using it for days and have not noticed any significant change in battery life. Even with all the animations this still has no lag when moving from screen to screen.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
used it when.it.got released.. but it didnt have all the features ot has today.. nowadays i use it again

For 17 bux I would think the graphics would be better. Looks like SPB from WinMo 6.5 days.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
I purchased this and ended up un-installing it rather quickly - too many bugs, doesn't work with all widgets and it can't even auto-rotate when you trun the device from portrait->landscape (and vice-versa)! $17 down the drain.... If had auto-rotate, I *might* try living with the other bugs/issues, but the lack of auto-rotate makes it a no-go from the start...
Or am I missing something??

[APP][Launcher]Holo launcher

Hi. I just want to recommend this great speedy launcher. I am using plus version now and it is simply the best. Good performance, nice android 4 look, customizable. Also Holo Locker is very nice.
I totally agree. Quick, convenient, flexible launcher
It's integrated in my ROM..
agreed... nice launcher
hani nerede.kabul yok mu
A good launcher
It's a nice one. But it a bit lags on stock WFS ROM.

yeah it lags a bit... Id rather use LP give it an ICS/JB look its wayy better and a whole lot smoother!
yes, i used holo launcher for almost 2 years.. its not laggy, ang very smooth to use..
the UI is so impress but lags on WFS
I'm also running Nova launcher. It's recently updated its open folder background to kit kat style. Except you can control the transparency and the light or dark look. I imagine holo should be coming out with the similar updates soon.

im using this launcher for almost 2yrs and i love it!
Among the jelly bean-like launchers that can be used on gingerbread I prefer ADW launcher..
I bought ADW ex, and it used to be my favorite launcher. However, consider all the jelly beam like launchers are all updating constantly, ADW is the only one that updates one a year. Don't know what Ander Webb is thinking, but the launcher is far from perfect, his attitude towards his product makes not want to buy anything he makes, if he makes anything else. Perhaps they do things differently in Spain, and they never heard of concept of customer support. Anyway, I used to not like holo for I thought it was too plain, didn't have all the bells and whistles of launcher like ADW ex. But now my phone storage is full of apps, speed and space are my major concern, and holo launcher is nimble and fast. The DEV shows that he cares about his apps by updating it to kit kat look so it won't be out of style.
Posting with Tapatalk 4; send from my Slimbean powered Pantech Burst.
Just wondering if anybody else besides me notice that there is another holo launcher topic in xda forum. I think it's started by the launcher's developer. Nobody besides me posted anything there. Other than the description of the new updates holo launcher version. So why don't we move there and start given the DEV some suggestions?
Posting with Tapatalk 4; send from my Slimbean powered Pantech Burst.
enteen him
holo is the best!
I agree, but where is every body?

its nice launcher
integrated in most of roms
but i started using blinq now
its preety fast and smooth
try it
That drawing gesture has been a part of next 3d launcher since it first came out almost 2 years ago. I think I'm going to stick with next 3d. I barely use it when I have a slower device. Now I have to take advantage of my device 's spec and really enjoy some eye candy. One thing thought, main reason to use holo is to take advantage of its small size and speed. Even though it hasn't gotten any update in almost a year, holo still one of the few launchers out in the market that takes tiny admount of resource, but gives you lots of useful customization.
